The two vegan dips - peanut butter and strawberry jelly went so well together. The family tells me the condensed milk was very good as well. The Canadiano (black) was amongst the best we have had. The brew was so smooth and tasted just perfect. No bitterness or sourness and the temperature was perfect. The vegan Iced Chai Latte with soy milk was unlike any chai latter we have had. The spices were warm and drink cold and a hint cinnamon, cardamom and cloves - OMG. We were so impressed that we came the very next day and had the same thing again.

The workshop advertises itself as a place to "make chocolate"; I guess I interpreted this a little too literally. The workshop consisted of literally pouring melted chocolate into molds and then adding some toppings like nuts or sprinkles to it. While this was very fun for my daughter who is a toddler, I felt ripped off for this experience. Furthermore, that you aren't even provided enough chocolate to complete your molds is a little disappointing in my opinion. Others in my group seemed to agree. The chocolate itself is very pricy, especially for the quality. It was more expensive than the pricier bars I've seen at Whole Foods. However, if you go to the botanical gardens, this chocolate is sold there but for about 25% more than what is in the shop. It also would have been nice to have had dark chocolate as an option for the experience. I think just having one type (milk chocolate) is an easy way for choco museum to improve. While our host was friendly and informative, it felt like a stretch to call this place a museum. I did learn stuff, but it seems you could only access the "museum" if you paid for a workshop.

Some berries from Mexico were expensive. They had lots of breads, tacos, fajitas made right on premises. Surprisingly there are lots of vegan milks - oat, soy and almond. Vegan Hotdogs, mock meats, sliced seitan-ham, pepperoni etc. Lots of Tofu, vegan Cheeze, ice creams, burgers as such as well. The store has some hats, beachware and some basic clothes and home stuff as well. Most staff don't speak English so it may be a difficult if you need help. All else service are good.

Because of how thin it was, every bite had a crunch but there was no substance. And with each bite, the taste of the oil got more and more apparent. In the end, I didn't even want to finish the rest of my churros and everyone in our group felt the same. It was definitely a let-down because we were just expecting the best churros ever. Maybe we came on an off day, or maybe this style isn't to our liking.
