A decently sized mall, with a good selection of stores. However the "food court" is small and disappointing with not many seating options. In my opinion, a mall should be equipped with a large food court and alot of seating options, because a person gets hungry after all the shopping. I heart Cielo Vista Mall! I haven't been in awhile, but I sure do miss those days when I used to frequent this place. Being that El paso isn't a huge town.. I think the mall is pretty big! It has all the stores you would need. No high end, but El Paso doesn't roll like that anyway. The food court is decent, plentiful options. My daughter loved playing in the play area here. It was always clean and well-kept. The mall is easy to navigate and is pretty well organized. As with any mall, parking on the weekends can be pretty hard to find, but if you park outside of a department store, you'll have better luck. The mall is situation in a great location right off the freeway, making it easy to get in and out of. Cielo Vista is a little more crowded than Sunland Park, and usually has more teenagers roaming, but that's just about any mall in America. Them teenagers love their malls! read more

I am NOT particularly fond of going to any mall; it is significant that I'm giving this fine collection of stores underneath one roof any stars. So it is quite an achievement to earn 5 stars from me (some people have expressed that I'm just too easy...?!). Anyway, my criteria for 5-stars almost always incorporate bicycling and food. Add to that an agreeable, super-intelligent wife and a lucrative sale (clothing for me), so there is virtually no way I wouldn't go. My bicycling was earlier, when I pedaled my Doublevision to & from work--I was tired (too tired to resist?), and the sale was beginning this day (Friday, 09OCT2015) at Dillard's West. Most people know that if you want the best choice from the widest selection, go early. That meant eating close-by, in an extremely clean (the entire mall was exceptionally clean) food court. Thank goodness Thai Kitchen was one of the eateries present, and a special note goes to the gentleman behind the counter who enticed me in with a free sample on a toothpick. The delicious fresh meal was perfect to keep me going for the daunting task ahead. It was a bit challenging initially as there are TWO fine Dillard's stores in this two-story complex, but the choice was infinitely easier after wandering through Dillard's North, finding primarily Women's wear. We made a beeline for Dillard's West, my beloved leading the way. Indeed, she had a classic strategy, one that would have been last resort (if I'd thought of it) for me: she approached the first salesperson she saw for directions. Jose not only gave superb directions, he accompanied us to the dress trousers section and assisted us throughout the entire process. He also helped me complete my ensemble with selected short-sleeve shirts, also on sale. He was the perfect Dillard's rep to help us! We returned to our parked car, which was easy in that the large lot facilitated either close or far (we tend to go far to avoid dings & increase aerobic activity). Friday evening, despite exhaustion, turned out to be an excellent time to go to this mall; I have passed by this mall at other times, especially during the holidays, and have seen a VERY FULL parking lot. I was extremely impressed, and am willing to put my wheel of approval on it! read more

The crowd is horrible, prepare to get run over and bumped into constantly. I'd rather give my right arm than come here on the weekend. Parking is terrible, no one knows what personal space is and the kiosk people are constantly shouting at you to "CHECK THIS OUT!" Walking at a courteous pace with the crowd is unheard of, especially when there are 5 people blocking the entire walkway by walking shoulder to shoulder at a snails pace. read more

Very nice mall, though the food court is lacking. Only places I remember were Taco Bell, Subway, a Thai place, Chick fil-A (closed on Sundays) and a McDonald's. Of course, outside of the mall you have Olive Garden and Hooters, among other places. They have many stores here that aren't at Sunland Park Mall. However, with the larger mall comes two big problems: parking and crowds. Trying to get a decent parking spot here on the weekends is just about impossible. Getting onto Hawkins is a field trip in of itself. Of course, if you are coming from I-10, you are taking some serious chances with the crappy drivers. I think the biggest draw here is the Apple Store. It's always crowded in there. Mall is laid out very well, it's very clean and well lit. Living on the west side, we don't come out here too much except to get a different feel from Sunland Park Mall, which is our preferred mall is it's closer and although smaller, still offers a good way to spend a few hours on the weekend with the wife and kid. A quick walk around the stores and lunch for a few hours to add some excitement to our lives. :-D read more

This mall is so small and it's never alive. I go to the mall to meet people, girls in particular. And it's like every time I go it's hard to find them. They have good shops and I love Macy's I just have been to way better malls. read more

Is overcrowded and a lot of ill mannered people not only working in the stores but as shoppers. I do my best to avoid this mall. Go to the other side of town to Sunland park mall. Not as many stores but a much nicer shopping experience. The Mall itself is pretty clean but some of the stores are just cluttered and under staffed. read more

Decent mall for a mid to large size city. All in doors so no need to battle the weather. The only thing I think is needed is more parking security. People here go shopping and just pull all of their stuff out of boxes and leave the boxes out in the parking lot as trash. read more

The shopping at this joint is great!! There is always a sale somewhere, and the variation in the stores is great! They have everything from a jc penny to a Michael kors, coach, aldo, and the recently added swarovsky crystal shop. The food court offers few choices, but definitely something to please everyones palate. I give this place two thumbs up!! read more

