I love Chuy's! I used to go to the one in college station all the time while I was in college. I'm so thankful to have this location near by. Their creamy jalapeño dip is my all time favorite. Not to mention their amazing happy hour... FREE queso, meat, beans, and chips. Who does that? I love CHUY's!!!! read more

Great mexican food. Make sure to try the jalapeno ranch dip its the best.

I unfortunately have to leave a bad review for the service we had here on our last visit. We came in on a Monday night around 8 and it wasn't that crowded. We were seated immediately but no one brought us chips or came to take our drink order for sometime. Finally a manager saw us waiting and took our order. When the waitress finally arrived we asked for some jalapeño ranch dip to go with the chips (shouldn't that stuff always be brought out with the chips? I mean why else go to Chuy's?) Regardless, we waited and waited and actually finished our basket of chips before she came back and asked if we needed anything. Again, we asked for the dip and she apologized for forgetting and ran off to get it. After our meal was brought out, she came by, asked how everything was then left the check. We usually don't get this until we're all done, let alone before we even start eating. What if we wanted more drinks or desert? We felt very rushed and ignored. It was a shame because I love this restaurant and I want to come back. read more

Worst. Chuy's. Ever. I normally love this place and their creamy jalapeno dip can solve world problems, but this particular location I would avoid in the future. Visited on a Saturday at 3:30pm after having too long of a wait at Pappasitos. We were seated within 5-8 minutes but service was slow and the food sub-par at best. There was mushed rice all over the seat of the booth we were sat in and rice, beans and used napkins on the floor all around our area. Our server was nice but not efficient, never brought the to-go cup we requested, had to be asked twice for the to-go box for leftovers and overall just wasn't very attentive. An employee that had just gotten off his shift was at the table next to us with a lady friend and our server seemed to be much more interested in what they were doing/talking about than us. It took foreeeeeever to get our entrees which consisted of two bowls of tortilla soup and a plate of nachos, so you would think it would be quick since the soup is already prepared. My soup had two chunks of avocado and no cheese. I was so disappointed in this location, whomp whooomp. read more

First I want to preface this review with the food is delicious. The reason for the 2 stars was today I received the worse service from our server. Betty was her name and she explained she was new but kept interrupting our conversation while we're eating to ask if we needed anything. Normally I welcome the questions because I know our waiter/tress is taking care of us. But this was borderline obnoxious. We couldn't wait to finish our meal to leave it seemed obvious she was trying to get rid of us by cleaning the table while we were still there. She could not wait for us to get up and leave. Unfortunately being new doesn't give you an excuse to treat a customer that way. I usually give a minimum of $10 tip but I couldn't. Then to add insult she tried to pronounce my name from my card and butchered it. Usually the service is good and the food is delicious but this time I am only rating the service. The Chuys in Humble please retrain this server to understand we're not on her timetable. Thank you! read more

The special hatch green enchiladas are the best.. Favorite location will always be the original in Austin.

The food is always good. We've been there twice and it's been good both times. It seems rather expensive for mexican food: $3.79 for a side of guacamole. Bill came to $29 without tip for two people with no alcohol. Try Los Vega in Humble, TX instead where we both ate at lunch for $22 including tip with no alcohol. Mexican food is cheap to make and should be cheap for customers. read more

I will start by saying we (our large group) went past many many restaurants to get to this location because we thought we knew what we would get. Saturday night 8:30, we expected a long wait. Happy surprise just 30 minutes, yay! That was the end of the happy surprises for half our group. There were 2 servers and the one I had was the worst. This person started with a look of panic and never got her self under control. She was so freaked out she didn't listen, didn't get orders right several times, she didn't get tickets right ever, she didn't even end up bringing any plate out at all. She didn't refill drinks w/o repeated requests. We never got more ranch or salsa, I never got water at all. I mean it was a bad bad bad experience. The other server sharing the group was calm and controlled and had it all together. The folks with him were very happy and left more then 30 minutes before we did. The food was way too spicy as well. I'm from Austin - I've eaten at Chuy's all my life and I know how it tastes (here anyway). My teens burrito was inedible. But by then the chaos was too much to risk sending it back. It will just make me never go back to the Humble location and think twice before I try any other location. The manager came out (finally) at the end and tried to straighten this mess up and we got the checks right so they were happy but the guests, not so much. He needed to support and train this server more. I have a pic of the servers if mgmt wants to see it, feel free to contact me. Good luck if you go here, hope your visit is better than mine. read more

