Mexican place inside the Kalahari Resort. I ordered their shrimp tacos and it was delish!!! The shrimp was grilled and they were big not your ordinary small size shrimp! Some family members also ordered the burritos and it was huge!!! The price wasnt too bad considering it was inside the resort. The service was great and they were able to keep.up with iur group and we were a huge group. I will definitely coming back when im in kalahari! Happy eating!!! read more

The quesabirria tacos were delicious! Alonso was the BEST server ever! He was so helpful and kind. The restaurant was warm and inviting.

The atmosphere is very clean and definitely gets you in the mood for some Mexican food! This is our second night at Kalahari and we did the Italian blaze last night and holy cow. The servings sizes at both of these places are absolutely absurd! My husband and I can definitely put down some food, but this place had us only finishing half of what we ordered! Waitress was pretty good at first, and then she got kind of busy.. I appreciated everything on the menu. There was definitely some unique options to choose from! I will definitely come back! Probably wouldn't get the quesobirria again. I am a huge credit on those and this just did not do it for me. read more

Walking past Cinco Ninos several times to the waterpark the smells lure you in! We decided to have dinner here on Sunday evening and did not leave disappointed. Service was quick and friendly. Food was good overall, although I would not recommend the taquitos. I choose them for my main meal and they were very bland and not much chicken filling. The outside was not as crispy as I prefer. My husband had the fajitas and said they were delicious and the portion size was more than generous. My daughter has the kids quesadilla with fries and she loved them. We also had the Mexican street corn appetizer which was very good, although different than were used too. This dish was incredibly cheesy; more like thick queso with corn on top. We shared a pitcher of mango margaritas which was very good. Overall it was a good meal and we'll eat here again next trip to Kalahari. read more

If staying at Kalahari resort, I'd recommend staying away from Cinco Ninos. While it appears to be a decent place, it lacks a lot. To start off, the service was horrible. Messed up our simple drink orders right off the start. 5 waters and 3 pops. How do you even mess that up? Then our food order was wrong. They were slow and unresponsive to the issues. While we expected to pay a higher dollar since it was at the resort, the cost was absolutely ridiculous for what we got. 4 adults and 4 kids with no alcohol the bill came out to nearly $300. I still haven't figured out how that was even possible. Mostly water to drink and a couple kids got pop. For comparison, the brew pub we got a few drinks and milk shakes and enjoyed a good meal for $220. read more

Visited Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells on New Year's day for a short holiday get away. After a half days off water slides, we made reservations at Cinco Ninos for a party of 5 at 6pm. Arrived at 6p and was immediately seated. However, the staff was a bit busy and it was 6:14p when our server finally took our order. That said he was very friendly, and took our drink and meal order. Our drinks were delivered quickly, followed by our chips and salsa. The dining area is well lit and casual. Very amenable to families with young children. Has lots of big tables for large groups. Restroom was clean and well stocked. Went thru the chips and salsa fairly quickly. Refills are $3.00. The kitchen seems slammed which is surprising as I can count at least 9 empty tables. Seems to have enough servers, but 30 minutes after ordering and still no meals or even a complimentary chips & salsa. Our waters were refilled as needed. The sodas were not. And 32 minutes after ordering, our meals arrived. Taste was great. Portion sizes were very generous. All our orders were correct. It was a good dinner, it just took a while. read more

We were staying at the resort and made a reservation to ensure we had a table. We were seated right away and given chips and salsa within a couple of minutes of sitting down. Despite what other reviews said, we found the portions very generous. We ordered two kids meals (one for each kid), and they could have easily split it (Mac and cheese for one, enchilladas for the other). My husband had the tacos, and he liked the flavor of those and the rice and beans. I ordered the burrito, and it was so huge, we brought it back to the room and had some for lunch the next day (still tasted great--a nice kick with the salsa verde). We also did a pitcher of margaritas--nice and strong and plenty for us to split for the duration of our meal. Overall, good food and ambience. Very nice staff! read more

Took 10 minutes just to get our waters, food took way too long and wasn't correct, order margaritas and they were sitting in the back for 15 minutes done and they said it wasn't. Was missing a lot of food and just poor service. read more

So many good things and we haven't even ordered our meals yet...Bloody Mary is sooo good, not too acidic but delightful tomato flavor, perfectly balanced. Nacho chips are light and crispy, could have a wee bit more salt but understandable why they are lightly salted. Both the pico and verde sauces are fresh and delicious. Nachos in a can is a bit stressful(!), you'll know once you experience it...comes w white queso, ground beef was ironically a bit salty(!), but green light on the nachos. Meals - PSA - the portions are generous! Buddy up on initial ordering, you can always order more. Quesaburria meat and chicken are SOOO tender! Quesadillas come 'dressed' so if you have a picky eater, ask for them 'plain' or 'undressed.' Everything on the menu looked good and we enjoyed all the food. Our server A'Lexis was so delightful and responsive, as was the staff when one of our 5 boys decided to wear his soda instead of drinking it! . Will eat here again . read more

Had chicken fajitas and was absolutely tasteless, and barely any chicken. It was almost laughable at the pile of green peppers and onions and I had to search for a chunk of chicken. I will say the salsas were good. Got one small basket of chips with 6 people and when we asked for more we were charged. Seems like with 6 people you would get a bit more than that considering that there were 1 -2 people tables with the same amount. Kids meal were sad for $10. I never saw a smaller taco - for $10 they could have given a regular taco. The servers tried but we were brought food that should have gone to another table twice. We were extremely happy with our dinner here. Food was fresh, hot & delicious, & the margaritas were outstanding. All of the staff went above & beyond to make sure we were happy. The only negative we found was their selection of salsas (one red & one green) lacked any flavor. Would recommend for both small & large groups, the restaurant is huge! read more
