I started seeing Cindi around 30 weeks pregnant, when I was dealing with sciatica so bad my left leg would go numb and hurt every morning. I'd literally have to stand there for a few minutes before I could even walk. My hips felt sooo heavy, and just moving around the house was exhausting. She asked if I was doing acupuncture, and mentioned that it can really help with the process. So I booked an appointment, went through my medical history, and did a few treatments with Cindi. Cindi is great. I had never seen an acupuncturist and I was honestly a bit nervous. I saw her during my pregnancy to help prepare for labor and I am glad I did. I saw Cindi following a car accident. Weeks of chiropracture had helped but I was still in a lot of pain. The evening after my first treatment with Cindi, I met friends for a glass of wine and sat with complete comfort for a couple hours on a wooden bar stool with no back support. I feel so fortunate to have found Cindi! I have endometriosis and I started seeing her in August to help treat my symptoms. She is so knowledgeable about endometriosis, which is such a breath of fresh air compared to western doctors. Since I began sessions with her, I have been able to get off of all hormonal birth control and treat my endo 100% naturally. Whenever I am having a flare up she listens to my current symptoms and treats me accordingly. This review is long overdue! I was suffering from secondary I fertility after a second trimester loss. It was emotionally and physically draining and we both were heartbroken losing our baby. We tried conceiving again but unfortunately nothing worked. I was put on clomid but again had an early miscarriage. We tried a failed round of IVF. Eventually we decided to give acupuncture a try and decided to see Cindy. She was very empathetic and listened to all my questions and concerns. I conceived naturally after just two months of weekly treatment but ended up in a miscarriage as it was an empty gestational sac but we were happy that I conceived naturally and that gave us hope. I started going to Cindi last weekend after my wife had visited her a few times. This is my first experience with accupuncture but so far my expectations have been surpassed. I quit tobacco recently and have been dealing with withdrawals, anger, frustration, and severe mood swings because of an addiction that has gripped me for two decades. I am now thirteen days tobacco free and because of the treatment Cindi provided me on Sunday, I actually feel calm and prepared to go the rest of my life without putting poison inside my body. Cindi worked with me through my second pregnancy to help reduce swelling and other uncomfortable issues. And in the end she induced that baby! She was practical and calm in her approach; she made it very clear what she was doing and why, what she recommended, etc... She also has herbal training, but was respectful of my ambivalence to go in that direction during pregnancy. I didn't have insurance to cover; acupuncture is expensive. She was incredibly understanding and tried to accommodate the best she could. In the end, I would have paid anything for that induction! Cindi is fantastic!!! I had knee surgery 7 days ago. Yesterday, on post-op day 6, I went in to see Cindi for acupuncture. I saw improvement immediately! When I sat up and swung my legs over the side of the table, my knee bent so easily! The stiffness was so much better, I almost couldn't believe it. After two surgeries(within two years) to get rid of endometriosis, I was told that I either needed to go on hormone meds or try acupuncture. Over the past year-and-a-half, I have had the privilege of being under Cindi's care to help with my endometriosis. Other than the time when I went three weeks without seeing her, I have not had any problems with my endometriosis. Since seeing Cindi, I have had little to no pain and have started having, what I would call, a more "normal" cycle. In addition to her professionalism and care, I really enjoyed the environment that she provides her clients. Her treatment rooms are very comfortable, as the beds have soft sheets, there is calming music playing, and at the end of each bed is a heat lamp for colder feet. I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, calm, and attentive therapist. Even though I was under her care for endometriosis, she was able to help me with lower back pain, stress, and overall well-being. I feel like she really listened when I answered her questions, and I felt like she tailored by sessions to what I needed based on what I was feeling during that particular day of the session. Within the first couple visits and some bloodwork we were able to assess some of my vitamin and hormone levels and determine what was "normal" (per feedback from my current OB) and what was good for fertility specifically. She then recommended a series of supplements to increase a few of my levels to a place that were good for fertility. 4 months later we were pregnant, naturally and on our own! I continued seeing Cindi all throughout my pregnancy up through the end when I was a week overdue for induction treatments. Cindi appointments were something to look forward to; each session began with a quick update on what was going on at the time with the pregnancy and a quick discussion about any discomfort I was experiencing and how we could customize the treatment that day to help address anything.
