I found this church by driving through the neighborhood one day. When I finally attended the…read morechurch I felt loved the very moment I stepped foot in the doors. They have greeters at the front door who are intentional about not just saying hi to you, but to get to know you, which is refreshing. That one greeter, Mark, won't let you slip by him, lol. One member of the church saw me sitting down in the atrium for a stint, and came up to me to ask me how I was, that she hadn't seen me before, and she intentionally sparked a convo with me. This was like my 3rd time going to the church, so I was truly amazed by her initiation. I have found that this church is about "relationship", which is what the Bible teaches. Speaking of the Bible, I have found that every sermon is biblically based and layered in truth, and humility. I attended the sermons they had on "The End Times", along with the series they are in now, which is "I love my church", and while I thought this last series would be corny, it actually was dead-on because the pastor took current events in our country to explain the contrast between what is happening in our world, and what the Bible teaches. While I have been new to going to this church, and haven't really settled here (yet), what I find interesting, is that all of the pastors seem to share the pulpit. Same with the music... it appears that there are several different teams. Additionally, I have really been enjoying that the services are only an hour long, there is racial diversity in both the leadership and the congregation, and there is freedom to experience God for yourself individually, as they turn off the lights during the praise and worship session. At the current moment, I really like going to this church. I am not a member of the church so I don't carry a bias view, but would recommend it because they preach from the Bible.

Typically we go to Mass here when visiting Pennsylvania. Congregation is friendly but not what I'd call welcoming. Could be it's so large that people just don't know each other. I won't be sending my kids to this school as they wouldn't be allowed and also, they don't practice what they preach. Discrimination based on religion should be far from their frame of belief but sure enough.. main stream scare tactics have taken over their trust in God, and the bodies He's created.
