New Yorkers are spoiled by the excellent Filipino and Dominican versions of lechon found in NYC. Unfortunately, the one found here had tough, leathery skin, but the meat was very tender. Not seasoned enough, a prolific assortment of condiments was provided. The space was very clubby, and we sat overlooking the avenue below on a 75 degree Mexican evening enjoying the warm breezes. They finish cooking at your table on a heated slab of stone or salt. The rib eye a la tequila and rib eye a la sal (salt) are intended to feed two people, and at roughly $45 are more than worth it - especially when they set the rib eye a la tequila on fire tableside. They have a reasonable drink selection as well, including high end. No wait, and prices were extremely reasonable (less than $40 per steak). The view of Monterrey and the Sierra Madres is also spectacular. I highly recommend you try this for a fun dinner out in Monterrey.
