We spent some time in The Texas Silver Rush during a visit to Fredericksburg. Chatted with the owner off and on while we were there. He is very knowledgeable about the different kinds of turquoise and other materials used in making his jewelry. Nice and wide selection, from small to large pieces, the overall quality is very good. It's a fun place to meander through and check out the inventory. They sell a lot of jewelry out of this store, so the inventory is always changing. We didn't pick up anything this visit, but we'll stop back by again. It's fun to look! LOL read more

If you are looking for something special to mark an occasion or just a treat for the significant other... you can't go wrong with jewelry. Navajo pearls and turquoise are two of the specialties here and the staff are very knowledgeable. Friendly service and a good value if you are buying a set. They do a good business online but your best prices are by way of a visit to their store in Fredericksburg. read more

I came in 2 days in a row, and on the second day I came in to buy a gift for my fiancée. That day was today, Christmas Eve. The owner was the only one staffing the store, as he had given all of his staff the day off. He was really jolly and gave me a great discount, I was honestly kind of shocked. He even threw in an additional gift! I don't really like shopping at jewelry stores, but I had a great experience here so I had to leave a review! read more

The jewelry was gorgeous. The customer service needs work. We just popped in to look while walking around after dinner. The gentleman working did not look thrilled to have anyone walk in right before he closed. Maybe he had a bad day ‍ I gave 2 stars for the jewelry because it was stunning, but I won't be back. read more

Always stop here when we are in Fredericksbug. They have beautiful handcrafted unique jewelry. I bought several in the past and again today. I love the hammered look and the Native American inspired pieces. The owners are very nice and welcoming. They are. Veteran owned so for us it is a must to support them. Can't wait to see what they have next time. If you are in Fredericksburg give this business a try. They don't push anything on you. read more

Absolutely love this store. In this quaint town this is an amazing find. The jewelry is absolutely beautiful. The store is laid out well. The owner is a Veteran. He is a doll, friendly and an absolute artist. He will personally help you which is great. Definitely worth stopping in when in town. They have a great website too. I love how there are options at every price point. Truly beautiful pieces. I know I can always find something for when I dress up or need something casual. read more

When you're in Fredericksburg, you have to stop here. Joe designs all of his pieces and knows how to make suggestions that make you look your best. The first thing he said to us was to make ourselves at home and we immediately felt like we could chat all day with him. His store is designed well. Though small, it has a lot of personality and many pieces to choose from that you will definitely find that one price you didn't know you needed. If you're missing that something to complete your look for dinner, TSR will have it. There's even a small section in the back with even more pieces. He suggested a pair of earrings that would show off my jawline and he was right. It was the exact shape I needed to complete my look and compliment the necklace I had picked out. I had to walk out with several pieces. What helps too is that he has photos on the wall that will help you decide what could match and he and his staff are very helpful at finding exactly what you need. There are pieces for those who want something simple, maybe a little bit more flash, and then bigger pieces too. What I love as well is that even with the bigger ones, they go with tank tops as well as dresses. You can't loose. Customer service is top notch here and every piece has its own personality. Do not pass up this store! read more

So my husband and I walked into the Texas Silver Rush while visiting Fredericksburg after eating breakfast, we decided to go on a bicycle ride around downtown. We walked in and we were immediately greeted by truly a most polite individual by the name of Joe who insisted that we receive 50% off of earrings & bracelets because of his weekly Monday sale. Make sure you go on a Monday to get the very special VIP treatment! Joe (the owner) is known to work with several musicians & celebrities. He has photos of Willie Nelson, Bri Bagwell, Journey, and other celebrities modeling his extremely bossy pieces. read more

If I could post a -10 I would. I would say the person working in this store was rude and inconsiderate but it doesn't go far enough. My friend is handicapped and has a very hard time walking even with her walker. This cruel woman decided her "precious" rug was too important for my friend's walker to roll on. She wouldn't let my friend go into the store because it might damage a rug that the general public walks on every day! I would have told her off in person but I was afraid how mad I might get. To that woman who obviously was the owner. Handicap people have feelings and struggle just to get around. Think about that the next time you enjoy the freedom of walking across the room without help. A decent person would have let my friend enter the store and not considered a rug more important than my friend's feelings. SHAME on you! read more

