When I walked in there was a long line of customer's and a woman at the front yelling about how she should be able to get refunded for a product she wasn't happy with and now. The situation was that the cashier on duty wasn't authorized to perform her specific return (probably due to the nature of the item) and would need approval from the owner. This lady just went yelling on and on about how she needs to get the owner on the phone now and see about getting her return because she isn't able to come in tomorrow because she works and blah blah blah.... you could almost feel all the customer's behind her including me.. sighing for what seemed like was going to be an eternal wait to get just the simple items we came for. I was so grateful to the counter person, who very calmly and politely asked the lady to please be patient, she would get her what she was asking for, but she needed to handle the line of customer's first. We were all cheering inside... YAY! We won't be stuck here waiting forever to perform our super fast n quick transactions.. woot! The lady went on some more about how she didn't feel she should have to wait, and You need to get him on the phone now!. Aw man, the line of customer's sighed inwardly again. The cashier was awesome, she just stayed completely calm, didn't budge a bit, set the boundaries and insisted that , "yes, I understand you feel that way, and I will give you what you want, but this isn't the right time for it. There is a right time for what you are asking for and now is not yet that time." The lady finally relented and the line of customer's cheered silently. I know because I was. The cashier whipped through the line and took care of me and one other behind me in what seemed like 2 or 3 minutes, it couldn't of been more than that, it was fast. I wished that dear cashier girl a good an evening as possible... but goodness I wanted to say more.... Thank you so much for handling that woman so that I could get my stuff and go! If you look at 90% of the online stores featuring this exact model and kit you'll find near identical prices. But I swear I've stepped into 4-5 different smokes shops in the south sac area that had that same kit in their inventory. When I asked how much are they selling it for I swear over and over again these clowns will look at me and say $100 with a straight face. Most other smoke shops in the area are hoping to capitalize on unwitting customers who don't know better. The Wink doesn't. They actually want their customers happy. Imagine that. A business model that encourages repeat customers. Sad to say but that's practically revolutionary for smoke shops in sac. And with the exception of just one bad apple..and not even so much bad as he is lazy..the staff here are all welcoming and knowledgable and helpful and patient. It breaks my heart to see the 2 employees (who have so far been literally my favorite to deal with during my visits) disparaged in the other reviews here. But from what I can tell the corresponding reviews are based mostly on individual incidents rather than an aggregated score based on a few visits. That said.. I dont want to discredit their reviews we all have our own opinions. I do, however, sincerely hope they give it another shot for the prices alone.
