I used to work in this building, and indeed it's beautiful. The foyer of the Christie Centre invites you into a large room with a cute coffee stand on the left, plants on the right and beautiful pieces of antique pottery and vases in glasses in the walls. It all reeks of some rich 19th Century Baron's smoking room or library, except that a) the coffee stand is modern, funky and metallic; and b) if you sat back on the lounge and smoked a cigar in here the face of a security guard will be the last thing you see before you hit the pavement outside.
The offices themselves carry on the same theme, with antiques decorating the rooms like you're in an elitist museum. There are a lot of vases, which look to be in the Ming-Vase style to me. However, though I studied Ancient History for the life of me I couldn't tell you what era they're from, just that they must be expensive.
