I have never had better GF English muffins in my life, they truly taste like the real thing. The original loaf is also delicious. Already placing another order. They were making fresh pound cake when we got there and so we got a lemon raspberry pound cake. Warm, it's sort of like a donut texture and soft. It was very good. The owner was super nice and helpful. The bakery is not a sit down type. Just a to go place. I can't wait to come back.

Upon walking in, it appears to be just a small Mexican grocery store/bakery, But as soon as you look to your right you realize this is more than a bakery, it's a carbohydrate party! They are seriously an unbelievable amount of baked goods here, ranging from Mexican sweet bread, cakes, two donuts and even stuff that looked like cannolis. I picked up four of them for some friends, and figured it would be something like $10, which would've been fair. The total came to $3.85! Everything was delicious, laden with delicious carbs and left me wanting for nothing. In addition to the carb fest, they had plenty of other minimart type foods available. The lady who worked here was very nice and with little Caesars next-door, it was easy to go grab a pizza and have both the main course and dessert all in a couple minutes. Well worth checking out!

I always start with I'm super picky so here we go:…read more I purchased the garden veggie egg bagel sandwich. Skepticism at first because I'm not really big on avocado spread or warm tomatoes (texture) but oddly it worked really well! I think it's because the tomatoes are sliced really thin so it's more flavor than texture. It was actually really good and I will order it again. The cheddar bagel was really chewy and flavorful with the eggs. Next up... the chocolate cake doughnut. It was perfection. Literally. Light and airy inside and a little bit of this crusty sugary coating on the outside. Gave it the perfect texture. I love that. It wasn't too sweet which is HUGE early in the morning. I devoured the whole thing and will get again. I have 3 other items including this delicious looking little apple pie doughnut but I'm full and need a nap. Definitely recommend and will be purchasing regularly. We moved here from Dallas, TX and this is the first good donut I've had in Yakima. The huge thing is it wasn't too sweet and it was VERY fresh. You could tell a lot of thought and attention went into these products. Love it!

Ahtanum Bakery is adjacent to their berry patch in Yakima. Because of the climate, they harvest strawberries, blueberries, huckleberries and Marion berries right through the fall. They have a a u-pick field or you can buy the berries already picked. Every year they participate in the Hood River Valley Harvest festival in October. People remember them and line up for the massive cinnamon rolls, hand pies, scones, pies, decorated sugar cookies and other delectables. Oh, and fresh berries! Prices are a bit high, but the quality is definitely there. These are not mass produced, but made in small batches with fresh ingredients and love.

It was super sunny and hot, but we had a great time. The raspberries weren't super sweet in my opinion, but they were fresh and lasted days after. They also have a little store that sells berries products like different berry jams, pies, ice cream, fresh berries, honey, and lemonades. Everyone was very friendly and super welcoming. It's a nice spot for a weekend activity with the family. They also have a stand at the local farmers market on the weekend. I tried their huckleberry cinnamon roll and the raspberry hand pie (forgot pictures), and those were both too sweet for me. However, the traditional cherry pie that I got was perfect. It was super yummy! I definitely would go back to do some more U-pick, especially for the gold raspberries, and for the traditional pies that they offer.

Turns out they don't accommodate for nut allergies, we asked about the spilled nuts into other containers. She didn't offer to get new toppings but said she would forward in our feedback. We called the next day to speak with the owner and she was unavailable. The Owner took 2 weeks to call back and was snarky, she decided to tell my sister in law that "maybe she should find a new place to eat if allergies were an issue!" My sister told her how unprofessional that was and how serious a nut allergy can be. The owner said she would look into what they can do for allergies, NOTHING has been done. Supposedly retraining was going to take place. It's still the same. Was back this weekend. It's pretty sad that she made my niece feel like she was a martian for having an allergy. Businesses everywhere have been more than happy to accommodate, we will take our money elsewhere! If you have a nut allergy just know cross contamination happens daily here.
