We have been in our house (1329 sq ft) 19 years and wanted to update it and make it stylish. By his yelp reviews and being listed as one of the top 10 designers in Las Vegas in Houzz magazine; we decided on Ken Wolfson Design. From Sept 11 2018 until just before Christmas we were stuck in the Ken Wolfson tornado of bull crap. He's the man of a thousand designs. Never lands the plane! Constantly rescheduling appointments at the last minute. Inconveniencing us constantly. His designs were ridiculous. At one point he wanted to put a urinal in the master bathroom. At another point he wanted to shrink the master bedroom to 11 x 9, saying Las Vegas put too much Importance on large master bedrooms. He quoted us a crazy low amount for everything, construction, furniture ... he was working with"Fresh Design" at the time but they got into a tiff and stopped working together. Ken then told us he has a new contractor "ABC Contracting" we looked them up at the Better Business Bureau and at the NV State Contractors Board, but they weren't listed. Turns out they are a California licensed co. We found that out on our own because he refused to return our calls when we asked about ABC's license. He continuously danced around licensing questions and at one point asked us to get the permits in our name. That is very unethical. In mid December he showed up at our home in a panic and sweating. He thought we had called the NV State contractors board on him for impersonating a licensed contractor. He said he was certain he was going to be arrested as soon as he walked in our house. We calmed him down and assured him we did nothing of the sort. Honestly he was acting paranoid, in a panic and sweating profusely. I'm really wondering what was really going on with him. After he left I told my husband that Ken Wolfson is no longer allowed in our home. So Ken Wolfson provided many floorplans and designs but nothing that was legitimate. Construction never began. His price quote was about three times under what it should've been. Basically he drew a bunch of pictures did a lot of fast talking made $5000 for the deposit. Sadly we feel like we got a cheap because he could've destroyed our house and then left. My advice stay way far away from Ken Wolfson design and his partner "Greg" is just as shady as he is. There are so many other details I haven't shared. I should have given this review a year ago but It's so frustrating and embarrassing to see how gullible we were.

I had a vision for our kitchen, and she helped us bring it to life and stay within our budget. Our project took about 12 weeks and Gigi and team were extremely communicative throughout the process, providing us constant updates. Issues always arise during remodel projects; it's unavoidable, and we had ours. But Gigi and team always offered us a variety of solutions and helped us find creative ways to make things work. Even after one of our choices turned our not-so aesthetically pleasing, Gigi made the decision to redo it, at no additional cost to us, which not all contractors will do! We have a modest home and were certainly not Gigi's biggest client, but she always made us feel like our project was a priority to her and her team. Having both the construction work + design work together in our bid was our ideal circumstance. We are looking forward to working with Gigi again on our upstairs projects!

This is a SCAM. We…read moreprimarily worked with coowner Osnat throughout this project. Since our agreement has no due date for completion and one has not been added in writing (per the contract), technically all the work that remains due could still be completed. However, after 4.5 years (even considering the time for lockdowns, distancing, etc) Osnat has had more than enough time to finish the work that she was paid to complete. She verbally promised to be done in one year, but failed to do so. Osnat has been reminded numerous times that she still has a lot of work due on this project (including being provided a spreadsheet of all the incomplete work), and refuses to finish the work for which she's already been paid. We purchased OH Studio's top design package for residential properties and paid for every square foot of our house. We expected to receive a complete, thorough, professional design for the house that we could implement as our time and finances permitted. It was quickly apparent that we would need to do this in parts. We received about 10 - 20% of the work owed to us. The rest is still mostly builder's standard. It's hard to tell if Osnat really can do design work. The only things that she was the closest to completing were the master and guest bathrooms, but these were the result of bringing in a contractor that had already done a similar bathroom and just copy/pasting that to ours. Osnat is also very terrible at design that is functional for the occupants. She didn't give a second thought to delivering a guest bathroom design where a person taking a shower was unable to reach a towel without completely getting out of the shower. She slightly modified this at my insistence. Osnat makes frequent and makes no effort to fix them. She miscounted the number of curtains that we needed for the main living space two times as well as printed photos for some frames she bought from Ikea at the wrong size. She claimed that it was the mistake of the photo printing service, but it was not. She specified the wrong size and this was most likely because she didn't bother to do the math. The difference is significant enough to be plainly visible on the short side. She's refused to say how to hang them. The bulk of the work that Osnat considers "complete" is the result of a "shopping day" where we went to Living Spaces, West Elm, and one or two other places (most of which, we found, offer better services much cheaper). She said that this was "included", but is clearly trying to use it as a replacement for the services that are due to us. This was never agreed to be a replacement and as noted above, the agreement required that to have been in writing and it is not. She also likes to consider things complete with the phrase "we discussed" in violation of the contract and not actually done. Further, she takes notes but never shares any of that information. Osnat never accommodated our dog in the design at all. She also tried to shut me down when I was specifying the needs of the laundry room because she said it's a female space. She was forced to relent when we informed her that I do most of the laundry for the household. Finally, despite knowing that we had a full garage of our stuff that we were waiting to put in the house, she wasted a bunch of the funds provided on useless tchotchkes from target and ikea just to burn through the money. She'll contend that she gave us the receipts, but again this is her making a mistake that she refuses to fix. This includes that generic lemon jar that you see in every ikea kitchen. Rooms barely touched: laundry room: just a small slab over washer/dryer. Osnat purchased 8 ikea shelves, but didn't say where to place them (likely because they don't work) Rooms not started: the office, the master closet, the kitchen! Other Red Flags: - They use wework shared space - no real address - Payment before work completed - Virtually all the photos on their website appear to be stolen (image search the photos they've posted here too) - No licenses EDIT: Gigi's libel omits important context - OH has never made a good faith effort to resolve their failings and incomplete work - OH only offered to do work that they owed in "exchange" for not doing other work which they also owed. They were denied because of this unacceptable precondition - "disrespectful" in that they can't handle criticism of their shoddy "work" - "harassment" in that I demanded completion of the work for which they'd already been paid. yes, i did follow up when the refused to respond - "uncomfortable" in that they knew they had utterly failed and were caught promising things they had no intention of delivering and don't want to deal with an unhappy customer - part of OH's contract is a happiness GUARANTEE. How happy does this customer seem? Was the guarantee honored? Nope. - OH kept all of the money, didn't deliver most of their work, and have made NO effort to repay what they didn't deliver

