Always a great time at CHS Field! We usually go to at least one Saints game a year, and they're always a blast. This year, we got Harry Potter themed night tickets! It was fun to see the players wearing custom themed jerseys, and get our cool custom HP house scarves. I was kinda bummed they didn't do HP themed games between innings, but I still appreciate the commitment to different themes throughout the year - and all the entertainment between innings! We had bleacher GA seats which were quite a ways away from the action over in left field, so I'd definitely upgrade to pick our seats next time. There are plenty of good spots closer! I do like hanging in the grassy area sometimes though, and just walking the concourse. I'd say I prefer the food selection at Target Field, but there are some good classic food items here! Just be ready to pay the higher ballpark rate. This is a summer highlight for me - and the CHS team rocks it!

My husband & I love catching Saints games at CHS; the field is really nice & the stadium is always clean. It feels like there isn't a bad seat in the house, everything is super close to the action. We have previously come on their $2 beer nights, which are a fun promo. Outside of that, they have pretty typical stadium drinks prices ($13 for a domestic 20oz). The kiosks mostly seem to be run by volunteers, which is cool, & they're always super friendly. I love the value you get at a Saints game, it can't be beat!

CHS field is such a great stadium. Honestly not a bad seat in the house to watch a St Paul Saints game. Make sure you wear sunscreen if you've got seats in the 114-122 sections. The food is decently priced and we love Snuffy malts on a hot summer day! There are fun mascots and games in between innings. The baseball museum is neat and overall just a great little gem in the middle of downtown Saint Paul. Street parking is free on Sundays!

This is such a great stadium (although secretly I miss the Saints' former field location). You can easily see from any seat in the house and they put on a good time. However, I had to take off a star because the food lines are just too long! Not sure what they can do, maybe add more vendors, or more efficiencies somehow? Maybe online ordering so you can pick up when ready? It was almost impossible to walk around because there were so many people queued up in line.

We recently had our group team event watching the St Paul Saints play against Indianapolis Indians. We had a great food and beverage package and also a great double header for the night. I highly recommend to at least experience a night as even if you're not a baseball fan, you can certainly find ways to enjoy a simple baseball match anytime!

I've been to baseball games and company events here, this month they are doing a haunted tour called Lowertown terror. Entrance via 1 gate where there's an usher to scan your ticket. Tickets can be purchased online through their website. Not too many food options available, only one concession was open that sold nachos, cheese curds, hotdogs and pretzel. Otherwise drinks and alcohol is available. There's a check in station once you enter and you'll have to fill out a waiver form, after completion you'll get a wristband with a number written on it. That number will be your group number to go downstairs for the haunted tour. Upstairs is more of self service, just hangout and wait until your group is called. Tour goes through the hallways and locker room with zombies popping out and acting like mobster. I didn't think it was scary, just jumped here and there when the zombies jumped out. Then there's a couple of photo opportunities at the end.

This is a beautiful stadium. We got tickets for the club level that includes food and drink and we're excited to check it out. I've been in club level for other sporting games around US and was always impressed with selection of food. This one wasn't as exciting. The views and the high glass walls were amazing since the night was pretty chilly. They also had propane heaters in an outdoor high top area. The club space is comfortable and very nice. The door man that let us up the stairs was beyond friendly and we enjoyed him a lot. Food: The had a small circular area in the middle with food. 2 types of Hot dogs, hamburgers, Coleslaw, baked mac and cheese, potato salad, corn, Caesar salad, fruit and veggies/ dip. Oh yeah... and a carving station with roast beef. I don't eat beef or pork, so there weren't many options for me. The potato salad was yummy and extra mustardy. The coleslaw and the Caesar salad wasn't good. The dressings had an odd aftertaste. The Mac and cheese was creamy, but had a ton of breadcrumbs. I wish they had chicken or Turkey at the carving station or chicken wings/ nuggets. I understand they can't make everyone happy, but it was very beef focused. Drinks: they had a bunch of N/A available: coffee, water and lemonade at a table to serve yourself. You could go to the bar for sodas. My teen got a Shirley temple. They had grenadine! :) Alcohol (included): 2 options of wines- Chardonnay and Cabernet. 3 tap options - Budweiser, Michelob Golden Light and a brown ale. The chard wasn't horrible! (Gallow). We ventured down to see if other food options sounded exciting and they didn't. They have the basic hot dog/ burger/ chicken tenders type food. We did purchase some mini donuts/ dippin dots. (Without realizing they had ice cream sandwiches and cookies upstairs in club for free). We didn't regret our purchases. We walked around the stadium before the fireworks started and saw there was an area with campfires and s'mores kits in the outfield. We will look into these tickets in the future! What a fun idea!

I have been here a handful of times to watch the St Paul Saints. I've had a great time each visit. The last time I had won tickets to sit in the club level. This is the way to watch baseball. Free food stations and open bar. Food included pasta, carved ham, Caesar salad, roasted potatoes, veggies, and many other buffet options. If you want ball fare, they have that too with brats, hotdogs, and popcorn. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Seats are protected from bad weather. You can sit inside and enjoy cool air conditioning or sit outside on a balcony overlooking first base. Great place to watch games.

