Right now, many parents do not feel confident that those expectations are being met. This is not about isolated incidents--it reflects a broader pattern that needs immediate attention. It's important to note that we enrolled her in 2021. She was very shy and isolated during 2020, so a part of why we enrolled her was to get more socialization. She's a complete social butterfly and gets along well with anyone now. Like every parent, I needed to feel reassured that my kid was going to be in good hands when I send her off to preschool. It's a big milestone and quite daunting going through the process of which place to choose. We looked at 3 other places, 1 other one in town before immediately deciding to enroll our daughter. Here are my pluses: * compassionate, trustworthy, transparent, and attentive teachers/staff * BrightWheel app to give you daily updates on your kid-- including photos! * fun activities -- cute artwork * safe and enclosed with doors that are locked * across the street from the park Compassionate, trustworthy, transparent, and attentive: the teachers always greet us at pick up and tell us if our kiddo had an accident (of any kind). If she fell, we sign a paper acknowledging what happened. They've worked with us for a whole year potty training our kiddo. It was a very long process that required a lot of patience, but we finally got there just before she turned 5. They have been nothing but patient and supportive every step of the way, never pushing it. Class sizes vary due to kids on different schedules, so one day they'll have 3-7 kids and another day there will be a dozen. Every kid seems happy and engaged when I'm there. They have nap time at noon for two hours, which is very important if you're looking to enroll young toddlers. They're flexible with drop off time up until 9am and pick up before 6pm. On sunny days, they'll take the kids across the street to play at the park. You communicate using their BrightWheel app, which you get updates including photos of your kid throughout the day. I wish they had this tech when I was growing up! My daughter is sad to leave this place, but we know that if we have another kiddo in the future, we'll be back here again.

Awesome Kindergarten experience | Great school…read more The start of this past school year was disorganized and left us feeling skeptical and worried about how our daughter would experience her first academic year here. We met the old principal during open house to find out he was moving overseas before the start of school and we didn't have a kindergarten teacher assigned until the day before school started. Despite the rough start for parents and staff navigating together the new changes, our daughter absolutely loved her teacher, Mrs Parry, and her first year at this school. We couldn't have asked for a better kindergarten teacher. Every day our kid came home with work they've learned and created in class. I'm not just talking about coloring and learning ABCs, like I did growing up. -She learned life cycles of butterflies, ducks, chicks, frogs... -Counting up to 100 and by the end of the year multiplying by 2's -Basic reading and reading comprehension -Basic Spanish Mrs Parry was an extremely hard working and dedicated kindergarten teacher who knew how to teach every kid in her class at various levels with patience and kindness. She was always organized, communicated well, and produced lots of helpful materials tailored to each kids skill level. They did a lot of art, hands on activities like growing things in the school garden, and also used a math app on the computer for kids to learn at their own skill level and pace. At this grade, they did math and English assessments twice in the year! My kid made so much progress since the beginning of the year all thanks to Mrs Parry. My kid came into kindergarten already knowing how to read at about a 1st grade level, but by the end of the school year, she is into 2nd grade level comics and easy chapter books. I volunteered a few times throughout the year for field trips and attended school events towards the end of the year. I enjoyed the activities planned for the kids and became acquainted with the structure and routine of the class. My daughter loved recess, taking books home weekly from the school library, music class, and PE. The school facility is pretty nice considering it's a fairly new/young construction. The one thing that hyped up my kid going into her first year here is the large slide in their library! I grew up learning in those basic portable classrooms that could easily be taken down. So boring and unimaginative! The school communicates through 2 different apps, one for the entire school district and one for the school and your teacher. With so many updates/posts/announcements, it is hard to keep up and feels unorganized to me and other parents. One app would work for us. Another thing to note that is also new to me is their term 'blended classes'. They have classes like kindergarten, kindergarten and first grade blend, first grade..etc. In my honest opinion, I'm not a fan of this because I think it is a way for the school to deal with budget cuts. My kid's class size wasn't too large, but I'm curious what the future holds since each year seems to attract more enrollment. With more homes being built, I'm thankful another school is being built in the town. Overall, I'm happy if my kid is happy with her teacher and school. I see her progress and like the school's facilities and fun events. I'm not a fan of their app system and budget cuts. We will greatly miss Mrs Parry due to the budget cuts, but we look forward to what this next school year holds for our kid.

There are two areas filled with play structures, and a good sized field. They opened up the bathroom in the school for the event. Most wonderful of all is the large *covered* concrete area. If you are an Oregon mom, any physical activity area that stays dry is a gem to you. Both my toddler on his balance bike, and the big kids on their decorated parade bikes were having a blast in this area. We were very early for parade staging, and this facility made the hour and 15 minutes we waited an absolute delight. Teaching your kiddo to ride a bike? Head on down! This is a great place to do it! Psst, don't forget the helmet. Even balance bikes get moving pretty fast as the concrete under the roof is smooth.

If that is the case, then a lowered tuition fee would have been reasonable if they can't meet their promising services to families. Attempted too many times contacting the OWNER & DIRECTOR of these concerns and they have both been UNRESPONSIVE - it would take days, if not weeks & follow ups to get their attention. All to say, proceed with caution - the OWNER, Deanna & DIRECTOR, Brittney are very passive AND experts at ghosting when it comes to conflicts and/or resolving issues - at least in our experience. Tip for parents CONSIDERING this daycare: their policy is really vague and their parent handbook policy is covered with "we can change our policy at any given time" so be aware that they can quickly change whatever they need to do in their favor to which can leave parents like us really unhappy with the steep tuition they require.. if I can leave 0 stars, I would.
