I don't write reviews lightly, but I believe people deserve as much information as possible when choosing who to receive Botox injections from. A good friend of mine experienced severe botulism poisoning after receiving Botox injections at this facility. Within days, she developed rapidly worsening symptoms that ultimately landed her in the ICU. Thankfully, her PCP was able to order emergency botulism antitoxin that was flown in from the CDC. When she began reporting concerning symptoms to her injector, she was reassured that what she was experiencing could not be related to the Botox injections. To my knowledge, her injector texted her to follow up with her, but didn't reach out at all beyond that (such as a phone call) during her hospitalization or recovery. Seven months later, she is still dealing with significant daily health challenges, and has not once heard from the injector. I understand adverse reactions can occur with any medical procedure, even when performed by licensed professionals. But compassionate follow-up, careful listening, and patient support matter just as much as the procedure itself- especially when something goes horribly wrong and ends up changing the course of someone's health and life. If you are considering Botox, I strongly encourage you to research the potential risks thoroughly (drugs .com can be a great resource for this), and ask detailed questions about adverse effects and how your provider would help you if you developed them. Patients deserve informed consent, ongoing care, and support, and should not be left to suffer when something goes wrong. read more

I had such a great experience at Chrome, and I can't recommend them enough especially Michael. He's a true professional, a registered nurse and you can tell right away he's highly trained and takes his work seriously. I brought my adult son because he hasn't been able to keep food down, and I wanted him to get an immunity boost with nutrients. Michael was incredibly thorough and he asked all the right questions, took the time to really understand what was going on, and made thoughtful recommendations for the best IV option. He made us feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for the entire time. The overall experience was smooth, professional, and honestly such a relief. I am in my early forties and I have always taken really good care of my skin. However, I noticed my face was looking gaunt and I didn't know what treatment I should invest in for my concerns. I spent over $800 at Chrome because after speaking to Mary, she guaranteed she could help me with acne scars and blackheads. After 4 different treatments, one of which was so painful I needed her to stop, my skin looked the same. I swear the fine wrinkles were worse! When I called to complain and let them know that I would not bother to come in for the one free treatment I had left after purchasing four, I was told basically, "Wow, that's too bad. Very disappointed that I wasted all that money when I should have just been informed that she couldn't help me and to go somewhere else or just put that money towards a nice vacation. I have been in the botox game for a little while. I'm educated in the difference in all of the products offered. Of all the places I've been in Albuquerque, Chrome was the nicest. It was my first time visiting this establishment and my first time being injected by Barb. Barb was professional, educated, polite and respectful. It's been less than 48 hours since my Dysport injections, and I already see a difference. I'm so excited to be a new client here. I also got to see another of Barb's clients with fresh lip injections. This young lady's lips looked amazing! I cannot wait to get my lips done! I finally found a great place to keep me fresh. I'm a Medical Provider and when I started Botox and facial injection's, I was very particular about who I would choose to be my injector and consult with about my face. The first injector I went to was a Plastic Surgeon and I was very unhappy and disappointed with the results. My eyebrows were uneven and had a spooked look. I learned about Marissa at Chrome from a mutual friend in healthcare who has been going to her for years. I had a lot of other really good options to fix my face being in healthcare and after seeing the results of a trusted friend, I consulted with Marissa at Chrome and have been going to her for several years. My first visit went okay. I received botox, under eye fillers and juvederm for my lips. I received an excellent price for all 3 procedures. Unfortunately the under eye fillers left me looking worse then prior. When I shared my concern I was told it would improve. In the meantime I scheduled another appointment for the V-Shot for $1200 and additional botox. After arriving home and looked at my bill I noticed I was way overcharged. After contacting Chrome and after several conversations Chrome offered me Kybella at no charge. In the meantime under my eyes continued looking bruised and the same. When I shared with Chrome my continued concern, I was attempted to be deceived with inaccurate pictures. When confronted finally Barbara admitted the pictures were not accurate and not actually before and after shots. The Kybella procedure I received at no charge after several weeks of bruising and discomfort did not make a change at all. I was continued being lied to and then FINALLY given a credit to my care credit card. But that did not justify or remedy all the deception I endured. read more

I went to Chrome as it was highly recommended by a friend who receives xeomin injections from Marisa that look great so I decided to give it a chance. I had a consultation with Marisa in which she explained that I would do better with dysport than xeomin (although she didn't really explain why even though I asked.) She then went on to do the procedure which was relatively quick and painless and started out looking great but about a week in I could tell that I had been over injected. I have absolutely no range of motion in the upper half of my face. I quite literally cannot raise my eyebrows at all, and my eyelids now look very heavy and droopy due to this. I am so upset with these results as I am 25 years old and having my face completely paralyzed was not necessary. I called and spoke to Marisa on the phone and she did not apologize at all, simply said it would continue to develop over the next week or so and then eventually wear off in a few months. A few months is a pretty long time to not be able to make a single expression. I am disappointed as it seemed like Marisa was knowledgable and professional but not only did she over inject me she did not even apologize. read more
