Frankly, a single male with no children and one cat like myself should not really be dining at Chuck E. Cheese! However, yesterday when I went to the Home Depot across the street to pick up a few things, I saw a really sad-looking Chuck E. Cheese, devoid of all but two cars but with signage indicating that they are still open, and are selling large pizzas or small wings for $5 each. I have not had Chuck E. Cheese since I was a child in grade school, so I decided that this COVID-19 environment is a good time to order a takeout pizza from them. After all, they probably appreciate the business right now. There is a number on the door to place an order, and it was promptly answered. Large pizzas were indeed $5 but toppings are an additional $2 each. Pepsi products are served at Chuck E. Cheese but I did not order a drink. I ordered a large pizza with Canadian Bacon and the employee on the line said to come into the building in about 10 minutes. Ten minutes have passed and I entered the restaurant and the lady knew what I ordered and it was ready. They practiced social distancing inside, with a Plexiglass barrier installed between the cashier and customer. After paying, another employee came out from the kitchen with my pizza and I was ready to go. The pizza came in a rather generic box, that reads "Life Tastes Better With Pizza," with an illustration of a pizza shaped like the State of Texas. I didn't really understand it, since we are about 30 miles inside Louisiana, but I presume that Chuck E. Cheese sourced whatever boxes are available at the time. In any case, it kept the pizza well for me to take home. At home, the pizza stayed hot and fresh, and was clearly something I expect kids to enjoy: A no-frills pizza with a good crust, a lot of mozzarella cheese, and ample amount of toppings. Perhaps a little on the bland side for my more sophisticated palate for pizza, but fortunately I had some crushed red pepper from a prior pizza run that I used which made a difference. Overall, as we are in this COVID-19 business environment, it was a good time for me to try out a place I normally would not patronize. The pizza gave me positive childhood memories, and I would definitely encourage others to support this and similar business during these difficult times. read more

Had a birthday party here and was a little reluctant. It broke all previous reputations. It was clean, organized, and our party host Jayla was a life saver. I'm sure we ran her ragged, but she did an amazing job. read more

We were greeted fast upon walk in. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. The store was super clean and all the games were on working order. My kids loves having the place to themselves. We came from eating so didn't eat this time but the said bar was immaculate and had so many options. read more

The management here sucks. We won the bonus on a game and the games failed to register the win. We alerted the management to basically get called liars and to be told their machine is broken so they won't do anything. There was nothing saying it was broke and it was still accepting play, everything seemed to be in order until I won. read more

This location leaves a lot to be desired in the cleanliness and service categories. Cleanliness- many of the booths have torn fabric or are broken so that you fall in when sitting down. The men's restroom was absolutely filthy and stunk. I do appreciate the fact that they have a kids height sink and urinal. Service- during the visit one of the machines "malfunctioned." By malfunction I mean the staff decided it was paying out too many tickets and shut the machine down. This in and of itself isn't a problem except they shut the machine down while some people still had tickets due to them. Overall this wasn't the kind of experience you would expect in a facility that is designed to cater to kids. read more

I've been to more than one Chuck-E-Cheese expedition in the past few years cause I have kids...it's been a trying experience. Sure, the kids love it and go nuts over the games where you win tickets. I can see how this place may be fun for the 5 to 10 year old crowd, but for adults, it's a migraine waiting to happen. I distinctly remember the words "complete and utter chaos" coming to mind. As I said, I have kids....I love my kids....but other people's kids, not so much....especially the rascals that cut in line, try to steal my kids tokens or tickets, or sit at a game with no credits just pretending to play the demo while my kid waits patiently. (This actually happened and the kids mother was standing with him...uhh hello?) Don't even get me started on the cleanliness of said children.... Cost not withstanding, it's really not too bad of an adventure for the kids every now and then when they aren't busy, but dose up on the headache meds before attempting to attend a birthday party here at peak time on a Saturday. Unlike some CECs, this location doesn't have a whole lot of options for the younger ones other than the random 'whack-a-mole'. For parties, the staff does a decent job keeping things moving along. The pizza is edible, but far from good. Not impressed, not worth the headache.....a solid two stars.... read more

If I could rate lower, I would. The pizza is ok-but the games are a rip off. Most don't work correctly. Most take your money and spit out one ticket. You spend a small fortune to collect pure JUNK in return. Seriously. We spent $60 and got a sticker, a tootsie roll, and a CHEAP paper bookmark. Absolute ripoff. read more
