For starters, it's a small place. You pay a 5 to10 dollar cover at the door, and then you'll notice the bar area, which has a very homey "corner bar" feel to it, and then the main stage, which is small yet surprisingly spacious. It's pretty easy to get a good view of the stage most anywhere you sit. The girls work the floor aggressively, and will sit down with you and size you up, as they do most places. However here, they settle in so fast it almost feels like a pressure sales tactic at a used car lot. That's a turnoff, but you act distant enough they'll get up and move to the next table. The women themselves are fairly decent looking, most all of them are average at best, a couple maybe above. Private dances are 10 bucks, and well, let's just say depending on the girl, you get more than your money's worth. The drinks cost 4-6 dollars, and they serve beer and liquor both. Most nights I go, I'll spend between 30-50 bucks and leave having had a good strip club experience on the cheap. Is it Christie's or the Hustler? Heck no, but the Brass Pole is fun on a budget, and much better instead of going to Bugsy's in downtown Elyria.

I visited this theatre in mid-December 2024 to watch a play titled "Altar Boyz". I met a few…read morefriends there. I didn't realize that the theatre itself is inside the massive 78th street studios, which houses galleries, the 3rd Fridays art/gallery event, boutique shops from local businesses, and more. The theatre is on the 2nd floor of the 78th street studios. As I entered, I was lost and the random people that I asked couldn't help which was frustrating at best. I then ran into someone who was looking for the theatre like myself so we helped each other find it. Eventually, we saw signs leading us to the theatre and arrived with a minute or so to spare before the show started. The theatre itself is small and intimate. There is a stage up in the front-center plus a sound booth behind the stage. I enjoyed the play Altar Boyz but some parts were a bit offensive to the Christian religion but I suppose that was the point of the play. The actors, which were all male, did a great job. I can certainly see myself coming back here to watch another play. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 3/365 total reviews in 2025 - 784 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 January 2025

I signed up for their email list and was alerted to this quirky play called The Bigfoot Letters. Here are the details "when an Ohio woman accidentally hits Bigfoot with her pick-up truck and decides to raise its orphaned baby, her life is forever changed". A friend and I went on a Saturday night and it was cool to see that a wedding reception was happening in another part of the building. To get to the theatre we had to walk past some of the cool/unique art on the walls. Inside the threatre it's pretty toasty so I would not recommend wearing anything warm or you will definitely be sweating. They have some popcorn and drinks for purchase if you are so inclined. Seating is first come first serve, but we had no problem finding a good spot about 15-20 minutes before the show started. Tickets are also reasonably priced at $12, but it looks like other shows are $18. The show itself was not Playhouse Square quality, but's it's good entertaining community theatre and something different to do on a weekend. There were some good scenes and I think the actors were cast appropriately. One of the best things were the reactions from the audience. There were a couple of people who kept having loud bursts of laughter and that was funnier that what happened in the show. Next up is this musical parody of Silence of the Lambs that involves singing sheep! Ha, I think it sounds like a good time! I would recommend a visit to Blank Canvas Theatre. ***Update Silence! the musical was really good! Just like the movie but hilarious and crude, had everyone in laughs!