After two years of living here, I can honestly say this is a mall I hate going to. It's always stressful. I feel like no matter how many times I go I'm still always lost in it, lol! Although, I really like that they have a play area for kids... But I don't like that they've changed cleaning day to whatever day they choose versus a consistent schedule. It's disgusting that the management of this store would instruct their employees to capitalize on a pandemic. Although I like Victoria's Secret clothing, I won't be returning to this location. There were so many things wrong with my shopping experience before it even started. First, the hand sanitizer police at he door... They want to force their VS brand sanitizers on you before you enter to shop, hoping to make a sale. Are you kidding me!?! I have a better shopping experience at Walmart where it's OPTIONAL that I use their hand sanitizer before I begin shopping. I told the sales girl, no thank you, I will use my OWN sanitizer, and she hovered over me watching me apply it to my hands before she moved to the side to let me in the store. Then she asked why I was shopping there. I felt like saying "None of your business" because for every customer that entered, she whispered into her little headpiece microphone for someone inside the store to immediately begin stalking that person trying to make a sale based upon what they responded at the door. I don't enjoy being hounded by a sales person! Let me look around by myself, and if I need help, I'll ask. It should be a requirement that all sales people in every store have at least one shopping experience at a high end store like Gucci, where they WELCOME you to the store, step aside, and don't hover over you trying to make a sale. Also, the door police wanted to shove a paper shopping bag into my hands so I could put pending purchases into it while I walked around. I declined. She again tried to shove it at me telling me if I don't use it, I could just throw it away at the end of my tour de store. I told her I don't feel like being wasteful. In a society where most people want to be greener, including me, why would I want to take something, not use it, and then throw it away! One more thing - there were TWO customers in the store when I arrived. TWO. While stores are limiting capacity due to state and local mandates, this location was PURPOSELY not admitting customers into the store to create a long line outside of the store, so others in the mall would wonder what was going on at VS and hopefully be curious enough to wait in that long line and shop there. The manipulation of covid circumstances to try to generate sales was a turn off, pathetic, and aggravating. I hope that if this continues, this location in the Cielo Vista Mall goes out of business, as well as any others who are stooping to low to get sales by manipulating customers. read more

Love the Apple Store and coffee shops. The bathroom map in the department store is wrong there is no bathroom on the third level. Love the Clarks shoe store. Also the new Kirklands outside the mall is nice Shope like bed bath beyond. read more

With the advent of internet shopping and faster shipping times, the idea of malls is sadly going the way of the incandescent lightbulb, it's still alive but slowly declining. Cielo Vista mall is by far the most trafficked mall in El Paso not counting the outlet shops. And I don't particularly count the outlet shops as a traditional mall as most of the shops there are the outlet versions of stores. The shops at Cielo Vista are your typical middle of the road mall shops, you have your Forever 21, Hollister, Banana Republic, Fossil, etc. Of note, the only apple store in El Paso is in Cielo Vista, so making an appointment for any service needed on a apple product is highly recommended. There is a small food court, if you could even call it that. It's more of a grouping of fast food places with their own tables and chairs inside each eating place, unlike a traditional food court with all the seating in a middle court area. Parking is okay on weekdays but gets hectic on weekends, and driving around there can be difficult, especially with the fountains of Farah being located so close by. There's nothing particularly special about Cielo Vista but it will meet all your basic mall needs. read more

Recently i've come to really enjoy this mall because it has been growing over the years. The addition of new stores like fossil have made it the mall to go in El Paso. Even stores like H&M and Vans have opened there. There's definitely always a lot of people and the parking is always hard to find unless you park on the side of the foodcourt. Other than McDonald's and Taco Bell, the foodcourt has other options not available anywhere else like Chik-Fil-A, local Chinese and Japanese restaurants, and Cosimo's Pizza. The Mall as a whole has really good customer service, mainly due to the high amount of traffic there. Everyone is out to sell you something and most of the time they'll get you. I personally enjoy the small retro video game stand, Banana Republic, and the Apple store. Good place to spend some time and even some money. Just expect a lot of people and long lines at the more popular stores. read more

great mall! me and my friends go here almost every weekend. only thing that sucks is that they don't have many stores that teens wanna shop at. all they have is forever21, tillys, pacsun, holister, hot topic, or vans. nothing too exciting. wish we had an adidas or urban outfitters would be so cool. and get rid of the stores that nobody goes in, like cleopatra (a perfume store), or sketchers ( a shoe store) nobody would go to a mall to buy that stuff! i don't know, maybe its just my unpopular opinion. read more

It's a decent mall. Just another typical mall in a city; nothing too spectacular. It has the major stores in the mall so you'll find what you need in this mall. Also, I believe this is the only place where there is an Apple's store so if you are looking for apple products, this is the place to be. read more

I like going to this mall to look around and see what is new, sometimes it gets tiring when stores keep changing places, or moving to different locations. But it is an enjoyable experience. The only thing I will say is eat somewhere else then in the mall, I go in the morning and I always see baby cockroaches running around places, and I am a little worried where they go when it is packed. read more
