This is the Churro Guy! 3 pesos for each churro. We paid 23 pesos for 6 churros and a chocolate sauce. Each churro was hot and very fresh. Cinnamon and sugar on them. Not the best I've had but very tasty and huge lines. The owner is sooo nice!!!

BEST CHURROS EVER! This place is 100% legit and the best churros we have ever had. It's just a little stand. Get there a hour before he closes because sometimes he sells out early. You will love these babies!!!!

Que deliciosos! These are very simple and yet very elegant churros. Crispy and fresh.. made to order and made to be enjoyed immediately. Family owned and operated.. what more could you want? Highly recommend

Best churros in PV! Super crunchy and airy! Every bite tastes heavenly. We were lucky enough to grab the last batch of churros as we've been told the churro man is not always here. So if you're lucky enough to come on a day when he is open, definitely get the biggest bag of 20 churros. Super cheap and oh so good! I wish I could put him in my pocket and take him back to the US with me! Don't think twice about visiting this churro stand if you're ever in PV!

Best churros! You cannot beat these made to order churros from Arnulfo. 3 pesos each. Craziness!

In A Nutshell: -5 years later, this famous churro stand is still knocking out great treats one churro at a time! -The formula is still the same: hand crank the secret churro mixture out into a hot vat of oil, then tossing the freshly fried sweet treats into a metal bowl of sugar & cinnamon. -You can buy them by nearly any amount you want & the prices are still very, very low. Overall, I'm so glad this little stand is flourishing!

Delicious churros. Friendly fella making them for legit 3 peso each. They were delicious. After we placed our order we walked over to the corner a little ways down and he came over to tell us we were holding the bag wrong and had to leave the bag open so the churros didn't get soggy. The man loves his craft.

I made it a point this year to get to this churro stand as I found about it too late last year. LOCATION: The Yelp location pin is wrong by a block east. It's located at the corner of Aguacate & Lázaro Cárdenas right by the Iglesia de la Santa Cruz church. No hours are posted but the 5pm start time is accurate. I assumed there'd be a long line and a quick sell out but I saw people carrying the goods well past 8:30pm and no line was there when we went. THE STAND: It's a simple operation and they're made hot and fresh on the spot. A tripod holding up what looks like a big caulking gun is instead full of churro batter, aimed at a bubbling pot of oil. He squeezes them out one by one, cutting them with a swift swipe of a knife. They fry for just a few seconds before being dusted in cinnamon and sugar. MENU: Churros! FOOD: Churros - 3 for 5 pesos (25 cents USD) What a deal! There's nothing like eating them hot. While super crunchy, they weren't thick enough to produce a moist interior which is what makes a churro even more delectable and a bit of a downfall for me. You get the taste of a churro but not the whole package. SERVICE: Not friendly at all. I get it that some tourists can be annoying but he literally barked-back responses to simple questions about price to people before us, a total turn-off to me. Be appreciative that people patronize your biz and don't take them for granted!? OVERALL: Not a repeat for me. I already know of a good spot for churros which I'll go back to next time and will continue exploring the area for more options.

FRESH, light, amazing clean flavor with a dash of vanilla! Can't leave PV without knowing how they're supposed to be!

Be there at 4pm when they open, the line build fast and for good reason! 10pcs for 3 pesos each and a lasting memory of flavor leaving you wanting more

    Go here!

It's a bit from the main drag but worth the jaunt. Fresh homemade to order churros. Located in from of a church.

This stand was good if you like crispy all the way through. I prefer custards middles, but these were good.

When in PV you have got to go to this little stand. There is always a line, but it moves fast and worth the wait. So, so good.

It's took us some time but we found this charming gentleman and there was no line. We enjoyed the warm churros and the journey to find them.

After seeing this place recommended so many times in different places I was excited to try it on…read moreour first visit to PV. I don't know if the rave reviews and attention have gotten to the owners' head but this place is NOT it. We arrived around 2:30 after a snorkeling tour and were hungry, there was a line to order about 4 people ahead of us but it moved quickly. There isn't much place to sit just the bar counter around the food cart and a couple tables and plastic chairs next to it. No problem, as we were there for good food without the frills. I ordered 4 fish tacos, 4 shrimp tacos and 1 crab salpicon tostado and 1 fish ceviche tostada plus sodas for two adults and 2 kids. It took about 20 min for the tostadas to come out, the ceviche was heavy on carrot (something unique about ceviche in PV) and was mostly what I could taste, the crab tostada was better and the best thing we had. Then we waited and waited, I saw that others who ordered before us were also still waiting but about 3:30 is when our shrimp tacos finally arrived! There was an elderly white American couple with their grandkids seated near us and you could tell they had been waiting an eternity as well because the kids were literally falling asleep in their chairs. After the shrimp tacos were consumed I was worried how long for the fish, so I asked the girl clearing tables that we were still waiting for 4 fish tacos, she said ok and reminded the cook that we needed the rest of our order. Another 15 minutes and we finally had all our food. By this time everyone we had ordered with has come and gone. Despite the insane wait, I might have been ok with it if the food was great but it was so disappointing. The shrimp taco was mostly batter with hardly any shrimp. The fish taco was better but again nothing special. The best thing was the freshly made tortilla it was served on. Then came time to lay the bill, I went up to pay and the receipt had a charge for 8 fish tacos. When I politely corrected saying we only had 4 the cashier spoke to what appeared to be the manager, and was told to take off $100 pesos... mind you each taco is $50 pesos, so they still upcharged me $100 pesos! I was livid but decided to just pay and take the receipt as proof of my terrible experience. I'm so confused because this has not been typical of my experience at PV restaurants, everyone is usually exceedingly nice and attentive. But this place felt like they were doing me a favor from the minute I ordered and I have no clue why. DO NOT GO HERE if you are a tourist. They treat you poorly and then rip you off.

We stopped by this little taco stand for lunch after church at Our Lady of Guadalupe…read more Very unassuming place with 3 women busily making tacos and tortillas as you wait. It was quite busy and does quite a bit of business on Uber Eats. That said, our order came quickly, a shrimp tostada, fried fish taco and grilled fish taco served with a salsa bar so you can dress your own tacos. We sat at the stools right in front -there are 6 of them and they have a few tables behind. For around $12 including a Diet Coke, this was amazing. Fast food in the United States cannot compare to this in taste or quality. Recommended!
