Had my daughter's birthday party there and it was horrible! Pre-Covid, service was good. Post-Covid, customer service and employee attitude went down the drain. First, we ordered 5 salads and were given the salad plates. My guest got yelled at by the manager because they had the wrong plates and I told the manager it was their staff's fault for giving us the wrong plates. Second, our party hostess acted like she didn't want to be there. Saw her maybe about 3 times over the 2 hour period. Got more communication from the other party hostess that were in charge of the party next to us. Didn't leave a tip after spending $400 dollars for non-existing service. Third, food arrived 1 hour after we arrived and it was cold. Fourth, most of the games were out of order and Fifth, the place we're dirty, floors were super sticky and the tables were not cleaned. I had to clean the tables we used ourselves. Chuck E Cheese is not the same as it use to. I would give 0 stars but Yelp won't allow that. Don't go there unless you want to be frustrated or upset with them. I will not return. read more

False advertisement. Had gone here and of the last 4-5x never seen chuckecheese come out. He finally comes out and only attended to one party.. immediately after the worker brought him to the back. When she came out, I asked if he comes and says hi to the other kids and I was immediately cut off and told he's only there for that specific birthday party. I mean I only spent $50+ for the kids to have a good time and because I didn't throw a party, the mouse didn't feel the need to go say hi to all the other kids there patiently waiting or even do a lap around the game area. The advertising sign says he comes out every 30 mins but only seen him one time in 2.5 hrs and he didn't even go beyond 25 feet from the back closet he came out of. Smh read more

I was skeptical about visiting a Chuck E. Cheese after a bad experience at another location but I was in the area with my family doing some last minute Christmas shopping and I am so glad I stopped in! I was greeted at the front door with a friendly smile and wonderful service all throughout our visit, Dominique and Ricardo were very helpful on helping me find the best deals that suited myself and my family. Me and my son always have a blast here at chuckie cheese. It is located near Troke Library in which we frequent often and occasionally swing by to visit Chuckie after. The games have been upgraded and my son seems to have a great time. Only downside is that it could be messy but that obviously doesn't bother the kids as much as it does the adults As parents, if my child is having fun, I'm definitely having fun ! 5-10$ of credit play could last me and my son over an hour of awesome fun. read more

The pizza was good and expensive. I dont suggest the stuffed crust. The problem I have with this establishment is how dirty it is. The bathroom is filthy like a park restroom. There was toliet paper with poop all over. All the tables were dirty. No napkins in the dispenser. The soda fountain looked like a breeding ground for mold. WOW. We went in around 12pm. It's my son's birthday today. We were expecting a great time! The staff was not pleasant, they seemed as if they didn't care about the customers or their jobs! The soap dispensers had sanitizer in them! That means no one in the women's restroom were actually washing their hands! Not only Is that disgusting, that's unsanitary! Corporate needs to take a look at this place. The employees uniforms are so unprofessional, jeans, seriously?! They brought out our pizzas using dirty mittens, none of the employees were full of energy, they looked like they hated their jobs! Definitely not coming back. I will admit it, I am a fan of the rat, ie: Chuck. I remember going to CEC when I was little, but my MOM always hated the noise so I didn't get to go much. I loved those mechanical characters they had...ahhhh meeemmmoooorriiesss.... Since this chuck was built a few years ago, I have been here just for fun, I have had numerous birthday parties here and I have been to numerous parties here. Let's start with my favorite aspect of CEC: TOKENS! Every single game is ONE token. Awesome. Nothing like the shitty ass rip off John's Not so Edible or Incredible games...at Johns, you buy a "debit" card and slide it through the machines. Their games are never ONE credit, they are 3.4 or 2.5 or 4 or whatever rip off they can think up. Anyway, back on course, go to chuck for the tokens. The pizza? Ehhh, I have had better. It certainly does not compare to Round Table, but what kind of pizza can you expect from a giant rat? They do have the salad buffet for $6.99, which I think is rather expensize, but whatever. It's fine as far as salads go. I love the fact that they stamp our hands when we enter the door, and they check the numbers when we leave. Trust me, I am not taking any more kids home with me! We have enough! But yay for the safety factor. John's doesnt compare! Remember when Chucks used to be completely dark and no windows? Not this place. Windows everywhere, it is well lit. I usually book the kids' bday parties online, super easy and they send you coupons when you sign up, so that is super sweet. They have a host that pretty much does the party so I can sit back and relax. I have had hosts' that really slack and some that havent.... If you get a party, my only suggestion is not to order the Chuck bday cake. It is freakin nasssttyyy and dry. Ugh, its horrible. And I am a cake lover, never turn down a chocolate cake. They did change it recently, but there is no way in hell I am going to try it. NO WAY. They also have a deal for tokens for good grades...hey, whatever works to get thems kids smarter so they can MOVE OUT! All in all, I would go here over John's anyday. Was helped right away, it was clean and getting here at 11am on a week day there was no crowd. Now we all know when you come to Chuck E. Cheese you aren't coming for the pizza. But they have improved the pizza. The plus of their pizza - thin crust, cheesy and served so HOT you have to wait a second to eat it. I so appreciate this as I HATE being served cold or barley warm food. This was NOT the worst pizza in Stockton, it was served hot, had a nice buttery crust, lots of cheese and a good tasting sauce only complaint it needed more pepperoni. The salad bar is excellent $6.99 all you can eat. Look for coupon online for $2 off salad. Look for coupon period it's very expensive here!! They no longer use token but electronic card system and I figure this means more money for them which equals more expensive for us. Overall a decent pizza, lots of games for your kids, free refills on soda. Being there aren't many options for kids to play if you get good coupons, and beat the crowd it's not too bad here. read more

