I LOVE THIS DOCTOR!! I'm so glad I made the decision to get my dream nose with Dr Verbin! I asked for the Barbie nose and he delivered. I posted a video of me 2 weeks post op. It's not the final product but it's looking great! Dr. Verbin will remove my stitches in 2 weeks. You can't even see the stitches because it's inside the tip of my nose. Surgery took a couple hours under local anesthesia so I relaxed to some music while they went to work on my face. I slept for almost 24 hrs when I got home. I looked like hideous pig the first week. But I didn't have to take any pain killers even tho Dr Verbin gave them to me. It was only painful to the touch the first week and half. I got a little bit of fat grafting on my temple, forehead, chin, and cheek. Nothing dramatic but it made a WHOLE WOLRD OF A DIFFERENCE! I was on antibiotics for a week. And that tasted gross lol but let's talk about the nurses...The nurses were absolutely AMAZING and so LOVING! They were gentle on me. I had 4 surgeries with Dr.Christopher Verbin on May 16, 2023 1. Was a rhinoplasty ( nose ) Visually he made my nostrils uneven as you can see in the pictures. Currently I have an infection with discharge and have had it ever since surgery. I am seeing an ENT specialist. 2. I had a facelift and it doesn't look any different than before and he made eyebrows uneven. 3. He did Lipo on my ankles and made it worse. Various procedures were done about a decade ago, and I never returned to fix the issues resulting from the first and second surgeries. Dr Verbin was on call at Torrance Memorial for plastic surgery end of October. He does on call work there, like other doctors, so they can get privileges to practice there. On call means when the hospital needs the doctor they are only a phone call away Not Dr Verbin, when needed, he never returned the many calls from the ER team. Pretty deceptive, he gets his ptivledges but leaves ER patients and ER doctors without much needed medical advice. He must think it's okay to leave a patient sitting in the ER 8 hours. That patient, bleeding, waiting for a plastic surgeon was me. Finally, I was lucky to get the dept head to come in early for his shift to suture my face. Seems Verbin ignores his on calls and gets his privileges. I like my doctors more caring and ethical, hope you do also. Try Dr Newman. He came in to the ER at 5am, when Dr Verbin was too Busy. Yes, the ER staff knows he didn't come in, Dr Newman, the head of plastics knows and now you do it!!!! read more

I used Dr. Verbin for a breast reduction and umbilical hernia repair. The thing I liked best about Dr. Verbin is that he is a real surgeon who does emergency repair for the hospital in addition to plastic surgeries. He gets hired for plastic surgery through insurance companies and he does general surgery. He is a highly skilled, well known local surgeon. I knew he'd be good for both my hernia repair and my breast reduction. His office does a lot of follow-up appointments which I appreciated because I had a lot of incisions. Dr. Verbin used a special plastic film with a vacuum seal to help the initial wound healing the first couple of days. It had a small battery-operated suction device to keep the airtight seal along the wounds. This was an amazing device. Unfortunately, I did some housework, got super sweaty, and it started to come off. His office was very patient in repairing it, repeatedly. I noticed immediate relief after the surgery to my hernia discomfort. This was the biggest bonus for me. I was happy to have smaller breasts, but the hernia repair was beautifully done and the benefit was immediate. It hurt less after the surgery than before. I chose to pay out-of-pocket for the hernia repair and use a plastic surgeon because my sister had had hernia repair and she has a Franken scar going down her abdomen. My bellybutton looks mostly untouched even though that's where the surgery was done through. The breast shape with the reduction is very nice. They look super perky. I'm much more comfortable. I am 6 months post op and my breast scars are still mostly visible. Although I can see 10-20% of it has faded to almost my normal skin color and is blending in already. My scars are doing very well and I suspect they won't really be visible in about a year or so. The overall experience was fantastic. Everyone in his office is really nice. I felt very safe throughout the entire procedure and aftercare. read more

I found the physician and his staff to be incredibly unprofessional. I was bullied and humiliated as the staff did not respect my privacy or my body. I had multiple procedures done because I could not remember my poor consultation experience. The physician was on probation at the time of the surgery. He kept refusing to correct flaws because he would have to do them for free. He suggested that I contour, try micro-needles and wear a corset to even out flaws. Doors were left open as I undressed, and insults were made so that I would not return. Because I believed that I was overcharged, I had a second surgery despite my better judgement and found that multiple areas were not fixed as expected. He claimed that I would not have to pay a facility fee during a third surgery, but I was too scared to return to have areas fixed. I could no longer tolerate the harassment, and I was concerned about my well-being. I was left with the following: dark, thick and uneven scars; a bikini line that is too high that makes my pubic area too close to my belly button; a belly button that is not centered; a lower cheek is visibly bigger than the other; and a visible dent caused by a muscle not being repaired. read more

