I am so impressed by this company. they were recommended to me by a friend who had used them in the past to clean a red wine stain from a white couch. We saw a Christopher's truck in our condo parking lot and knew that signaled they were a great company. So for the past three years we have had a service contract that included rug and furniture maintenance and cleaning. The service we received was ALWAYS professional and excellent. From scheduling to arriving on time Christopher's is a 5 star service. They even include several return visits for spills with no additional charge. They maintained our very fussy velvet sectional. Their reputation grew even greater when they resolved a carpet cleaning issue with our viscose bamboo rug. The rug was damaged during in shop cleaning and the color faded. The company immediately took responsibility and then reordered new carpet samples for us to look at in our home. Due to the fragile nature of the rug, a decision was made to upgrade the rug quality to eliminate future cleaning issues. Ms. Tram assisted us and professionally guided us through the process. Exceptional. We had cushions on a screened porch at beach house which had gotten black mold. They were custom made with Sunbrella and I was worried they were beyond cleaning. They came back like new. I could not have been more pleased. Friendly, professional, courteous- pick up and drop off right on time . Not cheap but 100% worth every penny. I could not recommend Christopher's more highly. Lazy, incompetent and trying to sell me on not being able to clean a chair because the fabric is 'too weird'. Had an appointment at 8am which they did arrive promptly for. My cleaning 'expert' seemed lazy and unmotivated from the start. Once he saw what we were having cleaned he said it would be difficult (at $300/hr. you'd think they were so good they could clean anything) because the fabric on the chair was weird and thin??? Asked me what it was and I said, aren't you the upholstery cleaning expert? It's fabric. Linen or something. He said he'd try on a spot so he lugged in his awkward machine, worked for 2-4 minutes and then told me 'this can not be done with anything we have because the fabric is too thin. You need a leather cleaner for this'. Hahaha! Folks, it's fabric. Not leather. Or any animal skin at all. I was annoyed and clearly now knew this individual had no motivation other to say he showed up on time. That's now what exceeds standards in America. Told him thank you and showed him out the door. I went to Target. I purchased a Bissel 'Little Green Machine' spot and stain removing hand held machine for $99 and two bottles of cleaning detergent. I came home and out 15mins of work in on one half of the chair. I've posted a photo for you to see. You be the judge. This business is a joke. Don't ever call them to clean anything. Save the money. Thay are magnificent! Magicians at making stain go away. Walter just came and managed to get a large, hardened slime stain off a WHITE wall-to-wall carpet! My 11-year-old daughter had left it there for three days without telling me. But they did it! We have a new white sofa that got bluejean marks on it. The person who schedules gave us a same day appointment! The guys showed up on time and were very respectful (wore masks, shoe covers etc). They let us know that unlike a liquid spill Jean marks are an ink transfer and may not come out. Luckily their cleaning method worked and 30 minutes later our couch looked brand new! Highly recommend them! It wasn't cheap ($300.), but given the cost of the sofa, well worth having a professional clean it vs us trying some product that may have ruined the sofa. read more

Be careful. We had a gorgeous 15 ft oriental cleaned by Christopher's. Cost over $1000. They ripped up the original fringe. Although they replaced with short fringe, this hurts the carpet value. Recently we used johann and sons. They did a fabulous job for $360.00 and were so knowledgeable about the carpet design, etc. read more

What a great company! The customer service from the inital phone call to the technicians at my house was outstanding. Everyone was very helpful, polite, and courteous. A friend had used them in the past and recommended I called them to get my carpet cleaned (along with a few spots on my furniture from the dog). They arrived on time and did an exceptional job... I have used Christophers for my carpet cleaning for about the last 15 years. They are outstanding! Customer service friendly and very professional. I have also used them for cleaning and storage of my outside patio cushions and umbrellas. They take them in the fall and store them and bring them back clean in the spring. Just had a visit from Christophers to clean 2 chairs and 2 couches - knowing full well that I should have called them a few years earlier. The office called with a timely update on the technicians ETA, and he was here on the dot. The technician thoroughly explained what could and could not be accomplished, leaving it up to me to decide whether or not to proceed with each piece. Results are fabulous - even the one stain that we knew was unlikely to disappear is at least much less noticeable - and the price, at $250, was lower than the estimate. I first used them in 1998, and several friends have turned to Christophers over the years to save both carpets and furniture. They are the best in the business. read more

No stars.If they have five star service, I wouldn't know. They would have had to have non- laughable prices for me to find out.They wanted $300 to clean 12 steps and the landing at my house. Ok, so I had this huge rug in my living room that the dog had really abused. I figured it was a loss but when I started to price out the cost of replacing it I decided to look another direction. I saw Christopher's mentioned in the Washingtonian Magazine (March 2011) as the top carpet cleaning team in the area so decided to give it a shot. They were a bit more expensive than other cleaners but I've learned that quality & service are worth the extra... Christopher's excelled in both areas! The rug is back to normal and I learned a lot about how to take care of it to keep it looking good for years to come. Great customer service. Was completely happy with them, I had used other companies in the past that were more expensive but did a worse job. I am much happier with these guys, they were on time and friendly and very easy to deal with; the end product was remarkable, they did a great job. I've used Christopher's for several years. I use them at my house, my client's houses and also recommend them to friends and clients. They've cleaned "dog" and blood off my custom white sofa! They clean my wool carpet and wool rugs. I have a textile protection plan that covers several rooms in my house & they always respond quickly when I add a new piece of furniture or my sweet 85 pound hound dog sits on the furniture with messy paws. I have tried other services previously but have never looked back since working with Christopher's. read more

Honest and professional. They are not the cheapest carpet cleaners out there but for the price of my carpeting I didn't want cheap, I wanted good quality. They delivered on that front.
