As a born and raised El Pasoan, you can't help but feel a sense of sentiment when you think about Cielo Vista. From the childhood days of exploring the WB Store and Discovery Channel store (yes I'm showing my age), teenage years working at Abercrombie and Hollister, to my 20s buying every damn 1MX shirt at Express for the clubs and bars, this mall was a staple. Situated smack dab in the center of El Paso off of I10, it has still held its ground in the dystopian closures of malls and when the grand structures of what once held down America are becoming few and in-between. This mall is still running strong and I have to say that free parking at this mall is such a blessing. It's a tad surreal how you get used to paying for parking to shop in other cities, so it's refreshing lol. Yes some stores might not be ideal and someone is bound to offer you a "free sample" in a kiosk, but it's a fun place to experience time to time. read more

The mall is nice just watch out for the kiosk people! The ones on the second floor across from vans. (Face creams) they will literally keep you there for a hour and when you try to tell them no they'll get the manager and he's talk to you like ur dumb but still try to sell you stuff for $700. Also don't go to the michuacana there by auntie Anne's I got food poisoning from the corn, they don't even make them right and are rude! She put a tip for her and didn't even let me see the screen or get me a chance to ask for the receipt! All the other stores are good I should have just gone to verde salad ....then security is on their own power trips on those stupid looking scooters almost ran my kid over telling me I should get out of the way?? WE WERE ON THE SIDE OF THE WALL he had so much space I asked for his manager he claimed he "was the manager" and can get me banned... ya okay anyways it gets hella packed after school and people in the parking lot act like they've never driven a car before, people inside try to bully you out of the way, or just walk infront of you with no "excuse me" they bump you. The mall is located on the East Side of El Paso Right off the I-10 freeway. There is a lot of parking available. The mall is your typical mall with department stores, food court and even has a child play area. The mall has plenty of food and restaurants and hotels close by if your in the area to visit and just want to stop by and walk around and see what it has to offer. They have a lot of stores with all the newest and greatest places to shop and it seems like the hip place to go to when in El Paso. I definitely recommend this place to check out if your in the area and want to sight see and just get some rest from the road from driving like I did and enjoy the beautiful city of El Paso. #ELPASOSTRONG read more

It's a neat mall with your average department stores like Sears, Macy's, JC Penny, Dillards, Hallmark, GNC, jewelry stores etc. I'm pretty sure malls are becoming things of the past. The food court isn't bad, variety of stuff. They have a decent kids play area for 1-4 year olds. Few other decent things for kids also. It's relatively clean, has a safe feel to it. read more

Nice mall, but honestly a confusing layout. There's tons of stores jammed in the mall, and I felt a bit packed in like a sardine with the people, venders and just the closeness of everything. I guess quinceaneras at the mall is a thing now? So many girls in these elaborate dresses. First time I've seen such a thing at a mall. Maybe there's a fancy restaurant and I just did see it? Went in to buy some fresh things for the night out and successfully did so. Parking can be a headache cause there's tons of cats but you'll find one even if you have to walk a bit. read more

Actual center a good comfortable place..My review is of the so called *Food Court* Eh, there ain,t really one at all. A very small selection on a weird out of the way alley way walk way..Of the like 6 shops there, on a Friday lunch, only 3 or so open at lunch time(Noon) Of course the prices are high but understandable for a upscale mall, so that is NO gripe.Its the weid selection of actual places to eat, and the open and or closed at lunch quite unprofessional We ate at that pizza joint,, Sbarros, got a good entrees at afair ptice, but they did not have everything ready, just weird as heck read more

