Just be up front of what you want in a rental before he starts to look for you. Also intelligent and looks at all angles for you. Got my desired apartment before it went to a public listing source which is why I got it before anyone else saw it, and that is due to Steve's working fast with the landlord and me. No need to go to his office as he will go to your apartment to have leases signed. As I understand, Steven also broker coop, condo and house sales too. You need him to work for you. Fast, efficient and he has a car to drive you to the showings and to get you rental leases or real estate purchases. Time is money as the motto goes but fast time gets you the desired apartment, condo or house before the rest of the renters and buyers and that satisfaction is like a Million dollars in the bank.

Steven worked thoroughly with me not only in finding apartments within my budget, but he truly acted as an advocate on my behalf and looked out for my best interests and needs. I also valued his personal connection to the neighborhood, suggestions on conveniences and amenities and other helpful information to help me adjust to moving to a new apartment. If you are in need of a real estate agent or someone who can help you navigate the process of finding an apartment in Queens and the New York City area, I can't recommend him enough. Thank you for everything, Steven.

Someone else already wrote "above and beyond," so to avoid being redundant, I'll sum up George's help getting me the exact apartment I wanted as "higher and further than any other real estate agent ever." I promised avoiding redundancy, not hyperbole--in this case, though, I'm not being hyperbolic, because George has done everything for me: got my lease turned around in 2 days, answered every phone call, answered every question when he could, and said he didn't know when he didn't. Even after I moved, I had more questions about the neighborhood and George responded quickly. He's just a stand up guy who happens to be a great real estate agent. George was the first real estate agent I've ever worked with that actually earned their fee. If my mother needed a new place, I'd send her to George.

They are always friendly when they answer the phone, they are helpful, and they are reasonable, which is HUGE! I've heard horror stories from friends who have had to suffer through bad landlords. Luckily, I'm not one of them! Ridge Realty somehow forgot to send the lease renewal agreement near the end of our first year, and when I called to ask about it, they said they'd send one right away, and even agreed to extend our lease for a few months so we'd have a little extra time to decide! We also had a bit of a pest problem a little more than a year ago, and Ridge Realty sent an exterminator right away, without any hassle. We saw a few more bugs later that year, and they sent an "expert" exterminator (whatever that means) - and we're now pest free for a year and counting! Whenever I decide to move, I am definitely going to talk to Ridge Realty first, to see what kind of buildings they have wherever I'm looking. They are so great!

I paid a full month's security deposit and returned the apartment in the exact same condition it was given to me. Despite this, I have never received my deposit back. For the first month after I moved out, Alex repeatedly told me I would receive it "soon." However, he has now completely stopped responding to my phone calls and emails. It has been months of silence while he holds onto my money. If you are looking for a professional and transparent broker in NYC, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. Dealing with the lack of communication and the withholding of funds has been an incredibly frustrating experience.

As soon as Matthew heard my fiances last name which clearly was an indicator that he is Hispanic Matthews tone changed. He informed me he would contact the landlord to the apartment we were interested in renting. After not hearing from Matthew for a few hours I called him again, to get his voice mail, in which he did not return my message. My fiance works hard and serves the city of New York everyday NOT to be judged by some lOSER such as Matthew A. Spezzano. Not to mention my fiance pays 1600 in rent alone. Therefore 1200 three times is NOTHING
