Lots of people out and browsing, shopping on this sunny weekend! It's nice to get out post-pandemic and be around people for a pleasant change. New stores to visit at Cielo Vista Mall and explore is always lots of fun. Now, off to the food court!

The mall is located on the East Side of El Paso Right off the I-10 freeway. There is a lot of parking available. The mall is your typical mall with department stores, food court and even has a child play area. The mall has plenty of food and restaurants and hotels close by if your in the area to visit and just want to stop by and walk around and see what it has to offer. They have a lot of stores with all the newest and greatest places to shop and it seems like the hip place to go to when in El Paso. I definitely recommend this place to check out if your in the area and want to sight see and just get some rest from the road from driving like I did and enjoy the beautiful city of El Paso. #ELPASOSTRONG

Best mall in El Paso Texas! Delicious food court and awesome stores! Love the snacks shops and Starbucks.

It's your average mall. They aren't too community friendly. Don't dare let your child try and sell a chocolate or car wash ticket on their property. They will shun your child away. Shopping: eh, it's ok. It has the normal expected stores that most malls have. It's not a high end mall so don't expect to find finer brands in here. No Gucci, no LV, no Hermes. Just normal, plain Jane stores. Macy's seems to be the best place to find cute things. Shoe stores are pretty good. Lots of them in this Mall. Don't expect outstanding customer service. It definitely lacks here in EP. It can get crowded during the holidays and weekends. Try going early in the am when they open. Remember for the holidays they will open super early. Shop then!

Cielo Vista Mall is El Paso's more elegant mall. It's full of name brand stores. JCPenney, Macy's, Sears & Dilliard are the large anchor department stores. Wish the food court add more restaurants. Other than that, it's a great place to shop.

The Original BIG mall in Elp. Has kept up with the times and economy. Mall is still in great shape.

Good mall but needs some better stores! It's okay though, just really wish it was bigger but not much you can do about that.

The mall was nice, but the people in it, including staff were rude. Over crowded and understaffed. Had some good stores though

I will definitely vote coming to this Cielo Vista instead of Sunland Park next time I'm in town!

Yesterday's El Paso Citizen Police Academy had CAP and a Texas Ranger speak to us about crime scene…read moreinvestigations. On my watch list now is Lonesome Dove and on my read list is Empire of the Summer Moon. To be honest with you, since the training is at Safety Town at Bassett around dinner time, I've been disinclined to eat there since the food court has really terrible Asian food, they just give you a lot to make up for it. BUT yesterday I found a hidden gem, literally it's in the far right corner of the food court. I think it's called Mr. C - Snack Shop which is really odd because it has everything from burgers to tortas, to loaded fries. They also have all the agua frescas, and fresh fruits alongside the snacks like elotes and chilindras. This carne asada torta was the bomb. So much flavor, they weren't stingy with the meat and I only got one gristly piece of meat. It's filled with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado salsa. It comes with hand made fries which I normally don't like since they're limp and have skin attached, BUT these fries were covered with cheese sauce! Omg that just brought it to the next level... Best of all, it was around $10 which is a deal for the food court and in these inflationary times. Oh and all the movies at the mall on Tuesday are $5.75 all day! You want a safe place to play for your kiddos that they can climb? There's a kiddie area in the food court and I saw them sanitizing it pretty regularly, alongside the Easter Bunny pics. I admit I never really go to Bassett mall unless there's a big event, like this weekend's Kids Fair, or shop at Costco, but there are still local stores doing their best to survive and we can go and #supportlocal

Since the first time I ever venture to this mall they have done some renovations. They have worked…read moreon a new food court, which is decent. Other than that it's not much going on here. They have a Dave and busters, express, target, few other stores and even a movie theater. The movie theater is the reason I normally come back. Since it's one of the smaller ones I have noticed it's never packed which is really nice! So shopping doesn't get as crazy as it would at the other malls. There are several people mainly seniors that are walking together as a exercising routine. One thing I would caution anyone is that Costco is right close by and their gas station is over by Dave and busters entrance, with that being said be carefully when going in and coming out because the gas station is always packed with cars in line.
