Dr. Kim took the time to get to know me and my dental history before doing a very thorough cleaning and check up. She had some recommendations for me around doing a flouride treatment at home because I have very weak teeth (which I've been told by every dentist I've ever gone to) and she was never pushy and I never felt like I was being "sold" on anything. Her staff is also very friendly and helpful. The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful when it came to insurance questions and right off the bat, made helpful recommendations about which dental plan was better, as my husband and I were recently married and going to move one of us to the other's insurance plan. Going to the dentist isn't usually a pleasant experience, but it doesn't cause me any anxiety or stress to head in to see Dr. Kim!

PTDC takes a lot of different types of insurance and has no qualms about working with cash-pay patients as well. Not only is he kind, genuine and personable, but he is incredibly professional. He is completely aware of the stress and anxiety people have about going to the dentist and he makes your trip that much easier. I never have any kind of stress even when I'm going in for a follow up appointment. He is constantly communicating what he's about to do and always gives you an overview at the beginning of your appointment and reminds you of the steps he's going to be taking throughout your appointment and how long each step will take; he is completely clear and concise. He'll let you know if you'll be experiencing the slightest discomfort and when all of the hard parts are over! He's also very good at letting you know what things are going to cost and the front desk staff is great about letting you know what your insurance will and will not cover.
