Keegan, the owner, has gone above and beyond several times over the past 10.5 years for us and his staff has done the same. Any time I have questions or perceived issues they are more than happy to answer and check things out so anything needed can be rectified quickly. They do several of our oil changes regularly and any time we need maintenance or repairs they are the first we go to. beyond that I know they treat their employees very well and pay fair wages. that's important to us, happy employees produce good results. read more

They not only found the problem fast, but their communication was top-notch. I received consistent updates from Berry, and they went above and beyond by sending detailed pictures of the inspection with an itemized description for each picture. The service is top-notch, all services and prices are explained fully before conducted, and the employees are friendly, helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help you out. Keegan and Tim are always available to answer all of your detailed questions and take care of your needs. And the mechanics do top-notch work. I've never been disappointed. Case in point: A year ago, I had to have my head gasket replaced. It turned out to be defective and failed while I was traveling. I was disappointed in some of the service I received at Chumbley recently. First, Chumbley staff is very courteous and professional. This is not and never has been an issue. I feel as though I'm treated with respect during the entire repair process. The amount of time that my car was in their shop was too long, over 2 weeks. Part of this time was due to the holiday weekend, but it was mostly due to being short-staffed. My advice to anyone looking for a repair shop is to get more than one estimate. Chumbley seems to specialize in routine service and maintenance. They are well-equipped to do so and they did a good job on my car for those services. For car-specific repairs, like parts on your car that are missing or broken, seek the dealer or an authorized service center for your car. Chumbley WAY overcharged me for parts for my car because they didn't shop around for a better price. I was just hoping Chumbley would have worked with me a little more for what they charged me for parts. I appreciated that they worked with me on some of the labor costs. BAD BAD-took my car here with several issues and they only fixed ONE! Didn't even tell me why they couldn't fix the others (and then totally forgot to even check for one of the issues, found that out later). Sent me home with a green light inspection when the tires were so bad I had a blow out a week later because of wear and tear, not even a nail! And then when I confronted them all I got was a "sorry we should have told you the tires were shot". They have sub par mechanics who look for short cuts in order to get cars in and out faster.
