I went here after I had not been feeling well for a couple of weeks. They were great with…read morescheduling an appointment, I didn't need to wait days and go in at an odd hour. Also I didn't wait long to see a doctor. After running a few tests, they said they'd let me know the results via mail. Yes. That's right. Mail. No phone call saying what's wrong. Just snail mail. I brushed that off, thinking alright. It's your method. Just let me know. The letter came back saying that I looked perfectly healthy. Um...clearly I'm not if i went to see you. It's not like I went for a regular check up. If I had, then I could understand the letter as well as the message attached. However they didn't request any follow up to run different types of tests, to talk to me about my results, or anything. If you're looking for a regular check up, this would be a fine place to go. But if you're sick, I'd probably look elsewhere.

We told her we found the office online and she then explains well I work primarily with the elderly as an advocate for their health and I will do my best to work with you but you are young and healthy. I don't understand, why you would say that to a patient and why do you not understand we waited TWO MONTHS to see you and your telling us you might not be able to see him as a patient but you will try? Are you serious? Maybe you should have addressed this with the office to not schedule you a new patient that is younger than you prefer to see.. On top of this his appointment was very short and accomplished almost nothing then we were told he needed to come back for a physical in another 2 months!! I was told I did NOT need an appointment--and I tried to schedule one anyway and was refused--for the doctor to read the skin test, to just come back on Friday, that it would take about ten minutes max. After two trips up there (the first time I was told they were really busy and I should come back precisely at two pm and I would then be THE FIRST PERSON seen after he got back from lunch), an hour and fifteen minutes of waiting, an angry boss (because it was supposed to have taken FIFTEEN minutes MAX), and a lost hour of work equalling more than fifty dollars, I will not be going back. The office staff seems committed to offering the best customer experience. I can tell they succeed at that. No issue with them. My concern relates to time spent as a new patient. I spent 25' max. with Dr. Alana Villada. I spent 25' in a direct personal exchange between me, the patient, and the said Dr. I received a bill of $308.10. I checked with my insurance. I was billed under code 99204 (New patient office visit, 45-59 minutes). I reached out to the billing team and they sent me back to the office manager. The office manager stated that any work conducted by the Physician via the portal (like uploading and posting a comment about a lab result) can be minutes aggregated to the initial visit face-to-face. I am in disagreement since I interacted with the doctor only 25'. Any work done after the face-to-face visit culminated (asynchronously, not demanding a patient's response or physical examination, online, etc.) cannot be considered an in-person visit with a licensed professional or be billed under the same care or service provided.
