Most excellent cigar joint. I went in to get a quick cigar, I sat in the lounge to smoke and work. The vibes were great and the owner, amazing. Also, I dropped my keys there, didn't realize for a couple days, backtracked my steps, called, and bam! He found my keys and shared that he stayed open for an extra hour in case I came back. I was super impressed with this place. We walked in and were greeted by Sam the owner. My friend and I each bought a cigar and were about to leave and were asking if there was anywhere we can sit around Montrose and smoke. He showed us his back room lounge that has a tv. Watched opening night basketball and smoked cigars. I will definitely be back. Good prices, good service, good atmosphere. Keep up the good work read more

First time here and this lounge/shop did not disappoint. Located in a very quaint Montrose, CA neighborhood, ample parking plus parking behind the shop and a large selection of premium cigars. Customer service is A+, Sam (owner) is very friendly and accommodating and the lounge is very cozy. I highly recommend a visit when you're in the neighborhood. read more

There's something fishy going on at this cigar shop I frequently buy the cigar boxes for $2 from this establishment. For some reason, today's attendant at the store said the cigar boxes in the window are $3. What gives? Either the guy manning the register is making a little something for himself on the side or the "statement" they told me that the ones in the window are $3 is now the new rate. read more

My boyfriend is going nuts from cigars. He is really in love with cigars, and as a weekend gift for him I just bought a OpusX by Fuente. The owner told me it is the best choice. Almost every cigar shop has their own humid room for cigars, but what is interesting about that place they have a smoking room that you can see only when walk inside the store. I. LOVE THIS PLACE! This place was the very first tobacco shop I came to when I was a fresh 18 year old young buck and they where amazing. Unfortunately they've discontinued the chocolate cavendish tobacco I loved for my pipe. But have made many other GREAT homemade flavors, in the 7 years since. They have always been very kind and caring with everything that I am looking for. And very helpful on the types of tobacco that I am feeling In the mood for when I come in. Very respectful. Awesome cigar selection as well. They keep the humidifier on all the time so that the cigars don't dry and spoil. Great customer service. Great people. Great tobacco. Excellent place. Thanks guys. By far THE BEST SMOKE SHOP I have been to. I have recommended all of my buddy's here and you should to if your looking for QUALITY. With an unbelievable variety of top-notch premium collections and cigars, and a very nice mellow cigar lounge in the back where you can just kick back and enjoy a cigar, THIS PLACE is the place to go. Sam is an amazing entrepreneur. So welcoming to our cigar smoking friend from Toronto Canada. Tom was able to find a rare Cuban cigar that was unavailable to him anywhere else. Who would think that this little shop in Montrose would be world famous? Those of us who are nonsmoking can enjoy browsing and smelling the scents of different tobacco in the humidor room. read more

If it were possible to give this place 0 stars I would. My boyfriend and I went in there to purchase some cigars one day and when we asked if they have a military discount we were given the dirtiest of dirty looks and on VETERANS DAY no less. A simple no would of sufficed. We just left at that point. Without the cigar. It's age to say we won't be going back. EVER. MOOD = RUINED read more

Here is another great cigar shop that us a well kept establishment. I have visited this shop several times in the past month. Every time I walk in the shop keep is very and welcomes all types of smokers. If you have any questions or if you have one of does days when you can't decide on what to smoke, the owner will help you out. When you first enter the store you get this fresh sent of amazing smell from the walk in humidor room. The store carries over 100 different types of cigars. All the usual Monte Cristo, Avo, and Romeo Juliet much much more. Yes, the store does carry hookah products and tobaccos at low rate prices in my opinion are the cheapest I have seen. You can also find other tobacco products like for the old fashion pipe smoker and video variety of cigarettes as well. Oh course the shop also carries a lot of cigar accessories like cutters, lighters, classy humidor boxes. I promise you that this store carries something for any type of smoker. If you can't find what your looking for over here, then you are no smoker. All in all you can never go wrong at this store with the unbeatable prices, friendly welcoming service, and the cleanliness of the establishment. I love this shop in Montrose, and have been coming here for a few years now. The owner is very friendly, and is always available for some excellent recommendations and service. They have some great cigars, hookah tobacco flavor, and anything else you'd need. The place is a ways from my home but it's the best place for your tobacco needs. Excellent customer service and great stock. There is a store a mile from my house, but I'm always ending up going to Cigar Empire. On a Saturday i called around closing time and they waited for me to make the 12 mile trip.