This is another run in the mill mall. Nothing extravagant at all. Dillard's, Forever 21, Foot Locker, H&M, Game stop and so many more basic stores. They have a food court as well but agIn it's very basic. It's a decent mall with very basic stores, and a great size. Haven't ever had any problems here. Cielo Vista Mall is probably the largest and oldest mall in El Paso. So many stores and restaurants have come and gone from here throughout the years. I'll never forget Wyatt's Cafeteria, Chopsticks or Walgreens. Walgreens even had a restaurant inside of it. Chopsticks is sort of still around. The owners own Paco Wong's on the westside. Chopsticks always had better food and service. Paco Wong's is pretty mediocre in food and service imo. I went a few years ago for my birthday and I wasn't impressed. Anyway...These are ancient times that I speak of! These restaurants existed in the early 80's and 90's. Oh...and I remember leaving school early and catching a Sun Metro bus to Cielo Vista with my friends at times...circa 7th or 8th grade. 9th grade too! Those were the days! Lol. My mom still doesn't know this a couple of decades later. Shh! I might tell her one of these days. I always enjoyed coming with my grandmother to this mall, too. We always went to Wyatt's to have lunch and split a strawberry shortcake. Aww such great memories! Oh yeah and there was also a movie theater inside of the mall, along with the one that's still outside. There was also bookstores. I think a B Dalton and I forget what else. I don't come to this mall too often these days. I went a few months back to Macy's. I returned some items for my son. Every once in awhile I'll check out Michael Kors and/or Coach. This mall is probably the busiest compared to others around town. Parking is hard to find, especially on weekends. This mall also has Starbucks, Apple, Dillards and more. It's two stories. read more

It's your average mall. They aren't too community friendly. Don't dare let your child try and sell a chocolate or car wash ticket on their property. They will shun your child away. Shopping: eh, it's ok. It has the normal expected stores that most malls have. It's not a high end mall so don't expect to find finer brands in here. No Gucci, no LV, no Hermes. Just normal, plain Jane stores. Macy's seems to be the best place to find cute things. Shoe stores are pretty good. Lots of them in this Mall. Don't expect outstanding customer service. It definitely lacks here in EP. It can get crowded during the holidays and weekends. Try going early in the am when they open. Remember for the holidays they will open super early. Why does El Paso only have one mall?!!! Ugh avoid coming to this mall on the weekends!!! YOU WILL NOT FIND ANY PARKING. People literally park alongside the roads and wherever they can find a spot. Finding a parking spot on the weekends can literally take more then 20 minutes. They do have security driving around the premises but I have seen people bump into parked cars and they have just driven away, so beware. Come during the weekdays as it is parking galore. There are tons of stores in this mall so you can find everything your looking for here. There are no high end stores but you will find your typical stores that are in every other mall. The inside is just as bad as the parking situation on the weekends. People come in huge crowds and they DO NOT KNOW HOW TO WALK. They stop midway and if your not paying attention you will run into them. There are no "excuse me's" here and if you do say it you get looked at weirdly. Crowds are huge and don't even think about visiting the food court on weekends. You will NOT find a table anywhere and lines are ridiculous. Avoid this mall on the weekends and be warned that I've seen a handful of people come dressed thinking this was the strip club. Are those shorts or underwear? Gross. El Paso needs another mall. read more

Out of all the malls in El Paso, this is definitely the better one to come to if you want a good variety of stores. Some of my families favorite stores here are: Build-A-Bear, Boxlunch, Sephora, and Lush! They also have a great food court with restaurants such as: chic-fil-a, McDonald's, Taco Bell, a pizza place, a cheese steak place, and a few others! If you want a good mall that you can spend hours in, this is your place to go! read more

Very nice mall! Very clean and always have events going on for the public. They have great stores and offer something for everyone, decent food choices. They seem to always try to offer the most popular stores. The mall security is friendly and the mall staff and kind too. I always feel safe and comfortable walking around the mall. I only wish they did not change their opening time to almost noon during the week. read more

This mall is pretty sizable for this size city. The only drawback is the parking- wow it is always packed! I ask myself sometimes if anyone works in El Paso, or did they all take vacation when I did and hit the mall? It has all the major stores, and a few very good retailers like MK, but it killed me when Coach left. They had beautiful leather goods and the prestige line of Coach bags. Yes, I did buy two purses- not in the same year, but I constantly get compliments on them. I wish they would come back. I agree with some of the other reviewers and feel a nice restaurant in the mall would be a plus. read more

