I'm not a natural model so I didn't know how to pose. I was new and my body was not used to being in front of the camera naturally. But every step of the way, Josh was there being patient and guiding me. For the engagement pictures, due to Josh's expertise and experience, he knew where to go for the best pictures. But if you already have a list of places you want to go, he is open and willing to go to them. To give you an idea of the places he has in his pocket, he took me to Santa Monica Beach and the Venice Beach Canals (who doesn't get their pictures here, right?). But the kicker was this beautiful nature park that literally looked like a rain forest! As for the big wedding day, Josh was the first person there capturing moments from beginning to end. He also had a partner with him to ensure everything was caught. He knew what to do and what type of pictures to take. There were several moments when he told me to do something and thought to myself, "Oh yeah! That's right. I see those wedding pictures all the time!" I just felt bad for him and his partner because they couldn't sit down and eat. They must have been hungry from running around all day! Now as I reflect back and write this, it's been an unforgettable year full of joy and blessings. I appreciate the big moments in my life, but I realize the little moments are just as valuable, something we neglect when we are younger. I have already begun a new chapter in my life, and I can't find a better way to end my last review of 2013, but to write this for him.

I couldn't make that slot since I was flying in later that day, so I suggested 10am the following morning instead and completed their intake form. They replied "let me check the schedule," and that was the last I heard. I followed up a few days later asking for their availability; the message shows as read, but I never got a response. With my trip coming up, I had to scramble to find another photographer, which thankfully worked out even better. I can't speak to the quality of their photos, since I never got to the session. But if you're working on a timeline, be aware that communication can drop off without warning.