Saints games are always a blast and the entire facility is great to walk around while watching the game. Last time was pretty chilly, so glad they had hot chocolate to warm up a little. If you're looking for some good food, I totally recommend the Von Hansens Sausage Haus. The Brat Favre is full of jalepeno cheese and super flavorful. I also enjoy the Craft Beer area behind the left field corner area. So many great local craft beers. You can get front row tickets for about $20, so amazing deals for some minor league Twins action.

This was our first time at CHS Field to attend a St. Paul Saints game. The stadium has nice walkways which make it easy to navigate through crowds. I was impressed with the variety of foods and beverages available compared to other AAA baseball venues I've been to before, and the pricing is comparable. Also nice to see plenty of bathrooms so lines weren't long. All areas of the stadium that we saw were clean, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

Beautiful open-air field with lots of local MN food vendors on-site including Snuffy's Malt Shop and Ginkgo's Coffee House. There is even a small museum in this field which will give you the history of the Saint Paul Saints. Tickets are usually easy to find and my most recent recommendation is to buy the standing room only tickets which basically allow you to walk around the entire parameter or sit on the upper hill field. I enjoy this more as there's no commitment to sit for the entire game and it's more cost efficient! There are still plenty of great standing spots to catch the game so don't let this fool you. The entire ball park is clean and still has the entertainment piece heavily involved with the fans and mascot, Mudonna. Typically there are fireworks at the end so if this interests you, make sure you stick around. Enjoy!

Fries from Fries and Pies. Crunchy outside soft inside, so good!

My first time at the CHS field! The club is lovely and most importantly has AC for those who don't like to sit in the scorching sun like me . I got the best fries I've ever had ! They have a great staff as well.

The saints stadium is way nicer than I expected it to be! It has everything you need but it's not over the top with prices or non traditional options for food. $2 beer night on Thursday's is a vibe and my friends and I sat on the grassy area so all in all a super cheap night of fun and entertainment. My friends grilled cheese, my brat, and my boyfriends malt were all great and as expected. I love that they have a huge selection of craft beers as well. Definitely a Minnesota summer staple! And nice to have a much more low key and affordable atmosphere for a summertime baseball game.

I'm new to discovering The Trailhead at Theodore Wirth Regional Park, but believe me when I say I'll be back many more time. In the winter, they offer cross-country skiing and lessons. (You can rent a full set of gear for about $30- no need to have your own to experience skiing! They also have à la carte options for cheaper if you only need poles or boots, etc.) Besides skiing, outdoor winter activities also include snow tubing, snowboarding, snowshoeing.... You name it. (I haven't been in fall or summer yet, but I also hear great things about their mountain biking and trail running options.) Inside The Trailhead, there's food and drink concessions, ample seating, lockers, bathrooms, and even rooms for rent. The last time I was there, a family was hosting a young child's birthday party in the multi-purpose room. Altogether, there is an amazing assortment of services here to come and check out. At $15 per person, I expected more than what turned out to be a rushed experience. The tour was advertised as an hour but barely lasted 40 minutes. We spent a significant amount of time sitting at round tables in regular rooms, which felt like filler. With punny jokes from the tour guide. Out of the entire tour, we were in the actual caves for maybe 20 minutes at most. We spent some time discussing the benches were used for mushroom growth. Then Dillinger's favorite car was inside the cave which really felt like a garage. That we walked right by with no mention of. Then there was small hallway that was filled with trash at the end that was the entrance to an old speakeasy. I have to say it's not bad if you're looking to kill time but you can easily skip this stop. While the history shared was interesting, it felt like we didn't get the immersive experience we were hoping for. Overall, it wasn't worth the price, and I left feeling disappointed. There is a small private parking lot for the caves. It seems most people do the tour and the gangster tour together.

The flowers were gorgeous and organic and the catered food was delicious from salad to dessert. It's not an inexpensive venue, but it is warm and intimate once you get here. Using it as a meeting space wasn't the greatest, since the speakers had power point presentations with lots of writing, and because the seating had to be deep and narrow, it was hard for those in the back. Our experience with A'BULAE was deeply disappointing and marked by a pattern of unprofessionalism,…read morepoor communication, and last-minute chaos that no couple should have to endure on their wedding day. When we initially booked A'BULAE, we were impressed by the concept of an all-inclusive venue with dedicated vendors and day-of support. Unfortunately, what followed was a series of issues that culminated in a wedding day that felt disorganized and unsupported, despite all our planning efforts. 1. Cocktail hour bar service was severely understaffed, with only two bartenders for nearly 200 guests. Long lines led many guests to skip drinks entirely, despite this being a prominently featured and premium service. 2. Event coordination was lacking across the board. Our final updates were never reflected in the event documents. Tables and centerpieces weren't set when we arrived. Our monogram was never displayed. The rehearsal was completely unstructured, and our multiple attempts to hire a day-of coordinator were ignored. 3. Dinner was delayed by over an hour, with numerous guests receiving cold entrées. This disrupted the timeline and detracted from the guest experience. 4. The early access suite was not ready when we arrived, and no staff were present (at least not any that had any idea what was going on) during the hours we paid premium price for. Beverages ordered in advance for the morning were delivered far too late to be enjoyed. 5. Three uninvited individuals gained access to our wedding, ate and drank, and were caught smoking marijuana on the patio. No staff intervened; a family member had to address it. When we raised this afterward, management acknowledged that their security staff had no way to identify or remove uninvited individuals -- raising serious concerns about the purpose and effectiveness of security. In response to our feedback, the General Manager stated that they would use our wedding as a "learning experience" for future events. While perhaps well-intended, this reaction felt dismissive and insufficient given the seriousness of the issues. Even after the wedding, itemized receipts have not been provided, despite repeated requests. After discussing what steps were needed to rectify these grievances, there was yet another administrative error and significant delay, that has put us in a position today - nearly two months later, where we are still waiting on A'BULAE to follow through on promises made in writing. For a venue that promises high-end, all-inclusive coordination, A'BULAE failed to deliver on the most basic expectations. Communication was unreliable throughout the planning process, and the burden of managing key details ultimately fell on us and our families. We would not recommend A'BULAE to other couples.

