Throughout the entire process, Doug was nothing short of wonderful-- he was always prompt and professional in his responses, and demonstrated incredible flexibility as our wedding date and vision were drastically changed. We hardly noticed that Doug was there on the day of our event, because he worked so efficiently and unobtrusively. It wasn't until 2 weeks after the wedding (Also! Can you say "fast turnaround time?"), that we were truly able to appreciate all of his hard work. We're still not sure how he captured all of the angles, scenes, and key moments of our special day, but he did so with great skill and the final result was breathtaking. I'm not a natural model so I didn't know how to pose. I was new and my body was not used to being in front of the camera naturally. But every step of the way, Josh was there being patient and guiding me. For the engagement pictures, due to Josh's expertise and experience, he knew where to go for the best pictures. But if you already have a list of places you want to go, he is open and willing to go to them. To give you an idea of the places he has in his pocket, he took me to Santa Monica Beach and the Venice Beach Canals (who doesn't get their pictures here, right?). But the kicker was this beautiful nature park that literally looked like a rain forest! As for the big wedding day, Josh was the first person there capturing moments from beginning to end. He also had a partner with him to ensure everything was caught. He knew what to do and what type of pictures to take. There were several moments when he told me to do something and thought to myself, "Oh yeah! That's right. I see those wedding pictures all the time!" I just felt bad for him and his partner because they couldn't sit down and eat. They must have been hungry from running around all day!
