And it is worth every single penny! Every class feels like a mix between a comedy show, a workout, and a mild exorcism. The instructors are basically personal trainers with main character energy -- they'll destroy your quads, hype you up like a rockstar, and still make you laugh mid-burpee. I came here for fitness. I stayed because therapy is more expensive, and honestly, my abs haven't stopped crying (or laughing) since. You'll never regret walking in the doors.

The instructors lead everyone in a group warm up first and then we were split into groups to take turns with the apparatuses. I felt more naturally inclined with the silks and got to try out some beginners tricks! The pole fitness was a little harder for me but still a fun challenge. The instructors for both halves were helpful and encouraging. They have a variety of class rates (as low as $15/class) and a wide schedule of classes between this location and their new studio in Fountain Square. I'd definitely try a full silks class again!

Wild Orchid has a somewhat hidden location, and doesn't look like it should be there. It's in almost a garage and has plenty of parking. From the outside, it is pretty inconspicuous, but on the inside, Wild Orchid has a very vibrant and clean atmosphere. Taking proper precautions for COVID, stations for each student were spread 6 feet apart and there were sanitizing stations and sanitizing procedures taken before and after our class. The class itself was fabulous. Anita instructed our class of mostly novices and did an excellent job of both being engaging and breaking down the basics. I definitely struggled with some of the techniques she presented, and she ensured that I felt confident in myself and corrected what I was doing. I highly recommend looking into taking classes at Wild Orchid, whether it be as a group or as an individual. It really pushed me out of my comfort zone and I am looking forward to returning soon!

I like this dance studio. My daughter takes dance lessons here and loves the classes, the studio,…read morethe dances, and the instructors. My daughter is on her second year here. It has built her confidence by giving her accomplishments that she can show us. They have found her strengths and let her be strong with them. They have found her weaknesses and made them better and taught her not to be afraid of them. This last weekend (early November), there was a two hour free dance night in exchange for a good drive. My son went to the free night with my daughter. He didn't really want to go, but when we showed up to watch what he learned, my son was excited and had a great time. When he left, he was hugging the instructors and telling them thank you. I can say that it can seem hectic when it is time to drop off and pick up. It is a busy place with a small-medium waiting area. But, I will also say that once you come here, you'll learn the rhythm and realize that there is an order to it all. This is my place!!!…read more Sho'Time is super welcoming and incredibly energetic. The owner, Sho, is a natural teacher and incredibly fun. After growing up with intense dance instruction at other studios, Sho'Time is a breath of fresh air. There are hip hop, body sculpt, barre, and dance fusion classes- I honestly love all of them. I'm sore after each one! Sho always plays great, new music and is constantly teaching new moves and awesome choreography. The prices are great as well- college students only had to pay $60 for the whole summer this time around! You will love coming here and make some great friends as well. Highly recommend!

Her instructor Rochelle is engaging, kind, and supportive of the kids and overall it has been such a wonderful experience. It's clear from the caliber of the studio and the high quality of classes, that all the instructors and co-owners take pride in what they do and conduct the studio with professionalism. Ashley and Suzann are true professionals, both with incredibly impressive dance backgrounds and education. Their love of ballet and care for their students shines through every aspect of CIAoD. We're looking forward to the spring recital, summer camps and can't wait until our youngest is old enough to join the CIAoD family as well. We gave him a short timeframe to come up with a first dance for our…read morewedding and he has made the process fun, engaging, and easy to build upon new aspects of our dance every time we've come in. We've enjoyed working with him so much, that we have signed up for additional classes after the wedding to continue to work with him and explore additional dance styles. To be honest, we both have grueling jobs and this experience has allowed us to relax while learning something new and we genuinely leave in a much better mood than we were when we first get there and if that doesn't convince you to check this place out (beyond the initial first meeting, which is totally different than the first actual dance lesson), then it's (respectfully) your loss.
