In this lobby, there is a place where you can sit down or stand and talk before entering the auditorium upstairs. They usually have drinks and a few snacks provided during intermission and sometimes even before the show begins. On this floor, there are bathrooms. Since it is a very old building, it is built more vertically than laid out horizontally. You have to walk at least two flights of steps to get to where the show is performed. If you want to use the larger bathrooms, they are downstairs two flights of stairs. Last time I was here, I realized there is now an elevator. You can reach that door by going outside of the lobby--such a great addition for those who cannot handle the steps. The theater is very small, as the auditorium holds about 110 to 120 people. It is pretty packed where the show is performed, as the seats are close to one another. There are rows A through G with about 18 seats in each row. There is not a bad seat in the house, but if you are in the front row, you are almost on stage! I love how intimate this theater is. All of the shows that I have seen at Mariemont are high-quality. In fact, those actors and actresses have to be high-quality, as the audience is so close, there is not really room for error. I've seen two shows here in the past year: Harvey and Dearly Departed. Both were great! Looking around the audience, most of the audience members were above the age of 60. Lots of older women and gentlemen, and in my conversations with the people around me, I really do feel like this theater has a large audience of return members. The older gentleman sitting next to me at the last show said he and his wife have been coming to see all the shows here for the past 20 years. He was at least in his 80s. I love seeing the community rally around their community theater and supporting the arts! Thanks for a wonderful time! I can't wait to be back.

However, I am appalled that during the worst covid outbreak that we have ever seen in this area, they are not cancelling performances. Apparently, their love for the almighty dollar outweighs their care and respect of their audience members. I was grateful last year when they cancelled the whole season. I even donated my ticket (4) costs and I would do so again if performances were cancelled. I am fully vaccinated and boosted, however I still don't want to get covid. So, I will not be attending any performances until the covid pandemic has subsided.

I really like this movie theater!…read more First, the concessions area is great. The popcorn actually tastes like it has real butter instead of that super artificial oil flavor. They also have a small bar, so you can grab a glass of wine with your movie, plus the usual candy and snacks. And if you're a popcorn person, you can get a seriously huge bag. I saw someone walking out with a massive family sized bag and honestly respected it. The theater itself is very cozy and has that vintage charm you don't get at newer places. Even though it's small, it didn't feel stuffy or cold inside. I was totally comfortable in shorts. The seating is classic old-fashioned theater seating, no recliners or fancy upgrades, which honestly kind of adds to the nostalgic feel. That said, if you're looking for a super high-tech movie experience with perfect projection and luxury seats, you might want a bigger theater. The projector was a tiny bit oversized for the screen so a sliver of the image was cut off, which wasn't terrible but did catch my eye. Still, it didn't ruin the movie. One thing I loved is that they show older films, reruns, and niche movies along with new releases. It's a fun place to see something a little less mainstream while still having a cute date night in the heart of Mariemont Village. Overall, it's a charming, cozy theater that feels special in a way big chains don't. Perfect for a casual date night or a relaxed movie evening after getting dinner in the village.

There was a glitch at the beginning when the sound wasn't working, but they got that fixed in 5 minutes or so and restarted the movie. As the movie was playing, they even went out and changed the marquee to a personalized proposal sign! It was so cute! The employees were very friendly & helpful and the theater & bathrooms were clean and well cared for.

I finally took that step and signed up here and I truly mean it when I say that this is the best decision I've taken. I don't even know where to start, Steve is the best teacher anyone can ask for. He's always honest with his feedback and that's what I like because he's not gonna give you something you want hear but always something you need to hear so you can improve and always stay on top your game and I truly respect that. Coming to my co-actors/peers, these guys are awesome, they just make you feel at home the second you walk in and it's only been a few months but this group people just feel like family to me and I made some great friends. Not only is it great to act and do the scene but also, watching these amazingly well talented group just go at it with their scenes. I'm glad I chose to go here and meet these people and I feel BLESSED to have a teacher like Steve, who treats every person that steps foot in the studio like family and also, really knows this craft. If you're thinking to start acting and give this a nice try, DO NOT HESITATE, come join the fun.

Not only was the amount of food a total bummer, but the lines because of the lack of food was atrocious. We are talking hour wait times from line to getting your food. It was an organizational nightmare as lines whipped around into other lines and through the grass and roads surrounding. The lack of local beer was also very apparent. They had miller light, coors, and one "craft beer booth/tent" that had a few local madtree cans and then some bigger craft beer names. Again, a total disappointment for an event of this caliber. I don't know if the sponsors weren't getting a lot out of this and decided not to participate this year or if the people organizing this event just weren't really pitching/selling the event hard enough to get sponsors. Either way with as much going on as Cincinnati has - I would not recommend this festival. The only saving grace was being a 90's babies and hearing blessed union of souls and even that was a disappointment as they played mostly cover songs of other peoples music.

This year the music was still good and the reason for receiving any stars. The "Taste" piece is where it missed the mark. There were barely any food options, and of the small selection of choices the lines were super long. I guess that was due to the fact there wasn't much to choose from. What happened Blue Ash? It was more of a festival than a "Taste". This is a family tradition we love going to to and this year was just unfortunate....
