I needed a primary doctor since my doctor of 40 years retired and shut my account off, leaving me…read morehigh and dry with medication's and other things and no way to communicate with him. One of the prescriptions was very addictive and I was going through serious withdrawals, not being able to get a hold of my doctor so I came to the ER here yesterday and they fixed me up in two hours with what I needed to get my body functioning and although it wasn't cheap, it isn't at any hospital, it was efficient and They solved my problems. When I was checking out, they recommended a primary doctor. They're in the building who I went and met today. Met my new primary he's on the second floor of the hospital, the staff was super nice, he was very knowledgeable. Had all the details of my past history and got me all my prescriptions and I plan to move forward . He's already scheduled our next appointment and now I have a new doctor. this was pain-free. What a great staff and now that I've been to the ER and within the hospital, I was very pleased again with the staff and the quality of help I got. Thank you guys for taking me in as a new patient so quick and solving my problems . Highly recommend.

I had the unfortunate opportunity of needing emergency services here. After reading reviews and…read morespeaking with family I don't know why I still came here. Mostly because it's about 10 minutes from my house. I suffered a fall on concrete a few days before and decided to come here for some scans just to make sure there was no internal injuries. I wasn't feeling well and it was not getting better. Migraines, tension headaches, nausea, fatigue. It was a Sunday and surprisingly the very small waiting area was not too busy. There were maybe two or three others waiting. We were greeted when walking in and asked what we needed. The lady up front directed us to the gentleman seated next to her. With him we gave all our personal information. Right in the waiting room.. Pretty much anyone listening knew why I was there, my name, birthday, where I lived.. I didn't like that. There was someone physically sitting right behind me. After that I went back to the first lady who's name tag, says they were an RN, to get my vitals done and answer more questions. Again, this is done right at the front desk, right in front of the entrance of the er, right where everyone can see and hear everything. While I was getting my blood pressure taken at the front desk a nurse practioner congress by to ask how im feeling and my concerns. She was really nice and seemed genuine. After feeling on my head a little she recommended a cat scan and wrote me for some meds for my current pain and nausea. After that, I turned back to the room to wait. The wait wasn't too long. We were expecting something crazy since we've heard horror stories. A few minutes in a healthcare worker came to give me a few pills. She just told me it was for the pain and nausea and gave me water. I swallowed everything in one gulp. I wish she would've told me how I was supposed to take the medication because after my visit I received a prescription for the same medication and it says I'm NOT supposed to take the nausea medication with water. I am supposed to let it dissolve on my tongue and taking it with water will actually cause it to get WORSE. Which it did while I was there! I was actually sitting there in the waiting room wondering when the medicine going to kick in because it was getting worse. Thinking maybe it was because that was the longest I've been up since my accident.. SMH After I got called to get scanned I was sent back to the waiting room to wait for results. After the results the NP came to talk to me, again in the waiting room, surrounded by all the other patrons. Definitely a concussion but no internal bleeding or fractures. Thank goodness. Overall we spent max two hours in total here. And sitting in the waiting room the whole time expect for 5 minutes when I went to get scanned. I used to work in a medical office so I know this is borderline HIPPA violations everywhere. Not sure how they are getting away with it but with enough money anyone would turn a blind eye. Def not looking forward to the bill for the scan and being seen in the waiting room.. Next time I'll listen to mom and drive out a little further for a bill worth paying.

When we call the phone rings and rings and if you get a hold of anyone they just say they will take a note and they never get back to you. Just the other day I call for a referral and they took down my information and it's been 3 days with no return phone call. They take days to a week to respond to requests like refilling prescriptions, keeping appointments, and can never keep proper records like points of contact and power of attorney. We have had many instances where they don't have appointments in their system correctly or even the correct prescription on file. This is very serious considering they are dealing with people's health and lives. This location only has 1 doctor and 1 nurse practitioner. They really need to overhaul their office staff.

She did not review his chart before entering the exam room and asked unnecessary questions. I have worked in health care for over 30 years and I have NEVER spoken to any of my patients in this manner. She should be terminated from this position. I would never go to this facility for any type of treatment!

I had a…read morefamily member there at roughly the same time her review was written (Fall 2013) and I can say our experience was 100% the opposite. The nurses and staff were caring, accommodating, friendly, and sensitive to the obviously delicate situation. The center itself is warm and friendly, with little nooks and sitting areas, a kitchen, a vast library with books, DVDs, & games, a beautiful chapel, and each guest suite has its own patio - large enough for the patient's bed to be rolled out in nice weather! They don't have specific visiting hours, and all ages (and species if the patient would like to see a pet) are encouraged to visit, as long as all are sensitive to the noise level. I can't imagine a better place for my loved one's final days. This experience ultimately inspired me to become a volunteer there. If you are at the point where you must consider hospice for someone you love, I highly recommend this facility and its amazing staff.
