I have read both the good and bad reviews and I can only honestly state my experience with this company. The representative who helped me is Greg and my experience was very good. I lost a screw that holds the cylinder pin in place and when I called the company, Greg squared me away and offered some pointers on how to keep the screw from falling out. I ended up by ordering and paying for two of these screws and I was sent four. Additionally I was also sent a schematic of the pistol. I have purchased two pistols from this company, 1) Colt Thunderer in 357 magnum and, 2) Evil Roy SAA 45 LC. The accuracy for both pistols are superb. My dad, who has shot in and won many pistol competitions, was impressed by the groups for both these pistols. My brother was so impressed that he purchased an Evil Roy 45 LC like mine. My only suggestion is to check the screws in these pistols after shooting. These pistols are manufactured to very similar specs as the originals, to include some of the flaws. It was a known issue back in the day that the screws on these pistols tend to shoot loose. It is an easy fix. Either finger nail polish or blue lock-tite on the threads will solve this problem. These pistols are among my favorite of many that I have. So, bottom line: pistols that go bang each time you pull the trigger and bullets hit where you are aiming at and for me, the customer support was very good. read more

this is the first time I've ever purchased a firearm from Cimmeron because of the reviews I have read and the companies that they use to manufacture these in Italy they have wonderful reputation upon receiving my new colt replica went to the range and right out of the box. The pistol had some issues it was not firing correctly. It was skipping a cylinder or locking in between cylinders. I called Cimarron immediately and spoke to Bobby. He assured me that being a new owner of one of their products, I was not to worry I was covered completely. He immediately sent me an email with all of the return authorization information and warranty claim paperwork to fill out and a prepaid UPS next day air label for my package he explained everything very clearly, and assured me that I will get a firearm that deserves the appreciation of the company that made it and distributed it I sent it off today and we will see how quickly the return process and repair process takes but so far I am very pleased with the customer service I have received on the phone and by email read more

Cimarron is an importer I believe; they are said to get the cream of the Uberti-manufactured Old West replica firearms (and they may import from other sources too but I've not looked at all the pieces they offer). The Old West revolver I have is beautiful...and functional....in every way. It's truly a working piece of history...modern grade of steel and brass, but timeless original design. The Cimarron staff responds to questions quickly (Greg responds to mine); answers can be brief but they are definitive, and the information provided (for example on what kinds of ammo is acceptable to use) clearly leans toward safety and responsible operation. There's nothing like a single action Old West big bore revolver, blued and brassy, with good sights and a long heavy octagonal steel barrel, accurately barking out large chunks of lead while your range buddies salivate in envy. Cimarron is the place to get such works of art. I'm looking at more. read more

Can't say enough good things, about Greg, Senior Sales at Cimarron. He contacted me by phone concerning an order I had just placed, for a couple of firearms, due to the fact that they did not have one of the guns in inventory. Because, of that, he could not fill my order, but offered a solution to the problem. He had checked, with their retail store, dba Texas Jacks, and they had both guns in inventory. Greg forwarded the phone number and referred me to Bobby, the firearms manager. I contacted Bobby at T.J., and successfully completed the purchase. Both, of these guys, were just great in their positive and friendly approach in getting my order done and a positive experience, with Cimarron, as the corporate, and Texas Jacks, as the retailer. Outstanding customer service, gents!! You can bet I'll be back, for a future order. I'd give you more than 5 stars, if I could. read more

I lost a part on my 1873 Winchester SRC. Called and got Bobbi the parts manager. He knew exactly what I was looking for and went and found the tiny spring I lost while cleaning the rifle. Sending me the spring in the mail as well as a schematic of the rifle for future reference. I couldn't be happier with the service and looking forward to getting the part in the mail. On a further note...I have two Winchester replicas from Cimarron and they have both been fantastic! Thanks for your help Bobbi. read more

I want to say how happy I am with the service I received from Greg Slaughter Senior Sales Associate at Cimarron Firearms. He helped me find a Cimarron 1873 US 7th Cavalry Model, which are in very short supply, at one of their distributors. My local FFL was then able to get it shipped to his store very quickly for me. It's gorgeous. He is a great guy to deal with. If you are interested in a Cimarron firearm you should definitely contact Greg. D Johnson read more
