I purchased 2 tickets ($105 total) to RR to/from the Origin Hotel, only to then have a friend offer to join us and be our DD a day later. I tried to cancel over 48 hours in advance, and they wouldn't budge. My purchase didn't prevent anyone else from booking (I checked, it wasn't sold out), they're just a bunch of greedy a-holes who refuse to give cancellations. My girlfriend & I flew into Denver for our first Red Rocks concert and during my ticket purchase, I was given the option to book a shuttle - which I did. Not knowing Denver, I randomly picked the Illegal Pete's - Colfax location. Let me just say, that location is in a part of town that is BEYOND SKETCHY! And what made it worse, Illegal Pete's was closed that day. Not knowing that, we arrived early (via Uber) to have dinner there. When I asked the CID rep about food he glanced up and said "plenty of places around here". NOT TRUE!! Across the street was Pete's Diner which was really the only safe option to walk to. While we eat we watched numerous drug deals happening in the 7-11 parking lot across the street. We were also promised drink specials at Illegal Pete's but that was the least of our concerns. The shuttle bus itself is very nice and the drop off/pick up at Red Rocks worked out great. So I'm taking away 2 stars for having folks go to such a bad part of town. Extremely disappointed by my experience with this company. For some odd reason we had to make an extra stop at the Thirsty Lion to pick up passengers on our way to the show which resulted in our arriving late and we missed virtually all of the openers set which I was really irritated by since it was part of the reason I even bought the show ticket. When I emailed to let them know how upset I was I received a "sorry" with absolutely no offer for a refund or even a discount on a future ride. I will never use this service again and will be sure to let friends know that they are better off using another shuttle service or driving themselves if they want to catch the full show. If they're going to charge people $50 (which is an outlandish fee considering you can park at RR for free), the least they can do is make sure that people are able to experience the entire show they paid for. read more

I utilized the CID shuttle for transportation to Red Rocks to see Anderson East and the Revivalists. 5 star service for me! I emailed them early on when I bought my shuttle pass about where to catch the shuttle and they emailed me back in a couple of days with complete information. And as promised I did receive an informational email the week of the concert. The check in was super easy at thirsty lion with a clearly identified table out front. The check in guy was super friendly and gave the entire scoop on busses and departure time. He even pointed out the nearest liquor store if I wanted to grab a couple of beverages for the bus trip! We received instructions when we boarded and once we go to the venue. The pickup place was clearly identified as well as when they were leaving. The busses were nice and clean. Not your typical school bus shuttle! Would def use them again!!! Can't wait to come back and see another concert!! read more

My group of friends and I (some of which were from out of town and came in just for this concert) wanted to have a reliable/safe ride to Red Rocks. Our bus was overbooked and my group was left without a ride. We all remained calm and understood this happens. We were told by multiple employees that we would be refunded our tickets and were told to call Uber's and we would also be reimbursed. This was during prime time rush hour. Our Uber's were around $140 per car. We had to email them 5 times over the next week before even a response. I was so nervous about booking with them due to previous reviews. I was staying in Downtown Denver without a car so I decided to take a chance and it was a really smooth experience. I booked directly on their website. Rode with them on 6/20 for Bleachers. Check-in at the table outside Thirsty Lion was really straightforward (I showed up about 20 minutes before the stated departure time.) There were at least 3 shuttles and they departed as they filled up. (So check-in earlier if you want to get to Red Rocks earlier.) Very nice and safe drivers both ways. Driver for Red Rocks concert bus to Slightly Stoopid was rude, telling people that he would kick us off the bus if we were too intoxicated or unable to "perform life saving procedures" . Don't we take a party bus so we can have fun and not drive!? Hitler if he were a bus driver. Also told us he would kick us off the bus if we smoked or vaped. Worst experience. I would NEVER use CID again. I would not trust them at all. They are a theiving organisation which I will be fighting with for a while I'm sure. I bought their shuttle passes with tickets for my wife and daughter to go to Luke Combs. Nothing whatever from them, a few days before the concert with no idea how to use the shuttle, I got on chat and eventually, after harassing someone for the better part of an hour they texted me a screenshot of the shuttle locations and times... It also say to contact them for passenger changes. I called the number to contact them, as I was not going, but the tickets were bought by me. After an hour waiting to talk with someone, I was told that they did not have to change the name on the reservation, I should make a copy on my driver's license and write a note listing the passengers using my seats. When my wife and daughter got there, wicked early, they were denied, they would not accept the note, and said it was too late for me to change the names. I never planned to go, I was just the one buying them tickets. They then had to drive to the venue, deal with parking, etc I expect a full refund for the seats they refused. read more

