There was a second story with a staircase that was strategically located within the hall that could only truly be appreciated as the bride (looking absolutely stunning) was being presented to her groom, descended the staircase. It definitely seems to be very community focused which I loved and the workers seemed to know most people by name too! The art and decor inside was beautiful and loved how they have snacks and drinks to keep people fueled as they work. The Coven is a warm, inviting community & work space for women, non-binary, and trans people. You check in on the first floor greeted by friendly, helpful faces. They are open weekdays 8-8 and have a St Paul space in the works! They have so many interesting topics for speakers just sign up online for one of their many happenings. You can join and be a member. They also have a ton of merch vendors inside as well. While waiting for our food we decided to go see what the inside looks like where they do the shows and there wasn't much going on at the time. One of these years I'll try to catch a show as I guess it's part of the fair experience. You basically just walk in and sit wherever, which is nice. There's entrances and seats everywhere.

I was genuinely impressed with how clean and well-kept the entire fairgrounds were. Everything felt organized and family-friendly. There's so much to see! Animals, live music, tons of food vendors offering classic fair eats (and more), along with a great mix of local small businesses and larger vendors selling everything from handmade goods to services. The ride and game section was full of energy -- definitely fun for kids and adults alike. I think we'll be adding this to the family tradition for the beginning of August -- it's a great way to wrap up the summer. Lots of great animal barns to check out (cows, pigs, roosters, bunnies, also pony and camel rides. There are helicopter rides. Lots of great food vendors to choose from. Today we had fried pickles, cotton candy, lemonade, soda...etc. We also love the kiddo rides. We opted into tickets this year vs an all you can ride wristband. It's also fun to talk to all the other vendors with stages, etc.
