Social media makes it hard to distinguish between a 'famous' surgeon and a truly skilled one. I found Dr. Roy on a random Facebook find. Despite that random start, I felt immediately comfortable with him during my first consultation. He understood my goals immediately and he explained the process and expectations clearly. Still, I worried if "comfortable" meant "the best," but after two other consultations, no one else compared. He didn't upsell me on a lip lift, full face lift or upper eye blepharoplasty, which I appreciated. So we agreed on a neck, lower face, and brow lift. For context: I'm 55 and felt my neck looked 70, even though my face passed for early 40s (I was told ;-)). I felt like I didn't need a lot of work on my face. Hence, I was scared of looking "overdone" or worse than before. Dr. Roy is incredibly skillful - I am stunned by the results. My husband even says I look younger than on our wedding day 17 years ago! The result is so natural. I just look like my old self. The team (including Christine & Alex) is genuinely kind--not just "customer service" nice. Beyond his skill, the care was personal. Dr. Roy gave us his personal cell number and responded instantly during those first few days after surgery when my husband reached out to him with concerns/questions. My advice? Follow every pre & post-op instruction. They aren't optional. The first few days are tough, and you definitely need help, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Dr. Roy is a top-tier surgeon who doesn't need a Beverly Hills office or flashy marketing to prove it. Don't be fooled by follower counts and constant postings by other doctors that just lead to price gouging. If you're looking for a plastic surgeon, look no further than Dr. Roy.

The staff is very accomodating, for example I take business calls while getting treated. Some may think this is rude and Ive actually been scoffed at in other Med spas for this. I see Hannah for my facials which are amazing and in the past year ive moved my botox treatments to Rebecca. Ive also seen Dr Swengl for derm related services where hes transformed my face (age related). The lobby and rooms are impeccable. Staff were very friendly and kind, they handle our requested service professionally and with ease. There's ample parking in the back of the building with a back entrance as well. There was a slight mishap as they wanted to charge $500 for our service but it was quickly corrected before we paid and they apologized for the miscommunication. Subsequent treatments focused largely on addressing these new issues, with little improvement. What disappointed me most was the lack of transparency about potential adverse outcomes. Dr. Wilson initially made me feel confident that my melasma could be successfully treated, but the tone of our conversations changed a full 180 degrees after the first treatment, when things didn't go as expected. These risks had never been adequately explained to me beforehand. I had also specifically asked whether I could pay for just one session rather than committing to all three upfront, but was told that wasn't an option. In hindsight, this made the experience even more frustrating, as I felt financially locked into treatments that ultimately made my skin worse. My husband and I both scheduled for our annual skin checks as first-time patients. Dr Eric Lee is very kind, patient, and thorough. I ultimately took time off work and drove over an hour to be seen. Upon arrival, we were greeted and roomed, and the medical assistant was courteous and professional. However, while we were waiting for the physician, a front desk clerk entered the room and informed us--only at that point--that our insurance was not accepted. We were told we would need to pay $200 out-of-pocket for the visit, in addition to any further services. I was frankly shocked. I have never encountered a medical practice that does not verify insurance coverage in advance, especially after multiple scheduling interactions. While the clerk did apologize, nothing further was done to assist us in any way, shape, or form. There was no attempt to offer alternatives, solutions, or even basic accommodation--just a blunt choice to either pay out of pocket or leave. This was an unacceptable experience and a complete waste of time, effort, and lost work hours. I left feeling dismissed and undervalued as a patient. The lack of accountability and inadequate administrative processes had a direct and significant impact on my experience. On top of that I was charged the office visit fee and after a week I have yet to receive a refund. I would not recommend this practice and will be cautioning others about their failure to properly manage something as fundamental as insurance verification.

He has over 50 years experience and enjoying working with custoners of all ages. He keeps me young, healthy and shows me how to take care of my skin, and my nails without fungus. He is still so popular that the new customers have to wait on the waiting list over 5 pages long to see him. Personnaly, I think it is worth it because he is honest, and has experience to treat your skin, nail fungus, and other skin care as removing tatoos, etc... He has a beautiful staff with two nurse practitioners, and other nurses to prepare the skins prior to see him. I have been seeing Dr Saal twice a year to make sure my skin is healthy and to refill my prescriptions. I am 73 and retired. My friends told me I look around 60. This is credited to Dr Saal and his staff. I highly recommend Dr Saal as one of the best dermatologists in the bay area.

The front office staff, scheduling (last minute cancellations or rescheduling), and billing department (over charged a handful of times), display a lack of professionalism and consistent disrespect attitudes towards patients, which is truly disheartening to witness and experience. A new nurse of Asian descent was hired several years ago and unbelievably her behavior was inappropriate during the 3 occasions we interacted with her. I will never have her touch my face with any devices ever again. She also touched me inappropriately and I voiced my concerns and no one ever resolved the concerns. However, after seeing a new nurse (very good) who assists Dr. Saal, the experience has been positive. Despite being a loyal patient for 37 years, with Dr Saal, I have observed a significant decline in the office environment over the last 15 years. I have even recommended 22 individuals to this practice over the past 37 years, but never again. Stacey is the only long term employee (manager) still at the office and she has been consistently wonderful and professional. However, definitely not the rest of the office staff as mentioned above. I guess things and people do change eventually. My referrals and myself have gone to other Dermatologist offices to experience better services.
