He is really focused on making sure that any areas that are weak or have limited range get corrected first so that you operate at your optimal level functionally and your movement patterns are aligned with keeping you fit, strong and healthy no matter what activity you're doing. I am currently overseas where I completed my advanced open water diving certification as well as 11 additional dives and the whole experience has been a breeze. Getting in and out of the diving boats, carrying tanks and bcd's, diving to a depth of 100 feet and doing 2 or 3 dives a day has all been easy and effortless. I've also been able to get back into running which I hadn't done for 8 years. If you want a really good trainer who will help you to achieve your short term and long term fitness goals, then I highly recommend working with Brandon. When it comes to the investment you make for your overall health and fitness, it's so important to consider the "right fit" when choosing a gym/trainer. I started at Sweatzone only a couple of months ago, but def one of the best choices I could make for myself in 2022. Sweat Zone is a great fit for me for multiple reasons: 1. I love what I do but my role requires A LOT out of me. Since I have to "people" all day, I'm exhausted physically and mentally when my day ends. I was never a fan of going to my previous commercial gym when it was packed with people, and waiting to go late in the evening came at the cost of sleep. Being in a smaller, more private space only optimizes my experience when I train. 2. I am an occupational therapist by background, a profession where "function" is at the core of its philosophy. I ultimately chose Sweatzone for the value placed on functional exercises. My workouts are no-nonsense and give me the structure and challenge I personally need, while being sustainable and adaptable for the long-term. 3. I fall in the camp of being someone who benefits/values from 1:1 time but also having the occasional space where I can hold myself responsible to do certain warmups/exercises if other things are being tended to. Some people prefer their trainer is attached to their hip at all times during a session, but when it comes down to it: you are ultimately responsible for applying the things which are taught to you. 4. Continuing with number 3, Brandon is skillful in making sure the needs are met of everyone in or coming into the gym at a given time - whether they are there for private training or a group class. I 100% relate to and understand the challenges that come with the territory of being a one man show. It's not easy and a lot goes on behind the scenes many don't understand. 5. Overall, I highly recommend Sweat Zone. Brandon's passion, knowledge, and dedication to his business expresses itself through how he runs things. This place is hands down the BEST gym I've ever had the pleasure of working out at and worth every dollar! Not only has my body changed physically, I've become much stronger, my confidence has increased, and working out here has done wonders for my mental health. I'm much happier in life. Everyone at this gym contributes to a great sense of community and support. I sleep better at night. My anxiety has calmed down. I've been training here for almost 3 months, coming in for personal training twice per week with Ashlee and unlimited classes. (I normally make it to 2-3 classes per week). Here are my observations and praises: 1. Ashlee is an amazing trainer and instructor. She is superbly organized, knowledgeable, caring, supportive, nice, beautiful and has a body to-die-for (motivation for me). She not only provides personal training, but she also serves as an instructor for numerous classes held at Sweat Zone. Whether Ashlee is providing personal training or teaching a class, no two workouts are ever the same. 2. Sweat Zone facilities are always clean and safe. I feel very comfortable working out here. 3. The classes offered at Sweat Zone are small. At the most, I believe the classes host between 4-8 individuals. This makes for a very individualized and focused training for everyone taking the classes. All instructors are great at spotting their attendees' weaknesses and jump in immediately to provide proper form, additional instructions, and/or modified workouts. I find myself asking the instructors to repeat workouts several times during a class (and they don't get mad! lol). 4. All trainers/instructors are wonderful, caring and knowledgeable! Normally, I HATE making general statements like this. However, I have to give credit where it's due and when it's true. No trainer/instructor makes you feel like an idiot for not being in the best shape. To the contrary, they want you to reach your best potential. They are all SUPER open to being asked questions and they genuinely love providing guidance. This has not only been my experience, but it's something I've observed daily with others (I am there 4-5 times per week). They are also very aware of your well-being while working out and the heart rate monitors we wear help them in ensuring that we are healthy and getting the best workouts. 5. Their app is amazing!!! The app is synced to your heart rate monitor, to their system, classes, etc... Through this app is how Sweat Zone communicates with attendees. And more importantly, it's through this app that you can schedule your classes and personal training sessions. I love this app because it keeps me accountable to my workouts. It sends me workout reminders. It syncs to my phone's calendar. It tracks my progress, and so much more! 6. Last but not least, I have to give a special commendation to Brandon and Eleni for running this place. Brandon you're not only a fitness expert, but I commend you on running a near-perfect establishment. You have hired the perfect staff! I love Ashlee and Abby! They represent Sweat Zone in the best way. Trey, Jake and Diane, I haven't had too much personal experience with but from what I see everyday, they are the best at their craft and represent the brand in the best possible manner. Thank you for making me feel like a part of the Sweat Zone family and for encouraging me when I wasn't in my best fitness level. I love you guys! I came in to try a workout on Saturday. It was HIIT. Brendon was so nice and welcoming. He wanted to know my workout goals. Though you see a lot of pictures of beautifully sculpted women, Brendon emphasizes individuality, health, and performance when he talks to you. In short, it's not just about the looks. It is great to see a male coach remind women of the other reasons of working out.