I approached the manager and ask for empty bags, what she responded got me really mad. "Bags are $2.00"... I said "for empty bags"?to what she replied "everything cost money". For 59 dollars I got one large and one family size which had a few extra slices, 4 cups and 900 points for kids to plays. Pizza was really thin and didn't fill me up. But the kids didn't complain because there not paying for it. And that rat comes out once a hour for a few minutes, at least he can do is keep the restrooms clean with all that free time. read more

I have to say the employees did a good job at keeping the tables clean. We had 2 xl pizzas for our party of 12 and it was more than enough. Just recently did a reservation there for my daughter's bday and for the price and service, absolutely NOT worth it! We spent 400 at this place of garbage, it was jammed pack, we got drinks to our party table 40-45 minutes after reservation, lady never came back to refill. It was a total disaster, half of my party left because it was ridiculous and no service. We were planning to order more food, appetizer, etc., we had to go to the front desk to order and wait 20 min. in line. I will never again do another party nor be back! Totally not worth it! i hate leaving negative reviews, but after coming here about once a month for the past year with my daughter, i thought it was time. the stockton chuck e cheese is so bad compared to the others, such as elk grove and sacramento. its often dirty, half of the games are usually broken, pizza not very good, prizes not very good. etc. its also a lot smaller with less variety. chuck e cheese rarely comes out when they say..often see groups of kids waiting when his song comes on, but he never comes. staff doesnt seem to like working there. overall, very small children will still have fun running around, and since there is not a lot to do with young kids in stockton, they will still get business, just wish they would try a little harder. i highly reccomend going to the elk grove one instead read more

This joint is straight up throw-back from da 90's. Anybody who didn't know disneyland knew chuck e. cheese's. In fact my 2 year old nephew was aquainted with "chuck e. cheese's" before he knew the word "Carrot". So yes, this is where the full, no-man, wired, glitching band parodies came from. I loved it all when it was located on the corner of Pershing/March, and when the band would play, and I would get my tokens, and the spotlights! Even though we would be too poor to afford the pizzas, we would eat somewhere else before, and then indulge poppin dem tokens in all our favorite video games (mine was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and the Michael Jackson thriller video games). So happy to say, if you want your kids to be uncreative for a day, and to have their A.D.H.D. serviced, please do them a favor, and take them here. This place is a notch above John's Incredi-poser-ble Pizza, and features the one and only socially acceptable enough rat to allow your kids get enamored over (I would consider Mickey to be a rat too, but i'll start a fight with folks over that one). read more

Anita Mercadi (the general manager) needs more training when it comes to dealing with the general public. She assumed my boyfriend was intoxicated after half a beer because it was knocked over by a ball while playing the MLB game. With that logic, does a child get cut off of soda for spilling? Bottom line, your company is geared towards children so i would think that "accidents happen" would come to mind and it makes us regret even trying to do the right thing by making them aware. She was also aggressive when my girlfriend went up to get her second beer. There's just better ways of dealing with customers and unfortunately this women doesn't have it. We're all in our 30's with good jobs so why she feels the need to regulate on paying customers in such a condescending manner is beyond me.
