He demonstrates very good knowledge and care, explains very clearly and shows all the options I have to improve my health and performance. Satisfied with the diagnosis and treatment proposed by the doctor. Also a good impression of the knowledge and care of the technical staff.

I can't say how extremely disappointed I am, I was looking for exceptional care for my boyfriend…read moreand came across Dr.Sharma and from other reviews she seemed to be exactly what we need. A doctor who is passionate, cares about her patients and on time. So we made an appointment and as a new patient there was a 2 month waiting list, which was fine no rush and this office is supposed to be exceptional so why not wait! As we arrived we were greeted by a not so friendly receptionist who was quite rude, we were asked multiple times who referred us and were proud to tell them we found this office online and chose it due to the overwhelming flow of great reviews. Well as Dr.Sharma came in to introduce herself she went on to ask the golden question of the office, who referred you? We told her we found the office online and she then explains well I work primarily with the elderly as an advocate for their health and I will do my best to work with you but you are young and healthy. I don't understand, why you would say that to a patient and why do you not understand we waited TWO MONTHS to see you and your telling us you might not be able to see him as a patient but you will try? Are you serious? Maybe you should have addressed this with the office to not schedule you a new patient that is younger than you prefer to see.. On top of this his appointment was very short and accomplished almost nothing then we were told he needed to come back for a physical in another 2 months!! No thank you, how is this place even running? What happens if someone is sick, do they need to wait two months too?? I would definitely not recommend this doctors office!

The office staff seems committed to offering the best customer experience. I can tell they succeed at that. No issue with them. My concern relates to time spent as a new patient. I spent 25' max. with Dr. Alana Villada. I spent 25' in a direct personal exchange between me, the patient, and the said Dr. I received a bill of $308.10. I checked with my insurance. I was billed under code 99204 (New patient office visit, 45-59 minutes). I reached out to the billing team and they sent me back to the office manager. The office manager stated that any work conducted by the Physician via the portal (like uploading and posting a comment about a lab result) can be minutes aggregated to the initial visit face-to-face. I am in disagreement since I interacted with the doctor only 25'. Any work done after the face-to-face visit culminated (asynchronously, not demanding a patient's response or physical examination, online, etc.) cannot be considered an in-person visit with a licensed professional or be billed under the same care or service provided. Please, see my invoice.

I wasn't even given an answer or a heads up that a question about my physical health during a physical exam would be billed separately I wasn't even looked in the eye when she said she would order additional labs to make sure it wasn't an autoimmune disorder. 30 seconds for a question I wasn't aware didn't fall within the category of my annual exam and $140 later I'm still wondering how health professionals have gone this far downhill. They don't care about our well being, they only care about how many charges they can unknowingly bill us for until we've had enough.