we come here often either to stay or carry out. Service is hit or miss, but food is generally great and consistent as chains go. Drinks are over priced like everywhere else, but the portions of most dishes allow splitting or another meal later on. Problems are quickly resolved with managers happy to resolve the issue. parking can be problematic, and if you have to park across from the restaurant, the cross traffic is fast and distracted. Chuys is better than most places in kingwood for tex mex, read more

Service is always great. The staff is friendly and inviting. The food is delicious. Elvises fried chicken with boom boom sauce is extreamly tasty. This place is always busy yet manages to be consistently delicious. read more

I went in Chuys tonight and the service was terrible. The server came only a few times to check up on us and 30 mins later still had no order taken. So when we decided that we were passed up by our server to take care of other few tables that she had, that we got up to see the Manager. We wanted to pay for the one drink that was offered to us and she said she would take care of it & speak to our server. Needless to say, we will never be going to that establishment again. We wound up going to Los Cucos and had An Amazing Dinner with Over the Top Service in Conroe. read more

Chuy's in Humble is one of my favorite Tex-Mex places. I'm obsessed with their jalapeño ranch dip with chips and I always order their Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and their tortilla soup. I am always pleased and happy and their food is always delicious. read more

Food was mediocre at best, but the service was terrible. I ordered a burrito with jalapeno sauce, then a few minutes later asked if I could switch to queso. They said no, since they've already put in the order, but they could give me queso on the side. I said fine. So they brought out the burrito (with no sauce, so they obviously had time to change that) and queso on the side. Which was fine, I thought, until I got the bill and found they charged me 4 BUCKS for the dumb little cup of queso that was free at the bar. They never said anything about an additional charge. That was disingenuous and with so many Tex-Mex places in Houston, most of which have better food, I will certainly not be coming back here. read more

Yesterday, I had lunch at Chuy's. The chips, salsa, and creamy jalapeno dip were great! However, one of my main concerns was the floor. It was greasy in one part and very wet on the way to the bathroom. I told the staff and they didn't seemed very concerned except one woman. If you guys aren't careful, someone is going to fall and you are going to have a major lawsuit on your hands! So, please do something about this. read more

Excellent Tex Mex food. I may be addicted to their chips, salsa, and green sauce. An amazing place for vegetarians--- they have the veggie options listed specifically on their menu. For carnivores, the fajitas and enchiladas are really good! I love the daily specials and Monday's Bacon Wrapped Pork Rellenos are my favorite. Great tres leches cake and of course Killer margaritas. It's really busy though-- the biggest problem with really great restaurants. I've had 50/50 luck with servers, but overall a really great place for Mexican food, read more

Over priced and over rated. Have tried it a few times and never been impressed with the food or service. I don't get all the hype.

My very first time there and I got the fajita burrito , and it was pretty good I would go back, the drink that I got wasn't all that strong overall I would rate it a 8.5 (: read more

Love going here for happy hour (3-7pm). Discounted beer and margaritas and all you can eat chips, queso, salsa, and their famous jalapeno ranch! Usually after chowing down on that, I am good with splitting and entree with my husband. I haven't found something I didn't like there yet! read more

Good atmosphere but sub par food and service. Ranch dressing for chips??! Weird combo. 20 minutes for a beer and fajitas were burnt. Rice over cooked beans out of a can. No silverware, no refills, table dirty. read more

I used to frequent this restraunt alot but the food is just meh. The uniqueness of the chips and salsa and the jalapeño ranch dip is good. The food is mediocre, but I have noticed everything is firey hot. I tried something off the secret menu and it was good but so hot I just about couldn't eat it read more

Really enjoy dinner, was hesitant at first due to a few unfavorable reviews, but quickly figured out that they were unfounded and the food was great. Hope to return real soon. read more

Very good for allergies. Excellent for families. This place has a good atmosphere. The service is very friendly.

