It was beautiful! Gwen and I chatted on the phone, and I was terribly afraid of the cost of a wedding planner. I know that in the Bay Area, they are ridiculously priced. So I told Gwen that I would be more comfortable just doing "day of" coordination. And she said "i really prefer to work with my brides from day one. I will do that anyway." and she gave me her price.. I almost choked. It was so affordable! And she was on EVERYTHING. Emailing me updates with all of my vendors, finding me vendors that I couldn't get to, just truly gave me sanity during such a crazy time. My wedding day was so smooth. Gwen was on top of everything. At no point did I get stressed out that anything was going wrong because I trusted that Gwen had handled it all. She has such a creative and aesthetic eye. I knew that once the wedding was over, I would miss working with Gwen. Gwen, thank you so much for making my big day so spectacular. Unfortunately, we had a very…read moredisappointing experience with this wedding coordinator and ultimately decided to cancel services just weeks before our daughter's wedding. Despite being paid in full, communication and follow-through were a major concern. Multiple vendors contacted us directly with wedding-related questions because they had still not been contacted by the coordinator, even this close to the wedding. Meetings were disorganized, and one scheduled meeting was nearly canceled when we were notified just 10 minutes beforehand that it had been forgotten. We also had to create our own wedding-day timeline, and instead of feeling that the bride's wishes were being prioritized, we frequently heard what would be easier or more comfortable for the coordinator. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, and hiring a coordinator should relieve that stress--not add to it. We ultimately lost confidence that the services we contracted and paid for would be provided. I'm sharing our experience so other couples can make an informed decision when choosing someone for such an important day.

Mike was a big part of that. He worked well with me on the music selection before and during the dancing and he took requests from all the guests and we had a lot of people dancing all night who didn't want to leave. He worked great with our coordinator and all the transitions in our wedding went very smoothly. His emcee skills were excellent and he had charisma, excitement and confidence in his announcements. Note: If you are having a wedding, hire a coordinator, or designate a friend of family member with a well put together plan. Don't expect the DJ to be your wedding coordinator and then blame him for your own lack of preparedness like another review here did. Mike is highly detail oriented, which is very important for a wedding. It does mean he's going to ask you a lot of questions beforehand and make you aware of a lot of things you probably had no idea mattered, but they really do. You don't want to have some clown who doesn't know how things work and sells you on the illusion that this is an easy job and all you need to do is find the lowest bidder. Then they go and screw up something special like your toast because there's a bunch of people not paying attention and the sound is too low. Happens all the time when you skimp on your DJ. Take my advice, it's one of the most important days of your life. Pay for a DJ with a lot of experience and knows what they are doing. I'm really glad we went with Mike rather than try and save money by getting some kid or cheap DJ service.

They dropped the bounce house off at 8:30 pm Saturday night and we told them sunday we were going to have an all day party so they let us keep it till 11pm. (Last to be picked up) They closed all the gates behind them which was nice since they knew we had dogs and overall service was great. The kids and adults loved the bounce house.
