It's becoming a favorite go to Restaurant for us locals. Worth a Visit.

Had the biscuits and gravy with hash browns and eggs. Gravy was nice and thick, sausage chunks in it. The biscuits had a nice crisp top and fluffy on the inside. Perfect in my books. Hash browns were crispy and eggs were fluffy. Service was on point. Our drinks never were empty. Waitress was polite and attentive. Place was cool and had a lot of history in it. Can't wait for my next trip up here to give this place another try. Hopefully have some lunch here.

Amber Hills is the local market that also offers food. The day I was there, they had a 12 wings for 12 dollars. I ordered the bbq, with a soda. Sat outside and enjoyed my meal. The wings were very meaty, and good. The store itself has lots of products to choose from. The service was very friendly and on point. Very happy to have visited here.

Meat, Shrimp, some fresh vegetables and lots more. Food Prices are very reasonable and pretty much the best in Salome. We live in Brenda not far from here and will be shopping more here in the near future.

The owner was sweet as could be gave Loretta and I big hugs as we were leaving. The young lady that served us took great care of us. Loretta ordered The #15. 3 Shredded Beef Flautas with Beans and Rice. Very well Seasoned and Tasty. I Ordered The #11. Shredded Beef Chimichanga with rice topped with Enchilada Sauce. Wow stuffed with lots of excellent seasoned beef. It's a meal to share. I also just had to try The Chili Relleno for Loretta and I to share. It turned out to be both of ours favorite of the night. The owner to us the sauce on the relleno she makes special and can only be had on this dish. It was so tasty I wanted to lick the plate. All and All everything was very enjoyable and we will be back for more of the menu. If you haven't been it's worth the visit.

This Visit 9/02/2026…read moreSaw a Ad for A Wednesday Special, Birria Tacos Wasn't expecting it to be as wonderful as it was. The Onion Rings were Amazing and the Fries were Tasty too. The Special Birria was very good for a third attempt and just lacking a traditional side of diced onions and cilantro to top the tacos as Traditional Birria is presented. Still Very Good, Tender and Juicy. Comes with A nice side of Birria Consume for Dipping. The side orders of Beans and Rice were tasty but the rice was overpriced at $6.50 for such a Small Serving. The Beans were Priced at $3.65 and were a tad on thin side but had excellent flavor. Wish they sold a complete Plate like most restaurants do instead of charging what should be included with Tacos for $5.25 Each. ‍ All in All they were Worth the price for the tacos . I'll be back for them the next time they have them.

After waiting a while my kids were next in line to order. A young lady who was working there had a very bad attitude towards my kids for no apparent reason. I also saw her giving mean attitude to others before they were next. I went to my kids while they were ordering. They said, "Can you give us Italian herb and cheese?" She didn't have a care for the world and gave them normal bread while there was the herb and cheese was right there. We kindly asked her again for the bread and she stared at us like it was our fault that she was there in the first place. So she grabs the bread all mad and looking at us for some little mistake she did. After that she asked us what sandwich we wanted. We said the American club. She started making some random sandwich instead of the sandwich we asked for. As before we kindly asked her to change the wrong sandwich for the right one. As again she got really mad at us and gave us a death stare for a mistake she did again. After that she was talking to us in a mean attitude and wasn't really complying with us. I get sometimes people have bad days but this was something else... She was being mean to little kids. Never again going here with my kids especially. 1/10
