Great Bagels and Great Service. 4 Years ago we moved to Downingtown. We use to go to a small church, where the jim's songs were accompanied by an organ. The elders were singing of key but the Pastor and the food was Great. I did not grow up religious. However, I wanted some sort of traditional order in my kids life and belonging to a community where we listen and try to help each-other. When, I first was invited to Calvary's Women Bible studies, I felt award because I had no knowledge of the Bible. Sitting there and listening to woman's about The different Chapters and I was trying hard to picture the stories was first little difficult. However, the woman were so nice a was attracted to their kindness. When, I was started bringing my teenagers to the youth group and all the fun programs on Sundays even my kids were happy to see their friends from school. My husband would first only join us on Easter and on Christmas. However, I'm happy to say that going to Church became our Sunday Morning routine. The Church is great, people are nice and the service is so down to Earth. The Pastors are really good. I highly recommend the Church to Believers and not believers. We all need a great community and order and the wisdom of the Elders. Come and find some peace in this Crazy world. You will not regret. If you feel squared first, than come back next week and than next week again. Make it a routine. It will change your life. read more

Please Don 't donate money to this church. My family use to attend there. I knew a friend who lost her job and she needed help with her electric bill. They preach about how tithing is a duty to all members to do. I gave this church thousands of dollars every year I attended. This winter I got a phone call from my friend and refered her to this church. She explained to them her situation ,that she was in jeopordy of having her electric shut off. They turned her away and said they could provide a food coupon to a local food bank. All the money they get in donations, to help people in crisis , where does it go? Here is evidence that the money they get does not go to help the needy in thier community. Time to expose these crooks. Enough is enough of these con artists making millions of dollars off people they sucker with thier claims of you must give money to help the poor. (They Don 't help.) Don 't give these people any donations. Beware, you have been warned. They get millions of dollars each year (TAX FREE) TO "HELP THE POOR, OR PEOPLE IN CRISIS ". They also hire pastors who are sexual offenders. The one pastor they hired had a relationship with a underage girl and got her pregnant. These people are not children of God. Beware. read more

My family and I have been attending CF for more than four years. We love this church and truly believe in it's mission for the Kingdom. The beliefs and teachings are straight from the Bible. Since coming to CF, our faith and relationship with Jesus Christ has grown exponentially. Being a part of the loving community here, we have never felt more connected and have met amazing friends to do life with. My husband and I take something away from every Sunday's sermon and enjoy the awesome worship music. From the classes and small groups CF offers, to the kids programming, and all the events, there is something for everyone at every season of life. This is a Christ first church that is always challenging and humbling us to keep Jesus at the center of our lives. There are so many resources and opportunities to get involved and connected. We attended Financial Peace University and The Art of Parenting classes- both which we really enjoyed. The kids programming-AMAZING! Our kids love going to their classes and learning about Jesus. For us, the first thing that really made Calvary Fellowship Downingtown stand out from the rest is their Childrens' ministry. The first Sunday my wife and I attended with our two boys, we were blown away by the sense of community and engaging atmosphere in the kids programming. Our sons love church school at CF Downingtown and the CF staff is a huge part of that! Calvary is a large church, but it sure doesn't feel like one. There are so many opportunities to connect with others, sign up for a class, serve the church if that's your thing, and everyone is welcoming with a warm hello the moment you enter CF! There are so many groups available no matter where you are in life, staff will meet you where you're at and help you get connected. We love hearing the word at this Christ first church! When we moved into the area we found out about Calvary through people at work and immediately had our kids begin to go to youth events and began to attend services. Having been very involved in churches before we have a good idea of when a church is a good place to grow with Christ and can serve our family well. Calvary is definitely that kind of place. It had been great for our kids (ages 17, 16, 13, 11). They are growing closer to God and have many opportunities to serve. My wife and I have also found many communities with which to connect and have found places to serve. The leaders there care and the Pastoral staff are top notch. Just started attending 6 months ago after moving to PA. I've been very favorably impressed with the Biblical teaching, the warmth of the folks who attend, the willingness to connect and support the body of believers. I'm in music ministry, have been to various churches small-to-large, and this church has a 'small church' feeling while being a larger congregation. Several pastors have taught and each brings their own flavor while staying true to the Scriptures. Calvary is an welcoming church that preaches straight from the Bible and emphasizes true life found only in Christ! Great stuff for newcomers plus deep stuff for long-time Christians. The kids program is amazing, the high school program is awesome, and the small groups are an excellent way to connect with adults. This is a wonderful church for the whole family. They offer a Christ first experience on Sunday morning along with a wonderful online option for those who can't make it onsite. Calvary takes wonderful care of children from newborns all the way into young adults. They also offer a wide variety of communities to pick from ranging from Bible studies to badminton. Such a warm, friendly & down to earth group of people. Pastor Lee loves his church dearly and preaches from the Bible. Calvary does lots of community outreach and missions work and makes it a goal of theirs to just love on people and encourage them in their walk with the Lord.
