Oh chuck, chuck, chuck. When will you reopen? Best racquetball facilities and prices in the state. Hands down. We miss you something awful.

The only issue I have with this location is that they don't really have classes in the evening that interest me, and some of the machines are older. I know this is one of their older locations but I think I slight upgrade to machines we do well since it is such a busy location. Other than that, it's a clutch location when I don't feel like driving to one of the newer locations.

Hey yall! 2 stars for the good customer service only…read more.. 2 stars for the overall gym experience! I went on a tour and surprisingly, it didn't take long. How this gym advertises it online, is a lil different than it is in person. I guess the biggest gym that LVAC, has.. the one with the run around track that FLLOYD promotes, is the best location. This location is mediocre. Also, when I did go, it was packed, with old people. Lots of men. I did like that they did have a WOMENS only area, which was packed too... that's the only part I felt was good! Other than the cardio area was calm, but the entire weight lifting area was sooooo cramped and soo packed! What threw me completely off was the SHOWER AREA, a nasty mildew smell throughout the bathroom area. Which led into the pool area that I didn't like because you see over weight men just casually lounging in the jacuzzi like a regular everyday thing. I really wanted to see the sauna and to my surprise it was co-ed, I need my space. My personal space if in a sauna. No thanks, I won't be signing up here. She the employee, explained the fees and I was like huh? $47 & $49 for something... I thought it was like $10-$15 a month for 1 location! I understand the yearly fees. I liked only the juice bar and the vitamin store they had but nothing else. I'm just a lil more experienced with gyms and I don't wanna settle for just any gym. I take my workouts serious. I need peace whenever I'm training. Thanks tho!

It'll be behind the 7-11. This location is older and smaller, but it definitely has everything you need to get the basics done and more. The place is pretty clean, and the staff has been friendly to me for the most part. They have plenty of cardio equipment and a surprising number of squat racks here. Nice! They manage to pack quite a bit into a small space. There is more than enough here to get a good workout in no matter what you're doing. It's kind of wild, but (**knocks furiously on wood**) it never seems to be crazy busy there. Usually, the first two days of the year are pretty jammed packed everywhere. Not here. It was nice to be able to get in what I need in 45 minutes to an hour. I do love that water bottle refill at the water fountain! I like this place. I will be back, I'm sure. :P 4 solid stars.

Seems like a pretty poor business decision to rather collect $20 for a one day pass instead of focusing on signing them up for a recurring monthly membership. I would have most likely signed up, but I'm not about to spend $20 to try out a gym, especially when the Las Vegas gym right across the road offers a week free pass. The staff was all too excited to exclaim that the free day pass is only for select locations, and they're not one of them. They wanted to send me all the way to Henderson, LOL! I'll pass and go with the competition across the street.

After speaking with Zach he offered me personal training for 6 months on a $3000 program. I never received a class from him. He kept giving me excuses then transfer my program to Erika. That's exactly what I walked into when I was checking out FreeStyle CrossFit. This box has to get a lot of drop-ins from out of towners. They are right downtown and super easy to get to. I happen to be a new local and am on the hunt for my new box. I was welcomed right away and signed in. I met the coach/owner for the Saturday class and shown where to put my stuff, bathrooms, etc. The space itself is small. Very simple, garage style gym. The movements were broken down before the workout and I felt like I was in great hands with the members and coach. I just moved to the area and I'm not used to the heat. Towards the end of the workout (which was a partner WOD: workout of the day) I actually had to sit down because the heat was getting to me and my vision was blurring. Instead of pushing me to keep going, I was encouraged to sit in front of the fan and drink more water. That says a lot about what type of community and support this gym offers. I'm still checking out a few other spots, so event if FreeStyle CrossFit doesn't become my new home, they certainly will see me back for a drop-in now and then.

Fitness Factory (East Charleston) -- Review…read more 1. General Information This is my review of Fitness Factory on East Charleston. The gym is open 24/7, which is a huge plus, especially in a city like Las Vegas. Membership is straightforward: there's only one option at a very affordable $17/month with no contract. A sign-up fee applies--mine was $20.25 during a New Year's promotion, but it may vary. Day passes are available for $10 if you want to try the gym before committing. The sign-up process was simple; I joined at their smaller Lake Mead location, but you can also sign up online. Unfortunately, you *must* cancel in person, which is inconvenient. 2. Facilities and Equipment The gym is clean and generally well-maintained, though it does look a bit dated and could use a facelift. The biggest drawback is the limited variety of machines. While there's a solid weight training area, free weights, and cardio equipment, those accustomed to larger gyms (like LVAC) may feel restricted by the lack of machine options. Most equipment is in good condition and not outdated. Specialized equipment (like kettlebells or stability balls) is scarce. During my usual visits at 4 p.m., the gym wasn't too busy, but you may have to wait for a machine during peak times due to the limited selection. 3. Group Classes & Programs They offer a variety of group classes, but I haven't personally tried them. The option is there for anyone interested; I recommend checking with the staff for schedules and details. 4. Staff & Trainers My interactions with staff have been limited since I tend to keep to myself. However, during sign-up at the Lake Mead location, the staff member was polite, efficient, and helpful--nothing exceptional, but the experience was smooth and professional. 5. Cleanliness & Hygiene Overall, the gym is fairly clean--nothing extraordinary, but far from unpleasant. The men's bathroom and locker room are average in terms of cleanliness, though the dated design doesn't help the impression. There are lockers and showers, but no towel service or supplies (soap, shampoo, or hair dryers), so bring your own. Sanitation stations are available, and members are expected to wipe down equipment after use. 6. Atmosphere & Community The vibe here is neutral--not the most welcoming, but definitely not intimidating or overly competitive. Most members tend to keep to themselves or work out with a friend or two. It's less crowded than bigger gyms like LVAC, which is a plus, but limited machine variety still means you may have to wait during busy times. One downside: I noticed a lot of high school-aged members around 4 p.m. This isn't inherently bad, but it's something to be aware of if you prefer not to be around so many young people. Your experience may vary depending on the time you visit. 7. Amenities Amenities are good for the price. Lockers are available, but you'll need to bring your own lock. There are showers, a sauna, and a pool, though I recommend checking with the front desk for their hours of operation. Water stations are available, and there's a vending machine for drinks, but no smoothie bar or café. Parking is plentiful in front of the gym, but I didn't see any dedicated bike storage. For public transport, the RTC 206 Charleston and 203 Lamb bus stops are conveniently nearby. 8. Value & Overall Experience Fitness Factory has a lot going for it, especially for the price. Compared to LVAC, it's less crowded and has a better vibe, but the limited variety of machines might frustrate some users. For $17 a month (no contract), you get most of the same basic amenities as larger gyms--including access to their Lake Mead location. The 24/7 hours are perfect for service workers or anyone with an unusual schedule. This gym is best suited for beginners or those looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly membership. If you want a modern gym with high-end amenities, you won't find that here. Still, for the price, it's hard to beat. I recommend giving it a try--while there are drawbacks, the value and flexibility may make it worth it for many people.

Not up to par customer service and infrastructure of they're building is below standard. Something…read morewas always broken here whether it was the machines or a urinal /toilet/ sinks.