We were seated really fast even though it was really busy. All the waiters and waitresses work really fast. Especially clearing and cleaning the tables to get other customers seated. Caroline was our waitress, she was great! Kept us refilled on our margaritas, chips and salsa. Very attentive didn't even have to ask for the refills because she was paying so much attention to her tables. First time here and will be back again. read more

Went here on a Friday night for happy hour. We had a spot on the patio. The drinks were delicious (and stong). The queso and chips were great. Most of us decided to get food as well. I had some spicy chicken enchiladas. With the cool drinks it was perfect. If you live in this part of town, it's a great spot to go to. The service was fast and friendly. read more

I was traveling on business and just having a quick bite by myself so decided to grab a seat at the bar. My bartender was Cici and she was great! She knew the entire menu and certainly steered me in the right direction. I was in the mood for something fairly light and healthy so she steered me to the shrimp tacos but grilled, not fried as they typically serve them. I had a side of guacamole with them that was fresh but a little flat (it could have used some fresh jalapeños and habaneros minced in) the margaritas and the conversation were both great! read more

I think this place is called chuy's to represent that all there food is chewy, especially the chicken. I would definitely go back for the Margaritas which are great, the food though, is not so great. read more

Elvis chicken and boom boom sauce.... Wow... may favorite dish here... Have not had this anywhere else. Good job with the food and service..

The food is good, it tastes a bit different than other Mexican restaurants, but lets be honest. We only went there for the creamy jalapeño ranch dip. I can't eat there without thinking about their roach problem that they used to have. It's also really crowded now. Getting a table usually requires a wait. read more

This place sucked!!! Its totally the white mans version of Mexican food. First the they bring you spiceless salsa, then they bring you ranch dressing for your chips? .......you kidding me!! That's an insult to Tex-Mex food let alone real Mexican cuisine. The only thing that I liked here was the green chile rice it was pretty good. Other then that nothing else, the waiter was cool all the way up to the point where he totally forgot about us and was prancing around with the other waiter at a table with a bigger group ......obviously for the bigger tip. This place is more a place for the college crowd who are more interested in the drinks then the food. Wouldn't recommend! ! read more

Boom boom!!!! That's all you need to know! Well besides the southwest stacked enchiladas! The fried egg on top is just like back home in New Mexico! All the sauces are amazing too! But the boom boom and creamy jalapeño are my favorites! read more

I've been to this Chuy's locations plenty of times, but I've never really felt the need to review it until today. The food is always pretty good and you can usually get sat pretty quickly. Today, I came in, was greeted and seated promptly as usual; but we had a server that really made it an amazing visit. He was courteous, fast, and treated us very nicely. Ben, you did a great job today and we hope to sit in your section again soon! read more

I've been sitting here for 15 minutes and have seen 2 roaches crawl up the wall. I'm never coming back. The staff is very friendly, but this is definitely a deal breaker. I used to always love this place and visited often. Paid for our drinks and left. read more

Ever since they re-opened after Harvey, they just cannot get it together. The food is still good, but service is horrible. Its been multiple times now and I just cannot deal with poorly trained servers and managers that aren't out there supporting their struggling servers. I'm done. How many chances does Chuy's need? Get your act together. read more

Love Chuy's!!!!! The creamy jalapeño is so good and has the right amount of spice. Can't go wrong with whatever the special is that day or a pulled chicken burrito or chicken enchiladas. Okay so I really like their roasted chicken. They also have so many sauces to choose from. The new fried avocado addition to the special menu is to die for!! read more

I wish they would open a rest. In Chicago or Glen Ellyn, IL!!! I love coming here during happy hour. This place rocks for tex-mex!

Very fine ingredients and great food. This is more geared to the health concerned diner than most any mexican restaurant. Less sodium - much less to no grease - etc. read more

Favorite tex-mex place by far! The best chicken fajitas. And don't forget the creamy jalapeño sauce!
