Dr. Saleh is awesome. He came right to my bedside in the ER. He was able to quickly diagnose what was going on with my heart. He was thorough and was able to explain my EKG to me. What I loved mostly about Dr. Saleh was his knowledge, confidence and immediate treatment plan to help me. I had already been to another cardiologist that had run out answers for me and could no longer help me. Once I was discharged from the hospital, I followed up with Dr. Saleh at his private practice in Linden, NJ. The office was super clean and his staff was very polite. Dr. Saleh is a very down to earth doctor, takes his time listening to your questions and concerns, and doesn't rush you. Dr. Saleh provided me with much more knowledge to my condition than my previous cardiologist did after, 3 visits to the previous cardiologist. 5 stars all the way. Thank you Dr. Saleh for your treatment plan and bringing me some peace of mind again. Beautiful office, polite staff, but most importantly, a doctor that listens and treats you with the utmost care.

Was scheduled to get a stress test at the office and I got a call saying would be a fee of over 1,000 dollars. Weird because last doctor it was covered by insurance and nothing has changed for insurance. They said it was due to hospital affiliation?? Never heard of such a thing. Not a lot of confidence going there for chest pains and there was no follow up. Just told to take some baby aspirin.

I was happy with her dad Dr. Rakesh Sahni as my Cardiologist but when Dr. Sheila joined, I switched to her as my Cardiologist. My wife and I were truly impressed by the amount of time she would devote to our visit (not an assembly line!). She would explain each test as to why she is doing it and discuss the results in detail. She would explain why she is prescribing medicine and what are the potential side effects. She made several changes to the medication until she felt that the BP was under control. She helped me change my lifestyle with gentle nudges. She would have thorough follow-up visits and would answer phone calls. The best quality is her smile, her focus is you - the patient, and she makes you feel relaxed. No white coat syndrome here. A most important person in life - my wife was so much at peace knowing that I was Dr. Sheila Shani's patient. We had to move from NJ to Lancaster, PA to be in a CCRC so we could not continue with her. However, when I had some cardiac issues, we sought her help through Tele Medicine for a second opinion. She reviewed tons of the records that I sent her, and she gave me the end of the day appointment so she can spend more time. She spent almost 40 minutes sharing her views of the records and planned treatments. She suggested, based on the outcome, what more can be done later if need be. I was getting the runaround by JFK hospital to get my last Cardiac Cath lab CD and results. She personally called the hospital and had them send me the CD for my cardiologist here. One more thing I like about Dr. Sheila Sahni is her focus on Women's Health. She educates not only through the office visit but has a good blog and videos to help patients learn more. We wish that we were in NJ to be her patient, but we are happy that she is still as approachable as if we are in NJ through Tele Medicine. God Bless doctors like her - they are the heroes. Jay Shah

Recently, while I was trying to setup an appointment with her office, I learned that she had retired as of 2004. When I requested a copy of my medical history, there were very few instances of Dr. Wong's medical reports included in it. Many of those reports were copy of mammograms and pathology report to check for urine infection. What surprised me the most was one of her last reports where the front desk/receptionist narrated a half page paragraph about how difficult I was while booking my annual checkup. The receptionist was so rude and was a barrier between myself and the doctor's office, and there was nothing I could do to reach anyone else to tell my side of the ordeal. I disconnected and tried calling a few more times but the same rude person picked up. If doctor Wong relied of such staff and never really got to hear the patients' side of the ordeal, I am sure she must have lost many clients over time for this very reason . My only regret is that I did not mention it to her personally later during my visitation as I thought of sparing her the story of my ordeal. It sure was a strange way to part ways with her office.
