TD Canada Trust Branch - Branch

    TD Canada Trust Branch

Tip: This branch has no drive-thru ATM…read more When I was an undergraduate student at York University, I was able to apply for a York University TD Visa card. The credit card's limit was low (it was either $300 or $500 initially), but it was my first credit card and I felt like I was an adult! To make a payment on my credit card, I had to visit a TD branch to pay with the help of a teller. It was before telephone banking came into the picture. After class, I would walk over to the TD branch that used to be on the southeast corner of Keele Street and Steeles Avenue West. This branch's old location shuttered years ago. It seems to have been under construction for that length of time ever since. I don't have a clue what's going on. This TD Canada Trust branch opened diagonally across the intersection, on the northwest corner. It looks impressive when you approach it. This branch houses three service divisions in one: - TD Canada Trust - TD Commercial Banking - TD Wealth If you are doing regular banking, this branch does not have a drive-thru. There is plenty of parking around the building and a ramp for those who require a ramp to enter. There are two Green Machine ATMs in the branch, in the lobby area. It's spacious. I do not have any TD products anymore. The relationship between York University and TD was dissolved. I ended up cancelling my credit card, but it helped me establish credit and strengthen my credit history. I pass by this branch often when I am taking backroads home after work. I see both the old and new branches, which makes me both nostalgic and optimistic, respectively. (128)

being the new BMO on the block im sure is not easy, from the stand point of not being overly busy…read morelike other "cemented" locations in the area. this location boasts a decent amount of parking, and really decent service in comparison to other BMO's in Toronto. I was very happy to add this location onto the yelp pages to spread the word of how nice everyone is at this location, even if I'm not happy with Bmo these days. in and out quick service makes a huge world of difference when visiting here on you're lunch hour. I also like that this location doesn't make the experience awkward with additional questions during or after the transaction. just here for my money please...and thank you. don't bother going to any other location, come to this one!

0 if I could. This branch has gone more downhill than a sheer cliff drop…read more My husband tried to pay our property tax bill in early February. He brought the paper bill, presented it to the teller and asked for it to be paid. They took an old roll number from a condo he sold 14 years ago and paid that instead. I called the city because I wanted to make sure my automatic withdrawals were stopped. They checked the tax account while they were at it and advised they hadn't received the branch payment. My husband goes back to the branch the following week and asks them to fix the problem and get this bill paid. This time a manager gets called in and they tell him they will take care of it, and they will be starting an investigation. I guess when $2,300 goes missing, they have to pay attention. Only, come mid April, I get an overdue tax notice telling me not only have I not paid my bill, but I also have now incurred another $21 in fees and interest. So this time, both my husband and I have to go back to this branch to get their error fixed. The "investigation" was a ticket asking the city for a refund. Why they didn't ask for the money to go from the condo he sold 14 years ago, to the property he gave them the actual bill to be paid in the first place, I have no idea. The city refused to take the money back from the wrong account as a refund. This was near the end of March. But this branch told us nothing. They said the person who entered the request doesn't work there anymore. Oh. Ok. So you have no backup, and everything they were handling goes down the drain. We were told it's our problem to deal with the city now. Take your story and hopefully the city will find your $2,300 and recognize it wasn't your fault and reverse the $21 charges too. Right after this, I get another failure from them. I try to deposit 2 government cheques to a trust account I've been in charge of for years. My name is right there on the system, I've validated the bank card the bank has issued to me, but because this teller doesn't know how it works, a different manager comes out and she doesn't know how it works either. Instead of simply asking me for my ID, which is all everyone has been doing all these years, she tells me I'm not allowed to deposit cheques into my ward's account. She goes on about endorsement. ?This person can't sign. That's why I am their statutory guardian. You want me to sign for them? No one's ever asked but that's how it would go. You have every document that was needed to open this trust account on file. But I wasn't even asked for my ID and they refused to take the deposit. They just watched me take it over to the ATM instead. I'm done with this branch if not this bank.
