It's in desperate need of management. It needs cleaning and it needs helpers and supplies. Going in was very disappointing. The seasoning on the chicken was lacking. And they ran out of strips , which was what went in there for. One of the workers kept complaining about the cash register not working, about the drive through and about the folks who walked in and waited, too long, for their food. I went to the Church's Chicken in Moncks Corner and had one of the worst experiences. When I walked in, the cashiers didn't even acknowledge me--they were sitting in the dining area, and I had to ask if they were even still open before anyone bothered to come behind the counter to take my order. The counter area looked dirty and unkept, which was already a bad sign. To top it off, the chicken I was served was completely dry and definitely not fresh. I doordash my order which was a 4 pc combo with mashed potatoes and gravy i only received 3 pcs of chicken an i didn't pay for that

Can you say, Nasty and rip off? Came in because the wife wanted chicken and years past this was the only place to go. I opted for the 12 piece with 2 large sides and 6 biscuits for a staggering $28. When I order the meal the lady at the counter stated they only have Mashed Potatoes, Mac and Cheese and Spicy Rice. Since the Mac and cheese and spicy rice were premium sides I would have to pay extra, even thought they didn't have anything else. Why is it the customers responsibility to pay more for what they only have? So I ditched the family pack and only ordered the 12 piece and 6 biscuits because I didn't want to pay extra for their limited items. I asked if they offered a military discount and was given an awful look at the same time they have a tip jar. Unfortunately they do not but it is not the reason for the one star. Rude service, attitude, expense and poor quality food for too much money. Wish there were more options in the area. read more

This place has really gone down hill, and I'm surprised the company is still in business. This location blocks the drive-thru when they don't want you to use it, the trash can on the outside is always running over and when you go on the inside the employees are sliding around on a filthy floor. Needless to say I came here as a last resort after I had just missed Spinx closing their food section. On tonight's occasion, a car was blocking the drive-thru and a sign addressed the public that they are out of chicken until 3/5/18?!!...really?! On top of that the door was locked to the inside preventing you from ordering anything else. Not cool Church's, not cool! read more

Don't go to this waste of space, sad excuse of a chicken restaurant. The employees are lazy and rude and think it's funny to carry on commentary about customers standing ten feet away from them. Like girl, take my order and hold the attitude because no one asked to hear your standup routine. We get it, you hate your job. We hate that we have to look at you so instead of making the experience worse, just do your job and keep it moving. If your drive thru is broken, put up a sign. If "your sign fell" maybe you should've fixed it and apologized for the inconvenience of customer's having to come inside when we're going through a pandemic where we're supposed to be using social distancing. This has got to be the worst drive thru in Moncks Corner. Went to order in the drive thru an hour after they opened and no one ever answered. Pulled up to the window and there are people in there in the kitchen and you can see a bunch of cooked chicken sitting in the warmer. So pull up to the door and the doors were locked. There is a sign saying lobby is closed to order at drive thru. Three other cars were sitting in drive thru so went back around. Still no answer, pull up to the window and knock. A woman didn't even bother coming to the window, just motioned and yelled for me to come around and to come in. So me along with every car behind me drove off! The owner of the franchise is getting screwed! The short time I was up there 7 cars tried to drive thru and spend money and none were able to. They need to be closed down! read more

This was my first experience at a Church's. Honestly, I was surprised at how good it was. I got the smokehouse chicken, the flavor was really good! The sides were alright and the service wasn't particularly friendly, but overall I enjoyed my experience at Church's. read more

I prefer Popeyes, and KFC to this place. Customer service always seems to be lacking. The 3 times I've visited this place the workers always seemed overwhelmed and/or bothered. The business is connected to a gas station. I would suggest all orders made TOGO, place feels cramped, dirty. I swear the macaroni and cheese tastes like it came out the box with the powdered cheese. Nothing but water mixed in (my opinion). Only thing I love is the biscuits. LOVE IT! You get stars because I like the biscuit, and it's conveniently 5 minutes away. read more

wow. This place is never opened on time. I drive almost 20 minutes to get there and they are never opened on time. I even sit there for 15 minutes waiting. Their website says 1000 open but I never get there until 1115 or so. I have been going to spinx across the street and I will keep going there. This is so ridiculous. If I ever want church's I will not go there again, I will go to Rivers. read more

I ordered two chicken bites meals today 2/13. When I got home I found that one of the meals was missing one side order. Also I only got one small dipping sauce for two meals. There were no napkins or plastic forks .The chicken and biscuit were good but maybe the employees need more training . I did not go back because the return trip would be too costly. This was my first and only trip there. If you are going to do a job it is just as easy to do a good and rewarding job than to do a poor one. I used to to like Church's chicken but the service has turned me away completely! Brenda the assistant manager at the Moncks Corner location is very unprofessional! She locks the door and put a "Wet Sign" out when she feels like it! She speaks very rudely through the drive through and she serves lukewarm food. The staff was extremely rude. They didn't have any dark meat chicken and it would be ready in 10 minutes . I said I would wait then the lady at the window came back 30 seconds later and said it would be 25-30 minutes. I said I would wait and she was mad. They didn't want to cook anymore chicken. Wasn't expecting much from church's chicken but we were in the mood for fried chicken and this was the closest place. Macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, jalapeño cheese bombers were all Good. The honey biscuits were the best part. The most disappointing item was the chicken. It was crispy but with a 9 piece we were suppose to get 4 pieces of white meat. I asked for all 4 to be breasts and we got 1 breast the rest thighs and legs. One thigh was all breading and no meat. read more

Driest chicken, hardest biskets, worst service, and operation times in the tricounty area. Couple of years ago I was given the hardest biskets I thought could possibly exist. Today, I thought I would give them another try since they currently are the only place for miles selling breakfast, just to find they had put a sticker over the store hours to open AFTER breakfast on Saturdays.