We were left stranded at Illegal Pete's prior to a show at red rocks because they "over sold" the bus by roughly 12 seats. My wife and I took the shuttle from Illegal Pete's Colfax to the JRAD show at 1st Bank Arena (which was unfortunately relocated from Red Rocks at the last minute, due to inclement weather). Everything seemed fairly well organized at the check-in. We were told that Pete's would give us a free beer if we bought a burrito (good stuff) and also given a business card with the phone # to the local concierge, just in case we ran into any issues while on our trip. We didn't, but it was nice to have a contact number just in case. The bus left on time (on the way there, and on the way back) and the driver, Raymond, was very nice and helpful. He actually seemed to know how to competently drive a bus as well, which is not always the case with bus drivers. This was totally worth the $35, in my opinion. You could eat and drink on the bus, and not have to worry about driving home intoxicated and/or exhausted. I live in Michigan, but if I actually lived in Denver/Boulder within a short walk/Uber of one of the departure points, I would probably utilizes these CID buses on the regular. I could not be more disappointed in this company. While I'm fully aware of their refund policy, I guess I expected too much when I emailed and asked for a refund for 2 shuttle tickets to the Wu Tang show on Halloween night. I explained to "Mia" that due to a recent cancer diagnosis for our family dog, we would not be making the trip from Maryland. The vet informed us he would not make it past October, thus us cancelling and wanting to spend every minute with him instead of taking a trip without him. We successfully had our airfare refunded from Southwest, even though we purchased "non-refundable" tickets. Good on Southwest for the above-and-beyond customer service. CID Colorado? Not so much. Customer Service Rep "Mia", without even mentioning any well-wishes for my pup, merely reminded me of the refund policy via email. CID Colorado's lack of empathy, compassion and understanding, all for $80!, is pretty disgusting. While we do have plans to visit Colorado in a few months, I can assure you whatever we do will not involve CID Colorado. It's amazing that companies in 2019 still don't understand customer service. Purchased four shuttle tickets for Ween @ Red Rocks on 6/6 - $40/each. Was mention of food/drink included (in my mind - booze and warm food, sounds awesome, right? - more on this later). Check-in service and email communication up to departure were fine, then we get on the bus..... 2 miles from Red Rocks, bus begins to stutter and lose power. Bus parks on side of interstate, and there we sit, and sit, and sit - with Zero communication from the driver. 25 minutes later, bus sparks back to life, and we make it the rest of the trek to the Southern most parking lot, where we now must race to get in line, cause we late! **If it hadn't been for the freak thunderstorm delay, we would have missed the beginning of the show - and just forget about a good seat by this point too.... Then the return trip.... [sad trombone] Before getting on the bus, it is revealed what was meant by "food and drinks"... sitting next to the bus is a box of Kind bars and a case of tepid bottled water. Would've been nice to have that water before the show. You know, when we had to run to get in line, since we were so late, and you parked at the furthest point possible from the entrance? I'm pretty sure CID doesn't own the buses, so I get it - stuff like this happens, it's the mountains, bad vendor choice, etc... But, you took my money, and I don't think it was worth $160 for four people to be late for the show and provided a water and candy bar (seemed more like a "f you" gesture). TO THOSE CONSIDERING: If there's less than three of you looking for transport to Red Rocks - this might be worth it. Three or more, call a car service, order some food and drinks (or a Kind Bar), have them drop you off next to an actual entrance, and save some money. I have been emailing them for weeks you can't get through when you call. This is a total scam unprofessional with how they treat people. Luckily CID was at the bar we were at and offered us all the help they could give from finding us seats on the bus to offering to pay for an Uber so we could make It to the show. I'm SO happy this service is available. And they killed it every step of the way. I called a few hours prior because my plans were changing and I had a bunch of questions, these guys were SO helpful to go out of their way and reassure me, I even got the cell number for the staff member that will be on site/at the shuttle so I can check in if anything else changed. There are a LOT of shuttles lined up after the show lets out. Since I didn't ride the shuttle to Red Rocks, I was scrambling, running between all of the buses to ask and find the right one. But they were friendly, had Kind bars and water bottles waiting, it was such a relief. $35 is a great price when you're Red Rocks-ing solo, would've paid double that amount for a Lyft, easily. And I doubt they'd have snacks or play killer tunes. read more

My sister and I went to Red Rocks using the CID Colorado Shuttles since it seems reliable. We are tourists from California, so it seemed like a great idea. After the event finished, the staff directed us out of the venue. Along the way I did not recognize a single thing so I kept questioning staff where the lot with the CID Shuttles was as I pointed to my wristband. I asked about three to four staff members. They kept directing us out with the crowd and one even said "If you keep going you will reach a lot with shuttles." By the time we reach this lot and ask every bus driver I discover that it is not the correct lot with our shuttles. It is now getting near 30 minutes since the event finished so by the time I run to the correct lot it'll be too late anyways. My sister and I are now frightened of the idea of being stranded in Red Rocks since getting a Lyft felt nearly impossible and men kept approaching us offering us rides. I am fortunate to have gotten a Lyft hours later but this night could have resulted even more tragically. As tourists, we visit Denver, Colorado for the Red Rock Amphitheatre. After this experience I wouldn't recommend the CID Colorado Shuttle to anyone if it means possibly missing them due to ill informed staff and the lack of signage. It ruins a tourist's visit in Denver entirely after a fearful night of possibly being stranded in the wilderness or taken by a stranger. I have been to a numerous amount of events in my lifetime and every event has had signage at the very least of where the shuttles are and knowledgeable staff. I understand that I may have encountered the venue's staff but when contacting CID's Colorado since it is ultimately the service I paid for, they told me how a partial refund was unlikely. I did not request for a full refund but at the very least a partial one since I only received half the service. If I were drunk and missed that 30 minute time slot I would take accountability but it is not the case and I did not miss the shuttle willingly. read more

