Chicken and beef taco plate
Pari S.

Little hole in the wall. Good service, good menu but just like every other Mexican place I've tried in Utah, just not impressed with the flavors (depends what you're used to, I'm from California. It's just bland. Got the taco plate, the 'grilled' chicken looked boiled and had no flavor, the beef also didn't have any flavor. The only flavor I tasted was from the onions and cilantro on top and the lime I squeezed on it. And if you're eating there, you will smell like the food rest of the day. I'm still giving them 4 stars for the service and presentation.

A friend recommended this Mexican restaurant, claiming it was authentic. I should have known better that Americans don't know what authentic Mexican food is. Disappointed with everything I tasted. Very grease, too! The location was not a good area. I don't recommend this place.

Al Pastor Tacos

The food is very good, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I recommend the Al Pastor tacos and the horchata. Very reasonable prices. Seating is limited and ambient music was a little load.

Al pastor Tacos

The food here is amazing! They have this special of 20 mini Al pastor tacos for $20. You can't beat that for work lunches! The service is absolutely amazing too. Must try the CHIPS & Salsa!!

Tacos Combo

A dive taqueria worth your attention. Not a fancy place, nor a brunch venue, or a date night kind of spot. The two taco combo, with rice, beans and fountain soda is perfect. Tacos were delicious; al Pastor, cilantro, onions, I added lime and their sauce. The tortillas were slightly crispy. Beans and Rice hit the spot.

Super tasty Al pastor. Got the burrito and the tacos and smashed both of them. Would recommend for that

Is this location still open? It looks closed whenever I drive by...

My wife and I just went a few weeks ago, and it was definitely open.

Apparently my question was deleted because of its tone. I just want to know their hours. Does anyone know?

Yelp says 11am-10pm on Tuesday - Thursday and 11am-11pm on Friday and Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday. However, I always tend to pass by and their hours seems misaligned with yelp. I went at 9:30pm one night and they were already closed.

The dessert I frankly don't remember any details because we inhaled it immediately! Pretty big parking lot and easy to get to from downtown where we were staying. Both locations were great and if I was to eat in, the R2 would be more fun with kids, while the OG might be better for adults.

Absolutely delicious!…read more I got a BOGO free burrito coupon from their FB feed, so why not? So glad I did! I had the spicy green chili burrito--delicious! Smothered inside and out with their very fine green chili. The tortillas seem homemade, it was fresh and good. My wife had the carne asada burrito. I got a bite of it and the beef is delicious! Such good flavors. I also had the pinto beans and rice, both are very good. The horchata, made with almond milk, was creamy and just the right amount of cinnamon and sweet. They serve flour and corn tortilla chips with three salsas. The chips were excellent. The flour chips are deep fried, really good. The red salsa was the hottest but not bad for heat. The green was good. Now the crema sauce was my favorite, it is really excellent. Nice restaurant, comfortable chairs, nice decor that goes along with their theme. Looks like a comfortable bar. Service was friendly and accommodating. I would like to eat here again and take advantage of the FB coupon for their tacos. Highly recommended! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Food came out within minutes of ordering and all at once. Entrees on top of appetizers. Beer selection. Just the big name brands. Fine. But weirdly the rim of my beer glass was coated with a powder that tasted like ground up Doritos. Yuck. Food. Generic burritos and tacos were acceptable. The queso: Within minutes it cooled into a blob of chewy cheese. The chicken with mole: Chicken was dry and tasteless; the mole was thin and watery, and lacked any hint of chocolate. Did we dine here on an off night? Perhaps since it's a really popular place. Hard to say. All I can say is, it's not for us.
