The Service was amazing I tried Caseoh's Mac and cheese pizza. Their pasta and desserts were great. And they had kid shows playing on tv's.

I hadn't eaten at Cicis Pizza in several years because we all know it isn't the greatest. But, it is supposed to be cheap and there really aren't too many pizza buffets in Topeka nowadays. So, I had been craving a pizza buffet and was on that side of town. So, I thought what the heck. It will be cheap and I can get my pizza craving out. I was initially shocked that it was not cheap at all. For a buffet with a drink, it was over $14. Then half the lettuce on my salad plate was old amd wilted. Same with the cucumbers. The ranch dressing was watery and flavorless. So, the salad bar was a complete fail. The pizza was also terrible . Honestly, a Red Barron or Tony's frozen pizza is better than what they serve here. First off, the woman at the register needs to get a personality. She shouldn't be the first person the customer meets. I said 2 adult buffets and 1 child. Before I could say anything about drinks she gave me the total and put 3 paper cups out on the counter. I figured, oh the drinks must come with the buffet. I had planned to just get water for the adults and 1 soda for the child. Well, the drinks are NOT included, there was a charge of $1.99 for each drink, which is cheaper than most places, but she should not automatically assume that everyone wants to drink and pay for a soda. I sat there and watched her do the same thing to everyone that came in. One woman questioned her about the drinks and told her that she hadn't ordered drinks and wanted her to adjust the ticket. Alfredo and the Cici's team killed it last night. Albeit pre-arranged, we rolled in with 75 people (a high school football team and coaches) after the state championship game and Cici's had everything ready to go, kept the buffet line stocked with a great variety of pasta, pizza and dessert and was quick to clean up as the boys reloaded plates. Their preparedness made for a quick and efficient process for the boys and great turn time for the team to get on the road. It was very reasonably priced and a great value for what we got. We were told that store doesn't take the text club coupon, that they do their own deals everyday. When I asked what the deal of the day was he stumbled and said well we don't have one today. And there was advertisements all over the store for the text club. So getting past that we took the 6 kids in and was disappointed again at the pizza variety. When asked if a cheese pizza would be out soon the guy said yeah 2 min, so when I went back up to get some (3 kids only eat cheese) he just stared at me and finally after a few min asked what I needed..... I said the cheese pizza. He looked at the pizza waiting to be cut & then carried on with what he was doing. After staring him down he finally cut the pizza. I worked in a pizza restaurant for 15 years and no matter what you stop and take care of the customer even if it's just to respond to them don't leave them standing there. It's Cicis and if you've ever been to one of their establishments you'll know what I mean but that phrase. It's not great. I mean it's pizza it's kind of hard to screw up that so that's all fine. But the staff here is awful. Won't clean up your plates for a LONG time. Also whoever is supposed to clean the restrooms must be dead because they are just atrocious most is the time. This place is dead awful the noodles were very slimy the pizza selection wasn't good at all they were all cheese pizza. The brownies didn't taste cooked fully.