It was under regretful circumstances that I had to meet Dr. Verbin and his staff. My daughter was accidently struck in the forehead by a baseball bat while at her summer camp. After a referral, we immediately went to the 'South Bay Aesthetics Plastic Surgery Center' where we were greeted by Noelle at the front. Her calming voice, and stories of her own family mishaps helped ease the stress and concern I was feeling, and consequently hiding from my daughter. Dr. Verbin came to the front waiting room and quickly interacted with my daughter. His demeanor and ability to connect eased her obvious paranoia for what was to come, stitches. I could not have been more impressed with the efforts made to connect with my daughter and myself, we even "dabbed" at one point - LOL . As the process progressed I learned that Dr. Verbin has a younger son, which spoke volumes to his ability to connect with my daughter. I'm not squeamish so I watched the entire process, which was gut-wrenching only because it was my daughter. Dr. Verbin and his assistant during the process, Kelsey, were a skilled tandem. I could sense an aura of confidence, which made me realize my most prized possession was in great hands. Much like you see on television, Dr. Verbin works with music playing, at one surreal moment, I watched him expertly perform subdermal stitches while humming along with Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. I'm thankful to Dr. Verbin and his staff for the kind nature and professionalism they showed. I'll update my review to share how the recovery (scaring) progresses. I love the staff and Dr. Verbin is a nice man, but my experience didn't turn out to be the best...at all. I had "high def" liposuction that didn't take and I was left with much much more fat than was discussed with fat pockets and love handles still remaining. He did do a fat graft on my chest, which I liked, however there was excess fat left under my pecs and around them which was of a major concern to me and probably the most bothersome area I discussed. I also had lipo of my chin, which I loved, but even that has trickled back in. He did a revision of the original high definition lipo, where I said to just have all the excess fat removed, disregarding any high definition. After only 5 weeks, there is STILL excess fat remaining to my abdomen, love handles and chest, not to mention unsightly scars that he attempted to fix multiple times where I just ended up going to another surgeon I trust to repair and will now have to have my dermatologist laser the damaged ones as well. I'm disappointed that I even have to write this and have had to go through this. Not to mention the expense of his work, a small CHARGE for the revision and now other doctor's fees, visits and more time spent to correcting a big mistake. read more

Today was my first visit to Dr. Verbin's office since I'm WAY overdue for Botox. He has the most friendly and welcoming staff! I was greeted immediately by their lovely receptionist and then met with the doctor and his nurse Brittany. She is super nice and knowledgeable, as is Dr. Verbin. I had my treatment with Brittany and she has a very light hand so it went great- barely felt the injections at all! Overall I had a very pleasant experience and will definitely be back again and recommend them to my friends. Update: My review was immediately following the Ultherapy procedure so I wasn't able to speak to whether it was helpful or not because it was too soon to tell. It's been two years now, and I can tell you that other than a week of swelling that plumped up my skin as I was recovering, there has been NO benefit whatsoever. Unfortunately, this whole experience has been negative, from the excruciating pain I felt during the procedure to the thousands of dollars I threw down the drain for nothing. On top of that, to this very day, Verbin has not once ever contacted me to follow up on how I was feeling or to see if the procedure was effective or not. It would have been nice to have been offered a refund AND AN APOLOGY for the botched procedure, but apparently that is not going to ever happen. :-( read more