Such a grand building looks like it could do with a lot more passenger train traffic than it actually gets. But I love coming here, no matter what the reason! There are two busy multi-state Amtrak lines that pass through here. It is also served by local bus routes (Metro Transit, etc.) and national ones like Megabus and Greyhound. The bus platforms are close to the train platforms and are easy to negotiate, and the light rail station is out on 4th Street directly in front. There is a pickup-dropoff area on Kellogg, one floor down from the main hall, where it's easy to get taxis and rideshares, and there is a Hertz rental car place down there as well. There are some shops and a restaurant! Check out my review of 1881 Eating House on their separate Yelp page, but there is a bike shop, a book shop, a toy train shop, and a travel store to check out. We booked all three rooms back in Fall of '23 and paid our deposit and were excited to get planning come May this year. We got to a month before the event and hadn't heard anything from the Event Coordinator regarding current menu, bar, timing, anything. Three weeks prior to the event we reached out and heard nothing for a week. Two weeks out we followed up and found out the Event Coordinator had changed from the one we booked with and the new one was out for an indeterminate period of time with a family emergency. We worked as best we could with the Event Captain but ended up with incorrect menus and pricing and were finally told the Event Coordinator would be back the Monday of our event week and it would be handled then. We got finalized menus and pricing 36 hours before our event. This was extremely stressful, however, we empathized with the Event Coordinator and were assured the event itself would be great. On the day, we arrived and the staff setting up was unsure how many chairs we wanted. They didn't know which equipment we had paid for to use that needed to be set up. They didn't know what the event was for. They were all very nice and let us know they had extremely limited information about our event which was very concerning for us. The Event Coordinator was present for about 5 mins to ask us about a backup wine if ours ran out and that was it (it did run out because there was only one bottle). There was no Event Captain, and the Coordinator was not on hand and (according to staff) unreachable during the event. We had agreed upon several things including a finite amount to pay for "open bar" and then switching to card after that point and we found out only AFTER we met our minimum that they were never told/weren't prepared to take cards. At that point, our options were no drinks (N/A or otherwise) for the last 3 hours or so of our event or we could just keep paying. So we ended up paying much more than was quoted/agreed upon due to lack of communication/oversight. We were told that guests could visit the attached Blue Stem bar, but it closed two hours before our event ended. We also had guests with dietary preferences/restrictions and had ordered vegan options and gluten free cake. We had asked if these could be explicitly labeled to avoid confusion and were told "yes" and on the day it did not happen so many of our guests were unaware there was anything they could eat at our reception. We were also told we could take our leftovers home and we only got cake when there was a lot of food left when they took it away. The sternos were out for some period of time and we couldn't find someone to help with that. The bar was left unattended. The bartenders were serving and refilling alcohol table to table (which we did not want or ask for), and did not pass appetizers as agreed upon. We reached out to the owner, twice, following our event to discuss our concerns to no avail. We LOVE French Meadow and are just heartbroken to have had this experience with them. Posting this (very lengthy) review in hopes no one else goes through this expensive disappointment.

All of French Meadow's staff were so lovely to work with. Briana and the entire catering group were so helpful from Day 1. They answered every one of our questions in a timely manner and were thorough in coordinating all of the details of our special day. The day of our wedding, everyone there was immensely helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We truly owe them the world for making our wedding day so special! The room is perfect. We added floral centerpieces, but the room itself was setup exactly how we wanted, the chairs outside were moved once for our ceremony and then again for our first dance. The lighting both inside and out was more than we could have imagined. We were able to play our own music (a friend just had to manage the playlist), which was super easy! The FOOD, OH MY GOSH THE FOOD! So superb, we got so many compliments from our friends and family about how wonderful the food was. We got to choose 4 food options for our guests and only heard wonderful things about each entree. The cake was also super wonderful and delicious. We would recommend the Nord Room to anyone looking for an intimate wedding location. It was such an easy day (seriously, nothing went wrong!) and we couldn't have asked for a better staff or location. We had a beautiful day and we owe much of that to the wonderful folks at French Meadow!