My group and I had a good experience with CID Colorado. The buses are better than the ones that they use for Bus to Show. With your ticket, you get a free appetizer at Thirsty Lion at Union Station (you get to choose from about 8 preset menu options that one of the employees hands you when you check in). They did lock the bathroom on the bus on the ride out to Red Rocks which I thought was a little weird but it was open on the way back to Union Station. Booked a round-trip shuttle for Bill Burr at Red Rocks. The shuttle to the show was as-advertised. It left on time from Union Station and didn't make any stops. It was a little more expensive than other shuttles I've used before for shows at Red Rocks, but I chalked it up to them picking up in the North Lot after the show (5-min walk from entrance) rather than the South Lot which is a 20 minute walk. On the ride home, we all expected to be brought straight back to Union Station from Red Rocks, but the bus began driving east on 6th Ave. After it was clear we had been driving 5-10 minutes in a direction away from Union Station, my girlfriend walked to the front of the bus and asked the driver where we were going. As I started getting vocal from a row about halfway to the back of the bus, several people joined in asking "WHERE ARE WE GOING?!" Finally, someone made an announcement over the speaker that the bus would be making a stop at illegal Pete's. Then we had to yell "WHICH ONE?" at which point someone announced that two people out of the group of several dozen paying customers requested a special stop at IP's Colfax location. In the end, we got home safe, but it was unprofessional and a little unnerving that the bus planned to make an unscheduled stop prior to Union station and the driver/bus company did not feel the need to communicate this to any of the other paying customers. Also, if you want to make a special stop for two people, it could've been done AFTER the scheduled route to Union Station and no one would have even known about it. My girlfriend emailed customer service a few days ago and we look forward to their response to our issues on the ride home. Took CID Shuttle to Rufus du Sol on 10/2. AMAZING. How have I lived in Denver all my life, gone to countless Red Rocks shows, and never used this service?!? It was fun and relaxing, a wonderful stress free way to enjoy a show without enduring the hassles of getting to and from the venue (which is such a pain!) Worth the cost for sure! Shuttle was clean and comfortable. So nice to have bottles of water waiting for you after a show! The man checking people in at Illegal Pete's on 10/2 (sorry don't know his name) was AWESOME - friendly and helpful. But the driver (Sandy!) takes the cake. She was amazing - a real BOSS lady! The sweetest but also totally a bad @ss. Loved her! Sorry for the lack of tip, Sandy, we had no cash - otherwise would have loved to have tipped just to say thanks for being awesome. I don't require much of my ticketing services to get a good review. What will definitely earn a 1 star review is letting me purchase shuttle tickets to an event more than a week in advance and then cancelling those tickets late the night before the event. Even worse, there was no explanation for why the tickets were cancelled so I had to call both CID and Eventbrite to be told that neither organization had a record of my tickets, and then found out through a Facebook event page that what had happened was that CID and Eventbrite oversold the shuttle tickets resulting in 12 unlucky customers getting same day refunds. Absolutely horrendous customer service, no record keeping, and no concern for customers and the contract between the ticket holder and customer. Now we likely need to force someone to be an unexpected designated driver or pay over 100$ in Uber or Lyft when we should have had our logistics completely handled a week and a half in advance. This is absolutely unacceptable for any concert or shuttle ticketing service and I recommend that no one purchase tickets through either CID or Eventbrite if you actually want to attend your concert or event. read more

I called and CID employee confirmed "6:30 was a typo on the internet--CID Colorado Shuttle's error". Given I was flying in for concert, I did not make the 5:30 shuttle and had to pay for a Lyft. After the show, had a very difficult time finding the right shuttle to get back to downtown. Shuttle driver less than helpful. I recently traveled to Denver for Jerry's 75th birthday show at Red Rocks. CID was fabulous! This is a well-oiled machine! From the moment I booked my seat on the bus online, to the pick-up at the Thirsty Lion and then the pick-up after the show was all seamless! Loved the bottle of water and kind bar at the end of the show as we boarded the bus. This is a great service and I highly recommend it if you are going to see a show at Red Rocks! I rode the CID Shuttle bus for the first time to JRAD and had the best experience! I have taken a few of the other shuttle buses and while they were fun, I had loud horrible techno music blasting in my ears and had someone sitting on my lap the whole way. The CID shuttles are a much nicer and cleaner way to get to shows. While I don't like leaving 3 hours prior to show start time, it does avoid missing any music. At the end of the show they give you a water and a kind bar to nourish yourself after dancing for hours. PLUS, my drunk ass left my license on the bus and the next day CID called me telling me the bus driver found it on the bus and returned in. A++ read more
