Of course I was being nice when I told Michael I was happy with the clean. It was fine. Not outstanding. But satisfactory. I even told his wife the things they missed. And they were never addressed. Which is fine. I am pretty laid back person until you accuse me of being a liar and threaten me. A service was provided for me and I am required to pay for that service. Which I did. And the first check I sent to Regal Maids was cashed. I even tried to schedule another clean after first hearing from Michael's wife that my check hadn't been received. I was going to continue to use their service. I never had the intention of not paying for the service I received. I sent them a check. The check was cashed. But not by them? Even if it was mailed to them? Ok, who was it cashed by? Can you wait to let my bank do an investigation to see? No. They would not wait they asked for another check. I could not get to my bank in time, so they threatened to put a lien on my house. So I went and paid in cash and had to cancel the second check my bank was sending them. So my experience was terrible. Especially since I found a company that did a better deep clean for half the price and in half the amount of time. I read the reviews on yelp before I used Regal Maids service. All of them were fantastic. However, my experience was not. Which is why I wrote a review. If other people disagree, they are more than allowed to. People form their own opinions about everything. And like Michael said "The reviews can speak for themselves." However, my experience was terrible and I found a different cleaning company who did a better job in half the amount of time and for half the price. When it was time to call them back (I had company coming the next week and wanted it cleaned before they came), they were booked out for the next three weeks. I saw a maid service working next door. My neighbor had recommended them to me a year before, but I'd been happy with Prestige Maids. It turns out that they could fit me in, so I used them. I had a lot of trouble with the other maid service. They didn't do as thorough a job and charged me more. I won't get into details. That's not the purpose of this review. I contacted Prestige Maids again, a month later and was able to get on their rotation. It was SO GOOD to have them back again. They are cheerful, prompt and efficient. All around the house I see signs of the great care they take. Today they found three of my dog's chew toys under my couch and put them on her little bed. They turned my ottoman in a more attractive angle. They placed a decorative pillow on my bed that hadn't been there before but looked great. Towels were hung more attractively.
