The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Service is pretty good. The food was very good. Margaritas have a lot of ice. The ease of eating on resort is ideal; for this reason I would eat here again.

The atmosphere is very clean and definitely gets you in the mood for some Mexican food! This is our second night at Kalahari and we did the Italian blaze last night and holy cow. The servings sizes at both of these places are absolutely absurd! My husband and I can definitely put down some food, but this place had us only finishing half of what we ordered! Waitress was pretty good at first, and then she got kind of busy.. I appreciated everything on the menu. There was definitely some unique options to choose from! I will definitely come back! Probably wouldn't get the quesobirria again. I am a huge credit on those and this just did not do it for me.

Walking past Cinco Ninos several times to the waterpark the smells lure you in! We decided to have dinner here on Sunday evening and did not leave disappointed. Service was quick and friendly. Food was good overall, although I would not recommend the taquitos. I choose them for my main meal and they were very bland and not much chicken filling. The outside was not as crispy as I prefer. My husband had the fajitas and said they were delicious and the portion size was more than generous. My daughter has the kids quesadilla with fries and she loved them. We also had the Mexican street corn appetizer which was very good, although different than were used too. This dish was incredibly cheesy; more like thick queso with corn on top. We shared a pitcher of mango margaritas which was very good. Overall it was a good meal and we'll eat here again next trip to Kalahari.

Visited Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells on New Year's day for a short holiday get away. After a half days off water slides, we made reservations at Cinco Ninos for a party of 5 at 6pm. Arrived at 6p and was immediately seated. However, the staff was a bit busy and it was 6:14p when our server finally took our order. That said he was very friendly, and took our drink and meal order. Our drinks were delivered quickly, followed by our chips and salsa. The dining area is well lit and casual. Very amenable to families with young children. Has lots of big tables for large groups. Restroom was clean and well stocked. Went thru the chips and salsa fairly quickly. Refills are $3.00. The kitchen seems slammed which is surprising as I can count at least 9 empty tables. Seems to have enough servers, but 30 minutes after ordering and still no meals or even a complimentary chips & salsa. Our waters were refilled as needed. The sodas were not. And 32 minutes after ordering, our meals arrived. Taste was great. Portion sizes were very generous. All our orders were correct. It was a good dinner, it just took a while.

Great food and ambiance right near the water park entrance! Service was super slow for not being crowded so otherwise I recommend

We arrived about 15 minutes early for our 7:45pm reservation on a Saturday and sat at the bar for a drink. I opted for a morning glow and an espresso martini. Both were decent, I would probably explore another option next time. Seating took a little longer than we thought, seated around 8pm. I'll be honest, at first our sever seemed like a jerk, but quickly turned it around. We started with the cheesecurds, we ate every single one of them. The salads that come with dinner were the perfect size and the bread was a nice touch. We went with a couple of different steaks and they were some of the best cuts we have ever had. As avid 801 Chop in Minneapolis this place blew them out of the water. Second best thing were the mashed potatoes- holy crap, so good! The hash browns were okay but I would have been sad if that was my only option. We were stuffed but the flourless chocolate cake was calling our names. I'm SO glad we pushed through and ordered it, it was a 12/10! Order this, even if you're full and thank me later! Check this place out, you wont be sorry!

I ordered the 6 oz filet (medium) which was charred on the outside and melted in my mouth. My husband had the boneless ribeye - very little fat and one of his top 5 all time best steaks. I had the spicy margarita which was so good. They had a lot of dessert options but we didn't order any. The place was dimly lit so it was a very romantic date night. The reason for my 4/5 stars is that a margarita in a small bar glass should not be $15. Our total bill for 2 lobster bisques, 1 6 oz filet, 1 16 oz ribeye, a beer, and a margarita was $172. I feel like we ordered should not have been that expensive, but I guess it because of the dells.

When we arrived we found out they had set aside a beautiful private room for us. Members of our party unfortunately were not considerate and told me they weren't coming and then unexpectedly showed up, which caused a problem for our server Brock who then had a large group by himself. He was so gracious throughout the night. He never made us feel like a bother (though I knew we were due to the sudden increase in size and change of pacing to the meal). He was fantastic with our young children, so thoughtful and gave excellent service. The other staff at the restaurant were great in supporting him. All of the food was absolutely excellent. Brock was great about getting our portion of the check out quickly so that we could pay and leave to put our small children to bed while the members who arrived and ordered late continued eating. Brock and the staff supporting him made it great night out, I thanked him again before we left and he was extremely humble and kind. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area. Thanks so much!

The service was outstanding from start to finish, with super attentive and welcoming staff. The best part of the meal was the oysters -- fresh, delicious, and honestly, the standout of the night. I ordered the ribeye steak, which was good, but I've definitely had better at other steakhouses. The broccoli was pretty plain, the mashed potatoes were just okay, and the mushrooms in gravy could've been better. Overall, it was a nice experience thanks to the atmosphere, amazing service, and those oysters, but the rest of the food left a little room for improvement.

We did not have the best experience with the service unfortunately. Our reservation table was not ready on arrival and nobody came up to our table to greet or take our drink order until around 20 minutes after we sat down. We also had requested to sit outside and they reported that they didn't have a table for this. I checked outside after and they had multiple tables outside open. I ordered the mushroom risotto and espresso martini. The espresso martini was amazing. Would definitely order again!

The host and the server asked us a couple of times if we were sure we wanted to sit outside since it was a bit chilly. But our minds were set and we were happy with our decision to sit outside; enjoying the fresh air and sunset views. And really it wasn't too bad at all with a light sweater on. The inside of the restaurant was rather warm which is perhaps why they thought it was so cold out on the back patio. Their cocktail list was classic and not overwhelming. I chose the Negroni. Dinner was the Mahi Po-Boy sandwich. Fish was cooked to perfection. Sandwich wasn't super fancy or overloaded with fillings. Just a light drizzle of cucumber aioli and a little coleslaw mixture. My only complaint is that the bread was a little too heavy or thick, it took away from the overall light flavor and texture of the fish. Perhaps something a little thinner would complement it more? Final thoughts: worth the view, relaxed environment, a step away from the busier main streets, feels more local and less touristy than the surrounding area.
