We rearranged our work schedules twice to accommodate, only to be met with radio silence at the second lesson: my husband and son waited over 30 minutes, and no one from Christos contacted us. There was no text, no call--nothing. Even after I corrected my son's email address twice, it was still wrong in their system, leading to more confusion. When I raised these concerns professionally, I received a defensive and antagonistic response from their business manager, along with a partial refund ($245 from a $300 payment) and a refusal to take responsibility. Instead of resolving the issue, they dismissed us and suggested we find another school. What should be a milestone filled with learning and support became stressful and chaotic. Driving with one of Christos instructors is a nightmare, as they brought a mean and condescending attitude to every lesson. Several other students I've spoken to shared this experience, and one even switched schools because of it. The communication between the school and students/parents needs significant improvement. I signed my daughter up 8 months ago, and although she completed her class training promptly, we were informed she couldn't start her observations or driving sessions until a parent completed an online class. Unfortunately, the school couldn't provide this class for 2 months. After finally completing it, we faced another 7-month wait for her driving classes. This delay has disrupted my daughter's plans to get her license when she becomes eligible. Until the school learns to manage demand better, I strongly advise parents to communicate frequently and plan well in advance to avoid similar frustrations. read more

If I could, I'd give them zero stars. This is the worst driving school ever! The customer service is atrocious. It took over a year just to schedule on-road appointments! My daughter had to wait months and months to finally get her on-road driving time. The scheduling department is a complete disaster. They are also very expensive. After seeing so many bad reviews I had to jump in. We had a fantastic experience at Christo's. I was so overwhelmed with the process after reading the requirements on the RMV site I was dreading it. One call to Chrito's and I felt so much better. They patiently guided me through the process, even when I had to call back with my own silly questions. My son really liked the instructors and picked up a lot of great habits and tips. Yes, the price is higher than I thought it would be, but was the same at other area schools I called. Being able to take the Driver's test at Christo's was soooo convenient and definitely made my son less nervous. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Just be very careful, I wasted $355 for 5 driving lessons @ Christo Driving School. Schedules get messed up, get confusing a lot, too much directions. Despite of showing the easy ways to park & 2 or 3 point turn, they still want perfection. They want us to practice more so they could get a lot of money. Instructor Michael, one of the Christo grandsons, has endless patience and a terrific sense of humor. All instructors are top notch. Want to deal with a capable, professional staff? I am very disappointed with the driving school. My kid went in to take his driving test and before he was even able to get out of the parking lot, the instructor had him quickly shift the lane leaving which caused him to the curb. The instructor did an exaggerated leap out of his seat and threw his clipboard in the air and immediately failed him. This isn't the first time I've heard about the instructor failing drivers in order to get more money out of them. If this company cares about its reputation at all, then they should allow him to retake his test without another payment and a better instructor. I remember getting my license and having my parent in the backseat while I took the test, perhaps this would be useful as well. This way we prove how awful the instructors are. read more

Saw a Christo driving instructor involved in a road rage incident! The Christo car pulled in front of another car on what should be an illegal left turn from Route 20, and then just abruptly stop. When the other car blew the horn, the instructor put the window down and started yelling at the other driver! Time and place: November 2nd, 2017, at 5:15pm on Mechanic Street in Marlborough. Their instructors are now including road rage in the curriculum??? Seriously??? read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. This is the worst service and business out there. This is a scam, and your child will not learn how to drive. Those hours on the road? USELESS. The Hamilton out of your pocket? STOLEN. The instructors do not know what they are doing, most of the lesson is spent picking up and dropping off other kids. It's basically an uber service. The examiners from Worcester are out to fail perfectly competent drivers, and they are rude. This family business does not respond to emails and they constantly move lessons around. Our experience with Christos has been terrible and if there was a negative-star this place would deserve it.
