My brother in law is a gun enthusiast so naturally, I have rolled into the place a few times over the past few years. 2020 was the pandemic year and with nothing else to do on weekends after things started opening up that June, we went to Apache Rifleworks and checked out their inventory. There was a run on ammo back then so a trip there a week to buy ammo was necessary. Last year, I finally bought a gun there. It's a Mark IV 22 that is an absolute joy to use for target shooting. The ammo is not that expensive so shooting 2-4 boxes of 22's sets you back $20 - $30. Overall, I enjoy going to Apache especially during their advertised sale which they don't do very often. I'm not into guns like my brother in law but he gets me in there at least 4 times a year. It's a grand place to look at guns and has a great shooting range with a very helpful, competent and professional instructor. I've tried their shooting range and it's very nice. They also have in house classes for everything about gun ownership and shooting exercises. One caution, it is a very expensive hobby. Just wanted to share that with you! read more

Bought an Aug for my other half as his main Christmas gift this year. Really had no idea how I was going to top his birthday gift, which was his all time want. (1911 colt 45) Anyways, shared what I was trying to do and the guys there were very helpful in helping me pick the right gift. Needless to say, he loved opening this box! I was able to shoot for approximately 15 minutes when an employee decided that I could not shoot the hollowpoint rifle ammunition I have used there for years and would need to buy ammo from them. I told the employee that I was not going to buy his ammo and the ammunition I had used there was never a problem before. I was escorted off the range. Even though when the employee said I could not shoot the hollow point ammunition I had brought, I began packing up my equipment , he stayed right with me all the way out of the range area like I was going to sneak a few more shots in or something. He did not refund my money either even though I paid for an hour. I encourage shooters to go anyplace else but Apache Rifleworks. read more

The business was clean, well organized, and had a nice selection of firearms products. Tom at the range was exceptional. I was there with my young sons and he was patient, kind, and very helpful. My sons have shot before but are still getting comfortable. Tom set them at ease and was reassuring. He had a part in our great experience at the range. read more

Friendly staff but the Armorer is an arrogant rude clown who never wants to talk to anyone and is rude when he does. He also ripped me off when i needed a barrel blued by never telling me it was going to cost me 750 dollars! I also heard Paul the owner tell me one time that Military snipers don't know how to shoot! I am a veteran and that did not sit well with me. I have had some bad experiences with this place. Hope you have a better experience. read more

Super nice place and well kept but! The price's are super inflated. I went to buy and AR and not knowing much about them I trusted this place would not do me wrong. I was the wrong one. Bought a Diamondback AR for 1,499.00. That's almost 500.00 over listed MSRP on the manufacturer's website. A gun isn't something I can return or I would. Will never go back nor recommend this place to anyone for any reason. read more

This is a gun dealer and shooting range near Comfort Texas and it has everything you need that has to do with guns. They also have a gun smith on site, so they will fix up your guns as well. While I didn't have the chance to visit the range, I already saw it and it's a nice indoor range that has everything you want. And even has some special events like ones the week it's a women's only night so women can shoot without having to hear the guy's opinion on how to shoot differently. The people here are all very nice and extremely helpful. They have a nice range, as well. Ended up buying 4 guns with the help of Steve who is wonderful to deal with. Visited Apache several months ago and would rate on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) as a 10!. Folks running the facility were courteous friendly and knowledgeable. Was with an ex Marine, so we got a military discount. Best shooting range I have experienced. Indoor shooting range with adjustable target distance. Very clean and well kept. Looked brand new. Have almost everything you need if you forgot something or run out of ammo, targets, etc. Very worth the drive near Comfort, Tx. Really nice facility with very nice and Knowledgeable staff. Lots of mech and gear at fare prices. They also do sales and discounts all the time for all sorts of things from getting your chl to buying a silencer or an nfa item. They do charge a lot to shoot but again it's a nice place. read more

Took my 26 year old daughter to the range today. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean range and shop! I should have caught the name of the gentleman who signed us in. He was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Allowed her to shoot a new MP 380 and she bought it on the spot. Gave her some tips and her confidence went sky high.