I was born with a hemangioma on the bridge of my nose that was removed at age 2. The surgery, performed at what is now Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, was at that time revolutionary, but left an indentation that became progressively more pronounced as I grew up. Dr. Verbin rebuilt the bridge and corrected the symmetry of my nose, so subtly that I retained much of the structural similarities of my parents. It was the nose I would have been born with, had I not had the tumor. I've since had an ENT specialist and general MD comment positively on Dr. Verbin's work during routine check-up's. These objective, unrelated opinions affirmed that the surgery was as precise and successful internally as out, and are deservedly part of my recommendation. His staff should be commended in no small part for guiding me through the administrative details, arranging my appointments and ultimately, providing exemplary care pre- and post-op. I went to Dr Verbin after a friend recommended him to me. After nursing two kids for two years each, and losing a lot of weight from a stressful divorce, my boobs were non existent and very sad. i wanted something natural and that fit my frame, so i could feel comfortable in clothes, bikinis, and being naked! His whole staff is amazing and they all make you feel extremely comfortable from the first moment. He really listens to what you want, and he did an extremely great job in helping me pick the size and shape and style of the implants based on pictures i showed him and what he knew would look good with my body. I did not want them to look fake or overly large/porn star, and i absolutely love them. They are perfect. the surgery itself was easy, organised, clean, low key, and the recovery for me was about 4 days of pain when I woke up in the morning, but i was walking around the house and living a normal life very quickly. I just turned 34 and this is not something I thought i would do, but i am so glad I did, it is worth every penny. And he is the same price as most in this area. I also recently got Sculptra injections in my face to replace lost volume from my weight loss and that comes with getting older. I was initially referred to Dr. Verbin by my gynecologist. She said that he did the best tummy tuck she had ever seen. That spoke volumes to me because who sees more tummies than an OBGYN? However I went in for a consultation regarding how extremely unhappy I was with the outcome of two previous botched surgery from a breast lift. The "anchor scars" that come with a breast lift were hideous and really wide and thick and my nipples were crooked and uneven. He went over every detail regarding how he wanted to proceed. He addressed every concern I had, and I looked better 2 weeks post op than I did 2 years after the previous botched jobs. The new scars were very slight and I haven't even healed completely. I am now 3 months post surgery and my breast look awesome! He is a tremendously skilled surgeon and strives for the best results. He really takes his time in the OR, putting a great amount of care, precision, and skill into his work, to make sure the results are incredible, and the closures are perfect which enables better results and diminished scarring. Which he accomplished hands down! After my post op I received many calls just making sure I was doing ok and if I had any question on recovery. He also did weekly follow ups making sure every inch was healing properly. I'm very grateful for the time he invested in my recovery and progress. I have never received that kind of attention post op from any other surgeon. And I think that assisted in my healing so beautifully. After careful consideration I decided on Dr. Christopher S. Verbin, M.D., Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. It was important to me that Dr. Verbin was an M.D., and that he was experienced in general as well as plastic surgery. I would only trust my face to a qualified doctor. I am 65 years old and wanted a doctor not only skilled in his specialty but a doctor who could handle any unforeseen emergencies. Additionally, Dr. Verbin is experienced in the latest techniques. I opted for a full facelift (from forehead to neck and everything in-between). He also used some of my own fat to replace what I had lost under the eyes and lips due to age. Dr. Verbin is NOT a one-size-fits-all plastic surgeon. He thoroughly analyzed my face and made recommendations for things even I overlooked or didn't think could be corrected. Dr. Verbin works with an excellent anesthesiologist who carefully re-examined my health history prior to the surgery. I was not disappointed with Dr. Verbin's work. I love my new face! I had a mini facelift, it took me a long time to save up for this, he said he would remove my double chin an wrinkles from my upper lip, however he lied, I was left with all my wrinkles and horrible large scars around my neck area and terrible keiloids, when I asked him to help me look better he said he couldn't do anything for me, because I was a smoker and people who smoke are limited when having these kinds of surgeries, also he said the color of my skin was a big factor as well. Dr.Verbin took my money, did not treat me with respect, but instead kept pushing me out of the office saying he had other customers to take care of, and kept using profanity, he was very rude and got very defensive, when I told him I was not satisfied. read more

Dr. Christopher Verbin Plastic Surgery office in Torrance did a facial surgery on me which was terrible. Alot of money and now I have more lines than when I started! Another surgeon looked at his work and said he did unnecesary surgery which was not appropriate but also ended up causing more lines to the face than there were before. He also did a bad job on the nose as well. Very disappointed. Do not go to him. Another friend went to him as well and was very unhappy with the results. My friend did fat injections and it made them look very unnatural and ugly. The doctor that I went to for his help said that Dr. Christoper Verbin is on Medical Probation as well for violations! I first visited Dr. Verbin in the spring of '10 for an evaluation on aging face. Being 46 at the time, I want to look my best and felt the changes I was seeing in my face were less than welcoming.