Cielo Vista Mall is El Paso's more elegant mall. It's full of name brand stores. JCPenney, Macy's, Sears & Dilliard are the large anchor department stores. Wish the food court add more restaurants. Other than that, it's a great place to shop. read more

You remember the late 80's, early 90's when malls were the place to be seen? When Tiffany was on that mall tour singing her little heart out (I wasn't alive yet, but I've seen the videos...just reminisce with me, will ya?) And that one jerk almost dropped Brittany Murphy off the wall in Clueless? Those were the days. Luckily you can relieve all that magic right here at Cielo Vista Mall (minus the whole toying with peoples lives thing and famous singers doing mall tours)!!! What can you say? This is the mall preference of many...myself included. It has a majority of the stores you want to see in a mall (no H&M though, what's up with that?) like American Eagle, Forever21, Agaci, Express, Banana Republic, and other stores too numerous to mention (I think I've used that line in a review before. go green. recycle.). There is a Apple store in CVM for you iPhone, iPod, iPad loving freaks like me. And every once in a while a new store is added, my newest find is Tilly's. The food court is less than impressive, but it get's the job done. Options are McDonalds, Subway, Cinnabon, Chick-fil-a, Philly Roadhouse and a few others. I'd just like to see a real sit down restaurant at CVM with gourmet food, but maybe I'm asking for too much. CVM does get pretty packed during the weekends and forget about parking (just pick a person that's walking out of the mall and creepily follow them 'til they make it to their car), but during the week it's not too bad if you go before 5. CVM does tend to have a lot of fashion-esk type events which is occasionally fun to watch. They usually give away free things at their events and like some chick on Bad Girls Club said, "If it's FREE, it's for me!" read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! This mall is the nicest one in El Paso. It's clean and has every shop you need. A lot of shops offer military discounts; usually they have a sign says 'military discount' at the cashier but some shops don't. You might wanna ask before you check out. When I bought a car right after I moved here, I asked the sales person where I should go for sightseeing and he told me "Cielo Vista Mall" lol so even local people believe this is the nicest mall and somewhere they recommend you to go when you visit El Paso. read more

It's honestly got everything you need. I know I usually write pretty lengthy reviews but I mean, if you don't know what's in a mall then you probably won't be coming here anyways. It's got all the usual suspects: Foot locker Finish line Victoria secret Bath and body works Macy's Jc penny's Dillard's Zumies Journeys Abercrombie Forever 21 Hollister Full food court Zales Gordon's H&M Tons of kiosk style places offering everything from cell phones to back rubs Clarks LIDS GameStop Sears Apex Icing Coach And a number of health stores and clothing stores and jewelry and nails and on and on and on. It's really a decent sized mall and as I lead with, it's got everything you need.... Including quiceneras lol... Of which there were 3 today here. But even that's cool as you get to see young men and young ladies dressed so well, as opposed to like little Wayne impersonators lol. But as it is... It's a solid mall, not filthy, not UNsafe... It can get very crowded though, especially on pay day weekends. If you want something newer and more specific, the Fountains shopping center is literally next door. Very large mall, in the right area! El paso is a trending spot, and having this mall helps provide some things to do whether it be in the summer or just in the general area as its still developing. It's a standard mall meant for the middle class...hence, a good mall for all! It has stores like Forever 21, Bakers, Papaya, Things Remembered, Victoria Secret, Dillards, etc. But also has high-end stores like Cache, Guess, Aldo, etc. Overall, this place has a really good set of stores for the average customer. A big plus is that it will be connected to the new high-end mall , the Fountains, on 2013!! Can't wait! A huge minus about this place is the format of the mall. The way this mall was structure is HORRIBLE...meaning, customer inconvenient. The mall is a maze!!! You def need the directory to guide you if you're a newcomer. Additionally, they need an H&M!! Such a good store to compete with Forever 21 that can be for older adults but still fashionably young and have bigger sizes (and yes I consider this being a tiny girl...Gotta look out for all my ladies!). Hence, three stars for having a great selection but poor mall layout. read more