I intentionally waited three months after our project was completed to write this review. I wanted…read moreto live in the space--to open every drawer, use every fixture, and really test the quality of the work. Now that the dust has settled, I can say without hesitation that hiring Merge for our kitchen and guest bathroom remodel was the best decision we could have made. Our journey with them actually began back in late February of 2025 when we met the team at a home show. We were upfront with them that, for personal reasons, we wouldn't be able to start the physical construction until the fall. Instead of pushing for a quick sale, they offered realistic, professional guidance. They explained that a proper design-to-completion cycle is actually a 6-8 month process. I am so glad they set that expectation early. We started our formal design meetings in March, actual demolition began in mid-August, and the project was fully completed by late October. Because they mapped this out so clearly, we never felt rushed or behind schedule. From start to finish, it was clear that this women-owned business operates differently than your typical contractor. They were incredibly organized, setting clear expectations by sitting us down and laying out exactly how the process would look. Heather, our primary contact, was phenomenal. She truly collaborated with us rather than just dictating design. We provided a budget and a general sense of our style, and the team took it from there. One of the things we appreciated most was their design philosophy. Instead of overwhelming us with unlimited choices, they took the time to understand our taste and would present us with no more than three perfectly curated options. If we were stuck, they would fine-tune the selection until it was perfect. They listened intently to what mattered to us--spacing, functionality, storage, and ambiance--and translated that into a design that fits our lives perfectly. Once the construction phase began in August, the level of professionalism remained unmatched. The nine-week build was smooth because communication was the backbone of the process. We received a note every single morning detailing exactly who would be in our house and what specific tasks would be completed that day. Furthermore, on the rare occasion we did need to reach out to them, their response was immediate--usually within 30 minutes. They didn't just reply to the text; they actively addressed the concern immediately. The various contractors they brought in were professional, polite, and extremely respectful of our living space. Any minor issues that popped up--as they do in any construction project--were dealt with instantly. The team's attention to detail was validated during our final walkthrough. Before we could even point out small cosmetic touch-ups, the team had already identified them and corrected them on the spot. Now, three months later, the craftsmanship holds up beautifully. We are absolutely in love with the new space. If you are looking for a team that offers honest guidance on timelines, respects your budget, and manages a project with military-grade organization, look no further than Merge. We recommend them for any project, large or small. I have attached before and after pictures for review.

I interviewed at least 8 different companies and nobody could do what Merge offered. 1) they were happy to work with me regarding what I wanted. Other companies were busy upselling me and telling me "no" to things like keeping my giant bathtub. Other companies insisted I get rid of my favorite thing about MY bathroom. 2) they were exceptionally kind 3) they were willing to work with my budget to get the project completed. There were "companies" quoting me the same service for 10-20% higher... WITHOUT license and insurance. That's CRAZY. My initial consult began with Heather. She managed the project and was so professional. From providing me my quote to bringing me all my specs in person. Fantastic experience! During the project, her team was so thoughtful and punctual. Showed up every morning before I left to work and earned my trust to leave them to work in my home independently. I have 3 dogs that are a bit high maintenance. Her team was SO great in being conscious of my needs and the needs of my dogs. Heather's team, Alex and Edgar were so kind as to even get to know my dogs so that my dogs would be comfortable as they moved in and out of my House. Also while they worked, they wore booties and kept my bedroom clean while they were worked. Every day, my bathroom was sealed neatly and the picked up where they left off. The project was completed without a single issue. I couldn't be happier. TL;DR: BEST priced company, and the BEST service around. VERY easy to work with. VERY nice and professional people.

The mail working the register told me his manager calibrates the claw machines in a way that you have to keep spending on it until you can have a payout.