Went into the store for a pair of silver earrings. Left with 3 necklaces and several pairs of earrings. My Mom left with even more. In addition to the beautiful jewelry, I got some great hiking tips for exploring the area. We LOVES Trish and Joe and are already talking about what pieces we want next. Definitely check them out. They are awesome and their jewelry is beyond...just beyond. read more

Made an unscheduled stop into the store at the prompting of our 3 year old, "mom, let's go in there, so many pretty things." Gorgeous jewelry, great staff. We met one of the owners, Joe. Both of our kids left with a gift even though we didn't purchase anything on this trip. read more

Awesome! Normally I can't stand shopping, but Joe made this a completely different experience. Typically I take a nap or go look at stuff I find interesting and hold on to the cash while my wife browses. If she sees something she wants we go in and get it, then I run out like my pants are on fire. We went through the routine here as well, but to my surprise Dina came back with a nice pair of earrings for free and dragged me into Texas Silver Rush. Joe, the owner was fantastic, he greeted us like old friends and did an excellent job of selling his product, allowing my wife to mix and match and provided a steep discount. I couldn't recommend a better jewelry store if you like turquoise/silver/western style jewelry. This is the perfect venue for fellas looking for a gift for their girlfriend/wife. Not only is the merchandise high quality (my wife has already been complimented on her necklace - apparently that's a big thing for women), but the prices are great to boot. Even if shopping isn't your thing, this is a store you won't regret visiting! read more

My daughter and I have been shopping here in our yearly visits to fredericksburg for quite some time. The Texas Silver Rush - One of our most recent acquisitions from Texas Silver Rush - Jewelry Near Me - Fredericksburg, Texas

We found this place many years ago on the west side of town on Main Street. They moved a few doors down but they are still there making awesome jewelry. Joe, the owner, has personally helped us select pieces for important occasions or special people and never disappoints. He has friendly knowledgeable help and they are now online as well. I've gone online when they are having a live event and always get a shout out from Joe. They have more than silver, there are many handmade and commissioned pieces too. He also will come across old pieces and remake them into newer completely different pieces - more like art to me. This is a can't miss stop if you go to Fredericksburg. My childhood best friend was visiting and we took her to The Texas Silver Rush. She found a gorgeous ring that was only one of two that Joe just had commissioned in a collaboration with an artist friend of his. The other one was already sold. So, you never know what you will find while you are there. Super nice place, people and jewelry. Like I said, a must see stop in Fredericksburg!! Tell him Judy sent you!! read more

On 4/30 we stopped into the store for a quick browse while on the way to the bakery next door (& we are so happy that we did!) The shop is inviting, comfortable & filled with Beautiful Jewlery!!... My mother who loves Indian jewelry was in heaven! What made our experience even better, was meeting Joe, the owner. Joe is a one of a kind, truely genuine person that has proudly served our country & now handcrafts beautiful jewelry! Our time in the store was like running into an old friend. We shared stories about family & life experiences, while deciding on what to buy. Our day was blessed meeting such a great man & finding such Beautiful jewelry that will be a daily reminder of our visit. We will definitely be making more purchases online & hope to return & visit with Joe again. Thank you Joe!...you are truly gifted in more ways than one! read more

Going to this store is more like stopping by a friend's house than it is shopping. The people in there, I can't even call them staff, are so friendly. They are just happy to see you and show you around, visit a little. If you buy something that's great, if you don't they are just glad you stopped in. But how can you not buy something? Their jewelry is beautiful! Unique designs, fabulous quality and reasonable prices. If you don't see exactly what you are looking for, ask Joe or Trish. Chances are they can modify an existing piece or even design one just for you! Texas Silver Rush is one of my favorite places to go! read more