I'm in town 3-4 days a week for work and finally ventured out to the local mall. It's El Paso, I wasn't expecting much, I anticipated a run down mall with a lot of empty stores. But, I was happy to say this mall is pretty good, especially given the area (no offense to you locals). But, word of advice. There are two Dilliard's so when you park at one, don't freak out when you can't find your car at the other one. read more

Cielo Vista Mall isn't the greatest mall I've ever been to but considering that El Paso only has 3 malls (basset, cielo and sunland but not including the outlet mall) it is sadly the best mall in El Paso. This mall has everything you would expect a mall to have but the food court has nothing interesting in it at all and the spacing is terrible. Because it is the better mall of the 3 in El Paso, everyone goes there. No matter the time of day you'll always find middle school and high school kids parading through the halls of this mall in a rude and thunderous manner with no regard for anyone but themselves. And yes, I say any time of the day because plenty of kids here ditch school. The amount of people that frequent this mall also makes parking a disaster and if there is ever a sale somewhere you'll always find the area over picked and left in shambles. El Paso seems to be stuck in the 90s where malls were the "to go" place to hang out. But with no theater attached (as the cinemark cielo vista theater is a completely separate building) and no arcade or interesting stores, I don't understand why these kids, with no money in the first place, always default to showing up to the mall just so that they can walk around. Anyway. You should definitely check out the other two malls but you'll probably end up going to this one more than once. If you do go, try to go during the morning because after 5pm this place gets packed. Oh and in true El Paso fashion, this mall closes at 6pm on Sundays. (We're lucky its open at all on a Sunday really). Yeah I know, most malls close at 6pm in certain areas, but I've seen malls in major cities (like El Paso) stay open much later. read more

3 1/2 Stars. I haven't been to this mall for several years. When I'm in town, my bf's mom usually takes us to Sunland Park Mall. I don't know if it's b/c I'm used to that mall, or perhaps they added a lot of stores to this mall....but I was impressed! It's no Mall of America, or Beverly Center, but not too shabby! Despite being a little crowded this mall has everything that I like: Forever 21, Bath & Body Works, and a GAP! Of course, the list goes on... The food court is decent with Thai Food, Chinese, American, Pizza, Chickfila and even the good ol' McDonald's! My Plain & Simple Tip: Arrive right when the mall opens up so you'll get a good parking spot and to avoid the crowd. read more

Ever since I can remember I have been in love with Cielo Vista Mall. I am one of those people that destresses just by taking a walk and looking at stuff. Except for holidays and most weekends, it's a good place to visit, although I wish they had different stores I have seen at other Simon properties. The stores I swing by the most are Macy's, Old Navy, Sephora, Aldo, Express, Bath and Body Works and Forever21. The only thing I don't like is kiosk people approaching you to buy perfume knockoffs and massage devices... I understand they are trying to make a sale but I think, like most people, if I want something, I'll come to you. Following me around and pressuring me will get you nowhere. The mall is clean and well decorated so yeah, the positives outweigh the negatives for me (much better than the recently opened Fountains lol) Bring in better stores! People in El Paso can afford it, and if not, they'll find a way. There is money here, even if people insist on bringing "affordable" (aka cheap) stores/ brands. read more

If you miss steakpedos head over to sunland but this is better than the last place, which I'm assuming changed names or owners Today and usually I have the Polermo Pizza and the wife has the Tatanka which are both our favorites. I like cielo vista mall, i know everyone complains about how outdated it is, but i don't, this place is just about the right size. You can easily spend hours looking at clothing, and than if you get hungry just walk to the food curt. In the food curt you have your pick of subs, Chinese food, or light snacks. My main issue with this mall is the parking, during the weekend it's damn near impossible to find parking, that said just go during the week and you'll be fine. read more
