Honestly the 5 stars was won due to the outstanding service of every single employee working this Thursday night. Absolutely blown away as each employee was so kind and careful. They all had smiles through the entire shift and looked happy to be there.Especially have to be sure to mention Hugo who was Extremely Genuine and Passionate about working there. He carried out service impeccably and made sure everyone was having a good time, something you don't even receive in the fanciest 5 stars restaurants . We used to love Cicis. It has been a staple for my kids and me for years. Whenever we were hungry and couldn't decide what to eat, this was always our go-to spot. Unfortunately, our recent visit was a total disappointment. The buffet completely ran out of pizza, and while I understand it is hard to keep up during busy hours, many staff members were just standing around while only a few tried their best to fix the issue. I can see the appeal in an all you can eat pizza joint, but Cicis isn't it. Upon arrival, you pay for how many guests you have and then you can sit anywhere. They have a "buffet line" of about 7-9 pizza and then 2-3 desserts at the end. The pizzas weren't that great tasting. I tried a few, but the only one that was actually good was the plain pepperoni and cheese pizza. This establishment seems to cater towards kids and families and has a small arcade for them to play at. Not sure what prompted me to try this place but won't be back. This is by far the best location of Cici's in all of San Antonio. My son and become regulars at this location because of Xander. Xander always greeted us with a smile and remembered our order and got it the oven as soon as we walked in. Couldn't ask for a better experience anywhere. I gave two stars because I absolutely love Cici's pizza, and overall they're a great chain. However, I was super disappointed in this location. Pros: lots of seating and overall the cleanliness was spot on considering how busy they were for a Friday evening. The game room was reasonably sized, games all worked well, and prizes weren't crap. Service was nice, can't complain. HOWEVER. That selection was so small, and I'm shocked at how under-prepared they were for the size of the crowd. I felt like I was getting scraps, and had to keep an eye out on the fresh pizzas. The wait time to order custom pizza was 25-35 minutes and if the wait gets to that point, you might as well let me gown up and make what kind of pizza I want. Makes no sense! I was disappointed and probably won't go back to this location. I enjoy the other location in San Antonio. Kudos to the staff though who were cleaning. My two stars go to them for being rock stars. Kids were bummed there wasn't any apple pizza but that didn't stop them from snarfing up brownies and mini cinnamon rolls. We like that there are sauces for dipping too bc my kids actually like the crust! Tables were kept clean. Floor was mostly clean considering the high volume of dinner traffic. These folks are working hard to take care of pizza lovers during Covid. They have all the safety precautions in place and now serve the pizza like a cafeteria instead of a regular buffet. It's great, you get everything you want and they handle all the food. All the crew wear gloves and PROPERLY wear their masks. The cinnamon rolls are a must try!!! read more

Was sitting here eating. A man walks right behind a family paying holding a used drink cup. Goes directly to to the drink stand, pours a drink and comes back to sit down with a plate full of food. You fill it out and hand it to a server and they give you a table number. I had 4 slices of deep dish meat lovers and it was really good. Great customer service! I came in with friends and we all got the buffet. While there the manager gave suggestions and made conversation. It came up that my favorite pizza was the chicken bacon flatbread which was missing from the buffet. He explained they were making room for the special stuffed crust pizzas and agreed that the bacon chicken was excellent. Later he brought a few slices of the pizza I'd mentioned to me at the table!
